Name: Aoi Jun
Now this is a guy I would love to love me, although he is a tad, anoo, well, I can't pinpoint it, but I will, I assure you.

Jun is/was a member of the Earth Forces.  He, however, isn't necessarily part of the group of offficers that come aboard the Nadesico to be in-between men for the ship and the Earth Forces.  Well, he is, but...  Jun initially took on the post on the Nadesico so that he could be with Yurika, who had been hired as the Nadesico's captain.  He wouldn't be able to live with himself if something happened to her, if she left without him.

Not to offend all the Jun fans out there, but this guy can be pretty obsessive and possessive of Yurika, especially in the begining of the series.  I can't blaim him, however.  Yurika is engaged to him, for god's sake.

His willingness to get a nanomachine implanted into him to fight against the Nadesico, however, leaves me with a funny feeling inside.  By the third episode, he becomes a regular in the show (he becomes true-blue-crew, or something), but, much to the dismay of his fans he rarely speaks.  Many of the times I see him, he's usually trying to get Yurika's attention, only to see that Yurika is WAY more interested in her "prince", Akito.  Like all the other guys on the ship, he is ignored by the ladies as they chase Akito (basically).

Jun, however, is still an ideal man.  His devotion to protecting Yurika is heart-warming, although was a tad warped (much of Episode 3).  He also acknowledged the fact that Akito may just win his beloved in time, but he doesn't give, now does he?
