Well Slayers is a comedic sword and sorcery Anime (Japanese animation.) series. The series main character is Lina Inverse (Who in the first series is 15.) There have been 3 TV series with 26 episodes each, and plans for a fourth are underway. Also there have been 4 Slayers Movies (The fourth came out August 1st last year and should be on LD this month.), and 3 Slayers Special OAVs. The Slayers Special storyline takes place before the first Slayers TV series and stars Lina and Naga as the main characters. The new series of Slayers OAVs entitles "Slayers Excellent" will come out soon. Volume one came out in Japan on 10/25/98, the second came out on 12/18/98, and the last one came out on 2/25/99. The Slayers series was orginally (And still is) A series of novels.
