Seiya And Usagi, Will Romeo And Juliet Be Together At Last?

 

Usagi’s voice:  Seiya is back. I am so happy. But I am worried that he has already fallen in love with someone else. What should I do? Chiyoko, please help me!

 

Shortly from Nemesis sent Moros to Earth, Cassandra sent two men to Earth too.

 

Cassandra (thinking):  Nemesis sent out the Doom without asking me. He is definitely going to fail since he is not working with others as a group. I have to send someone else to do the job.

 

Cassandra (shouting):  Hypnos! Thanatos!

 

Two men walked in. One is wearing dark purple gown and black long curving hair. The other is wearing royal blue gown and blond short hair. They have black eyes.

 

Blond hair:  The Sleep, Hypnos.

Black hair:  The Death, Thanatos.

Together:  Are ready to serve your honor.

 

Cassandra:  Nemesis sent Moros to Earth to get the Crystal back. However, he is going to fail definitely since he is working alone. I want you to go there and get back Prince Eric and Princess Irene’s Crystals from Earth. Do you understand?

 

Together:  Yes, your honor, you will see the Crystals very soon.

 

[Title Screen]

 

Usagi is sleeping in her bed with a sweet smile. She is dreaming that Seiya tells her that he loves her and takes her out for a romantic date. In reality, Seiya stands besides her bed and is staring at her with a smile.

 

Seiya (thinking):  She is very beautiful, and lovely too.

 

Then Seiya starts to shake Usagi gently.

 

Seiya:  Wake up! Wake up! Odango, wake up!

 

Usagi’s dream is broken. She is not happy about it.

 

Usagi (murmuring):  Um…mother, please let me sleep for few more minutes.

 

Seiya (chuckling with sweat-drops):  Mother? Odango! Wake up! I am not your mother so I won’t let you sleep anymore. Wake up!

 

Usagi gets up suddenly. She slowly turns her head and stares Seiya eyes to eyes. Then she jumps to Seiya’s arms happily.

 

Usagi (smiling):  So it was not a dream. You are back.

 

Seiya (smiling):  Yes, I am back, and you need to go to school now.

 

Usagi (smiling with eyes closed):  Yeah, we can go to school together now.

 

Seiya (shakes his head):  We are no longer going to your school. We called our agent to begin our idol job. We will go to private school instead.

 

Usagi (opens her eyes sadly):  Why? Why don’t you guys come to our school? You can go to public school and do your idol work at the same time, like last time.

 

Seiya:  Last time we wanted to send our message to as many people as possible. That was why we went to public school. But actually, we don’t like to get swarmed by crowds of fans, and we do get tired of having no privacy every day. So this time, we are going to go to private school instead.

 

Usagi (sadly with tears in her eyes):  Then I am not going to school today. You just came back and I would like to spend the day with you.

 

Seiya:  No, you have to go to school. Don’t you want to graduate? Please don’t get upset. We can see each other every night, right?

 

Usagi smiles and nods. She quickly dresses up (without Seiya’s present of course ^.~) Seiya goes to the front door with Usagi.

 

Usagi (blushed):  I am looking forward to see you tonight.

 

Usagi then kisses Seiya’s cheek good-bye and runs out the door. Seiya is surprised and blushed. Then Taiki shows up behind Seiya.

 

Taiki:  Our princess wants to talk to you.

 

Three lights and Kakyuu are sitting in the living room.

 

Kakyuu:  Aren’t you going to tell her?

 

Seiya (hesitating):  I…I don’t know.

 

Taiki:  It seems to me you have a chance now, a very big chance.

 

Seiya (sighs):  That’s what I don’t want to happen. I don’t want to be a substitute.

 

Yaten:  I think that you don’t even have the chance to be a substitute.

 

Seiya tries to punch Yaten and they almost get into a fight.

 

Kakyuu:  Stop it the two of you!

 

Taiki comes between the two boys and stops them. Then they sit down.

 

Kakyuu (giggling):  I realize it now that boys are really different from girls.

 

Seiya and Yaten are embarrassed.

 

Kakyuu (facing Seiya):  Fighter, I believe you are so deeply in love with her that you don’t mind to be a substitute.

 

Seiya looks at Kakyuu with embarrassment.

 

Kakyuu:  Don’t ask why I know it. I can see it in your eyes. You don’t mind to be a substitute. You are just afraid that she is not going to be with you even she broke up with Mamoru-san. But I think you should try for it. You should ask her at least.

 

Seiya:  But I am worried that…

 

Kakyuu:  You are worried that you can’t even be friends if you say it.

 

Seiya nods with a worried face.

 

Kakyuu:  I don’t think so. If you don’t ask her and she is in love with you, you will give your chance away. Usagi-san is a kind girl. I believe you can still be friends if she doesn’t love you. Usagi-san and Mamoru-san are still friends now, right?

