SWEET MEMORIES '93 (SONY SRCL2546, released December 2, 1992)

After "1992 Nouvelle Vague," Seiko released this year-end treat for her fans. Included is the new Japanese version of "Right Combination" (without Donnie Wahlberg), as well as the updated title track. The English songs were met with mixed reactions by Seiko fans. While she has had many collaborators, lyricist Suzi Kim did not prove to be one of the most enduring or popular. A sample of Suzi's lyrics from "Wanna Know How" will give you an idea of her style: "The time's right for us to come together, Let's give it a try, You've got so much to discover, Come taste my pie." Listen and draw your own conclusions...
