Name: Maki Izumi
A salmon flavoring her life with salty puns.

(Hears the moans coming from the Izumi Fan Club people and readers..)  Okay, I know that's a bad joke to use for the great Maki Izumi, but I try.  Besides, she is the queen of bad puns, so I thought I should try one out for her.

She is third of the Three Angels (or Aesti-ladies, if you prefer), and, just like the others, she's pretty loony too.  She, as I probably already told you, spends her time skipping from serious pilot to punmistress.  She loves to laugh, and, many times, becuse her jokes are so bad, laughs by herself.

She is also the friend of ukeleles, for it is she who, near the end of the series, begins playing her ukelele badly, and sometimes at pretty bad times, but, of course, anytime she picks up that instrument can become a bad time fast.

Despite her constant craziness, she has a sad past behind her.  Her first fiance died from illness and the second from Jovian attacks.  While considering herself cursed, she tries to relieve her sorrow with laughter.