 

Seiya (stands up):  Princess, let me think about it first. I’d like to go out for a walk.

 

Kakyuu (smiling):  Promise me to think about it.

 

Seiya nods with a smile and leaves the house. Meanwhile, Usagi is talking with Ami, Makoto, and Minako at school.

 

Ami:  Aren’t you going to ask him?

 

Usagi (hesitating):  I…I don’t know.

 

Makoto:  Usagi-chan, you have waited for this. How could you give up now?

 

Usagi:  But I am worried that he is not in love with me anymore.

 

Minako:  What are you talking about?

 

Usagi:  I saw him with Princess Kakyuu.

 

Minako:  That’s non-sense. If those two were a pair, they would be, a long time ago.

 

Usagi:  But I am worried…

 

Makoto:  I don’t care what you are worrying about. You are not such kind of person. Seiya-kun loves the old Usagi, the positive and lovely Usagi. You should give it a try: tell him your true feeling at least.

 

Ami and Minako nod.

 

Ami:  Makoto-chan is right. Usagi-chan, promise us you will at least try.

 

Usagi hesitates but nods. After school, when they are leaving with the Graces, they see that Rei, Chiyoko, and Mamoru are standing at the gate.

 

Rei:  Hi! Care for a drink?

 

Usagi:  I’m sorry but I am not going. Chiyoko, I’m sorry but could I go to your house with you? I’d like to talk to you. (Looking around at everyone,) alone.

 

Everyone is surprised to hear that.

 

Chiyoko (smiling):  Of course, Usagi. You guys go for the drink. I will spend my afternoon with my dear sister.

 

At Chiyoko’s house, Usagi and Chiyoko are sitting on two chairs in Chiyoko’s bedroom. They are having tea.

 

Chiyoko:  Are you worried that Seiya-san has given you up?

 

Usagi is shocked and she quickly looks up at Chiyoko.

 

Usagi:  How would you know?

 

Chiyoko:  I’m just guessing. You’re ok with Mamoru-chan and me, you’re sure you are in love with Seiya-san, and he has come back. What else would you worry? It must be that you are not sure about his feelings. Am I right?

 

Usagi (sighs):  I knew it. You are the person who understands me most. To be the sworn sister of you is the smartest thing I’ve ever done.

 

Chiyoko (smiling):  Thank you very much. I’m happy to be your sworn sister too. But would you share your problem with me? I’d like to hear the details.

 

Usagi tells Chiyoko what happened since Seiya came back.

 

Usagi:  Seiya didn’t tell me his feelings last time because he didn’t want to put me into a difficult choice. He is talented and good at both sport and study. He is so perfect that I couldn’t believe that he fell in love with me. I’m not sure now if he is still in love with me. He might love me at the beginning but when he thought of it, he would find out that I was not worth it.

 

Chiyoko:  Usagi-chan, you are worried too much. Are you going to hide your feelings because of your pride and imagination? It isn’t like you.

 

Usagi:  But when I woke up from the illusion last time, I saw him making food in the kitchen with Princess Kakyuu very happily. He stared at her without a blink.

 

Chiyoko (turns her eyeballs up):  Oh, come on, Usagi. Do you think that he is not in love with you anymore just simply because he made some food for you with another girl? Do you think that he could make the food all by himself? And have you ever seen someone learned cooking without staring at the teacher?

 

Usagi:  But if he is still in love with me, why did he choose to go to private school? Doesn’t he want to see me everyday?

 

Chiyoko:  He told you his reason, didn’t he? Also, you guys can see each other every night, right? (Becomes very seriously.) Usagi-chan, do you know why I would be with Mamoru-chan without worrying he will break up with me one day like he did to you?

 

[CM Break]

 

Usagi:  You don’t mind he did that to me because you knew our story and noticed that we were together because of loyalty, past life memory, and responsibility, but we don’t really love each other.

 

Chiyoko:  Yes, but it was only part of it. Mamoru-chan told me that he dumped you once when he had a strange dream. Last time, when Mamoru-chan was put into the illusion, he could wake up by himself because he knew me so well that he noticed the “Chiyoko” in the illusion was different from the real me. He trusted me. So I made up my mind. What I am trying to say is that trust is most important part of love. If you love him, you should trust him. Trust he’d never forget you.

 

Usagi is surprised to hear that. But seconds later, she smiles and nods.

 

Chiyoko:  Moreover, he did everything for you without asking everything back from you. He knew you had a boyfriend. You told him you would stay with Mamoru-chan. But he still did what he did for you. Can’t you do the same thing for him?

 

Usagi is shamed and downcast. She is worried that Seiya won’t love this selfish girl.

 

Chiyoko:  Don’t be dejected. I think he still love you. Let me ask you something. You mentioned he gave you a rose. Did he do or say anything when he gave you that?

