Chapter1

Serena’s p.o.v.

I’m here. Now, Serena don’t back out on this. You have to do this for Rei’s sake, for all the other girls out there that have been…agrr! Here I go…

Serena walks into the cold yet handsome building.

" Hi, I’m Serena Star, could you show me where Mr.Chiba’s office is located? I have an appointment with him."

"Oh Hi! You must be the famous Miss Star! Please follow me!" a pretty lady who looked about 25 years old said cheerfully.

Knock, knock!

" Mr. Chiba? Miss Star is here!"

" Come in!" said a rich voice.

" Okay, Miss Star, please go in! It was nice meeting you, bye!" with that done, the lady left Serena outside Darien’s office door.

Serena, don’t freak out! But what if I fall for him myself? Then what do I do? You CAN’T! Remember why you’re here!!!!!!! Get a life!

Serena walked into the office.

Darien’s p.o.v.

Today, there’s this girl, Miss Serena Star, who happens to be one of the greatest designers in the entire world. We made an appointment so that she could come today. She was to design my newest house for me. I heard a lot about that girl. It was said that she was just a natural when it comes to designing things. She could not only design houses, but clothes, parks, you name it!

" Mr. Chiba? Miss Star is here!" my secretary said.

" Come in!" I answered.

Moments later an angle in a business suit walked in. She had the weirdest hairstyle. It was put into a pigtail with two balls at each side. Meatball head! Good nickname. Eee, somehow I don’t think she would like it. Hehe, wonder if she’s free? Gotta ask!

" Hi, you must be Mr.Chiba."

Her voice, so sweet! Like music to my ears! STOP! Get a grip Darien! She could be married for all you know!

" Call me Darien. So Serena, can I cal you that?"

" Sure."

" Can I see my designs please?"

Serena’s p.o.v.

I carefully handed him the designs I drew making sure our hands didn’t touch. He is cute, gotta admit that. I can see how Rei fell for him.

" Do you like them? "

No answer…

" Darien? Darien? Hello? I said do you LIKE THEM!" I yelled. What’s wrong with him? Is he deaf? Sheesh!

Darien’s p.o.v.

Gorgeous designs! I love them! They are just as beautiful and perfect as she is! I hear her yell at me. Why? Did I do something wrong?

"Hun? What did you say?"

Sigh…

" I said, do you like them?"

" Hun? Oh yeah, I love them. Say, are you free tomorrow night?"

" What?"

Serena’s p.o.v

This guy’s crazy! Hmm… On the other hand, going out might not be that bad. At least then I can get a step closer to my goal.

" Are you free tomorrow night?"

" That depends, what are you asking for?" I said in my sexiest voice and I gave him my special smile that had always melted men’s heart.

Darien’s p.o.v.

That smile, I think I’m gonna faint! No, can’t do that.

" I’m asking you out to dinner Ms.Serena, so is that a yes or no?" I didn’t wanna sound rude, but heck, I was never patient.

" Well…"

Oh no, please let her say yes.

" Sure, why not?"

" Pick you up at seven?"

" Okay. So are you going to except my designs?"

" Yup, you can work out the details with my secretary Lizzy."

" Okay, bye Darien." With that she swiftly walked out the door with her designs.

Hmm… What an odd girl….

Serena’s p.o.v.

Oh man! If I stay in there one more second, I would have just melted! Stop that Serena. This is the cold and mean Darien you’re talking about! He is the one that broke Rei’s heart and soul! And you are here to avenge her!
