Nineteen years after the release of "Kaze
Wa Aiiro" and the North Wind album, we're all familiar with
the history that followed. We've heard the songs, we've seen the
concerts, we've followed the media onslaught. In 1980, there was
no way of knowing if Seiko's career would endure or if she would
be a major or minor star. As you look at the photo above, know
that all of the hopes...all of the dreams...all of the fears...all
of the strength that created the performer that you love in 1999
lives behind these young eyes.
