This sword belongs to a guardian of the Realm of Thalinshar on the continentn of Alliyah (all-yuh) It is a very special sword. It contains the soul of his wife. For being an obedient servant to his god, He was granted a wish and it was to have his dearly departed wife with wife with him again. And that was the wish of his wife. However, her wish was to go in to battle and fight along side her husband. so the god granted both of their wishes. She was imbedded in the sword and even helps him out by wrapping the red ribbon (a momento he kept with him where ever he went) around the the necks of the unsuspecting evil doers and choking unitl her beloved smite them in the name of justice (real cheesy i know but it was all I could come up with on such short notice... JEEEZE!!!) LOL
