Yeah, that's me. Well, close enough. Complete NGE freak, if not Mecha in general...

My God (and everyone else's)... what am I doing, writing about myself? No one writes about themselves any more, they all write about other people, mainly characters in NGE fanfics who just happen to have a thing going with the character the author just happens to be in love with himself...*

Note that I said "him" self. This is NOT because
a) I'm male (I'm not)
b) I'm only talking about males (I'm not)
c) I don't know that it should be "their" when the gender is unspecified... (I do)

So why is it? I guess it's just my anti-feminist statement for the day. If you don't like it, pretend I didn't say it. I'm not actually trying to insult anyone, so don't be insulted. It's all in the mind.

Where was I? Ah yes, talking about Katana... :)

Yeah. Quite. Whatever...

Anyway, I'm a complete (not yet certified exactly) NGE freak, one of those people who searches the ICQ white pages for Shinji Ikaris... don't knock it, it works...**

I'm always ready for discussions on NGE, especially about... well, anything, I guess. The end of EOE, or why Misato didn't kill Kaji (mm, didn't you know? It was Shinji... check out my quiz***...), or about the mysterious organisation Seele...

I also don't mind (read: enjoy) conversations about the characters. But try not to wish too often in my hearing (seeing...?) that you will one day meet someone like your favourite character... I did, and trust me, it's overrated... I won't go into that now, though.

Heh... well. As you'll soon gather, I don't like Ode to Joy. I used to, but in yr 7, we had to play it on the keyboards... and those twenty-odd mangled Ode to Joys put me off it for life. Personally, I prefer Tchaikovsky. His 4th, his 6th, and Swan Lake. Especially the harp cadenza in the latter...

What else about me? Well, there's my weird sense of humour, as those who just looked at the quiz have probably found out *grin*... and there's my tendency to give my own opinion and THEN worry about how many people I've insulted (I'm not THAT bad, though)... and I say "quite" all the time (so if you ever realise you've taken to answering every other question with that word, you'll know where you got it from)... Well, that's about it. Now onto my little vocab list. :)

NGE - Neon Genesis Evangelion. Think, guys...
EOE - End of Evangelion, THE movie of a lifetime... pity no one understood it... *grin*
Mecha - Mechanical stuff, ie, Robots
Katana - Samurai sword. Long... short... I've heard different versions...
Kawaii - Cute. Usually followed by an exclamation mark, and preceded by "He's so"...
Baka - Stupid
Anta baka? - What my friend Rei likes to ask me every few minutes****
Swan Lake - An opera, according to someone on a quiz show... get a life...
Alright - the incorrect spelling of the word(s). Used 3/4 times in the fan-subbed EOE*****
All right - the correct spelling. Used twice in the fan-subbed EOE
DWBH - Don't worry, be happy!
~*~ - A flower. Was this meant to be a VOCAB list???

Learn anything? If you learnt that Swan Lake is an opera, forget it. It's a ballet. But you knew that already (and that is one word), didn't you?

Oh yeah, and I've just learnt how to say all of "he's so cute" in Japanese... I figured I wasn't going to remember it at the time, so I wrote it down... Kare wa totemo kawaii desu!

NB: The picture of Katana at the top was drawn by me. It was NOT traced etc from anything, and is pretty much original. If you steal it, I'll be rather flattered because it's the only decent thing I've ever drawn, but I'd really rather you didn't...
