ECLIPSE NEWS

Many of us are already feeling the effects of the coming eclipse which takes place at 1100am on the 11 August, 1999. Those most affected are Leos and Aquarians, however, the signs of Scorpio and Taurus will also feel its dramatic pull.

World dramas will increase and there will be some very strange developments. It is as if people are stuck and afraid to move on. There will be a sense of holding on to the past with all of our might because the fear of release is too enormous to contemplate. Yet for those born under the sign of Leo they simply must change now. The moon conjuncting the north node in LEO shows its time for all these 'dramas' to subside, whether personally or internationally. We have to release from old conditioning which says that's how things are and they can't change. The eclipse says they can and they must for all our sakes. It is rather like an elastic band that is being stretched to its limit.

It is a time for the male and female of our species to evolve into something greater than separation.

For too long we have fought wars over land, home and family rites. This integration of the male and female will create a sensitive being that no longer needs to assert a fear-based masculine ego of bullish behaviour, neither a needy defensive female creating her own hysteria out of possessiveness. Children born at this time will be powerful in their own individual rights, but not seek power over others. They will pull on the Aquarian humanitarian influences in a huge way but will integrate the spiritual aspect of themselves also. They will no longer need to assert their Leo ego through force, but will simply touch all with their enormous hearts.

This is indeed a magic time, for all of us. We are having to balance the male and female energies within to create our new species. It will not be easy for all, some will wish to leave rather than accept peace and love directed at them. This is their choice. However, they will not be able to overcome the tremendous love that will descend upon this planet in September 1999. Teaching methods will change and people will start to demand that children are taught respect and honour of their families and each other in schools. This also will lead to a balance of male and female energies. With the part of fortune sitting at 9 degrees 55 min of Libra, we are all about to go through a major balancing act.