 

Usagi (shakes her head with tears):  He didn’t say anything. If he said something like ‘I love you,’ I would not worry like this now.

 

Chiyoko:  Don’t worry about it. Be confident for yourself, and for him. Anyway, could you describe the rose for me?

 

Usagi:  It was a red rose, full bloom, thornless. Why do you ask?

 

Chiyoko:  A single one?

 

Usagi nods. Chiyoko hesitates a little and thinks for a moment. Then she sighs.

 

Usagi (nervously):  What is it?

 

Chiyoko:  I am not sure if I am right, and I don’t know how he knew that. But do you know what that rose means?

 

Usagi:  Do you think I know?

 

Chiyoko (sweet-dropped):  I knew it. Let me tell you. Red rose means I love you, thornless rose means love at first sight, a single full bloom rose means I still love you, and one single rose means you are my only true love. He kept telling you that he loves you always and you didn’t give him a reply but asked him to fight?! Usagi-chan, you’d better finish you tea quickly and look for him to tell him you love him.

 

Usagi (blushed and excited):  You mean that he told me he loves me already? How could I suppose to know what he meant? He should know that I was not that smart.

 

Chiyoko:  He might believe you would find that out from your friends. By the way, pick a time for us to meet after you talked with him. I am really looking forward to meet my sworn sister’s future husband, (blinks) ok?

 

Usagi (blushed, nods with a sweet smile):  Of course. I would like you two to meet too. We should thank you. Oh, Seiya loves me! He still loves me! I’m so happy. I am not going to lose him this time. Thank you very much, for what you have done for me.

 

Chiyoko (smiling):  You don’t need to thank me. Remember? We are sisters!

 

Usagi (nodding and smiling):  Yes, sisters!

 

They look at each other and smiles.

 

Chiyoko (thinking):  Everything is going to be fine now.

 

Meanwhile, Hypos and Thanatos are discussing in an unknown dark place.

 

Thanatos:  What shall we do next?

 

Hypos:  The Three Dreams had attacked a girl called Tsukino Usagi and got killed. I think it will be a great chance that she is Princess Irene. We have to find her. I can put her into sleep and you can drive her to depth. Since so far there is only one Universal Crystal is created, they cannot keep her alive and attack us at the same time. If we combine our power, we have a big chance to win. After we killed the princess, we can get the Universal Crystal from her.

 

Thanatos:  Great idea! Let’s go!

 

In the Crown, while four inners, three Graces, and Mamoru are talking, Seiya walks in. He is surprised to see Mamoru is there. When Mamoru smiles at him, he frowns.

 

Seiya:  Mamoru-san, may I talk with you privately?

 

Mamoru:  Sure, why not? Do you mind to come to my apartment?

 

Seiya ignores that and goes out first. Mamoru follows him.

 

Minako:  Do you know what they are going to talk about?

 

Rei:  About Usagi and Chiyoko-chan of course, you stupid!

 

Seiya and Mamoru walk to Mamoru’s apartment silently. After they reached there, Mamoru makes some tea and they sit down on the sofa.

 

Mamoru:  You want to talk about Usagi-san and Chiyoko-chan, is that right?

 

Seiya (frowning):  You’d better leave that girl immediately and go back to Odango.

 

Mamoru:  Oh? I thought you love her.

 

Seiya (a little bit blushed):  Yes, I love her, but she loves you. And I want her to be happy, so you have to go back to her.

 

Mamoru:  But I don’t love her…

 

Seiya punches Mamoru to the floor.

 

Seiya (angrily):  How could you do this to her? She has loved you even you were not with her and didn’t protect her. But you dumped her because you met another girl?

 

Mamoru:  Are you going to force us to be together even I don’t love her?

 

Seiya:  I don’t care anything as long as Odango is happy.

 

Mamoru:  Do you think she will be happy if we are together but I don’t love her?

 

Seiya (hesitating):  I…

 

Mamoru:  Seiya-san, Usagi-san and I split up for good. We realized we are no longer Serenity and Endymion. We have to live for ourselves but not for our past life. Actually, she has loved you from the beginning.

 

Seiya is in complete shock. Then he frowns.

 

Seiya:  Don’t think of an excuse for yourself. And don’t insult and frame Odango. If she were in love with me, she would not choose you.

 

Mamoru (shakes his head):  I didn’t insult her. She chose me because she could not believe that there would be someone else for her. She could not believe that you, such a fine person, would love her true self. She could not believe that she would fall for another person after she saw her future. She became unsecured to choose an unknown future. However, her brain could convince her that she loved me and should choose me, but her heart could not follow. She could not control her heart. Right after you left, she became unsure for our future and asked if I loved her still and how much I loved her. I realized her difference immediately but I didn’t know the reason. These months, she has mentioned you more and more. Every time she complained that I haven’t been with her much enough like you did. Her eyes lit up every time she mentioned you. She became more spirited with you than me. I am a normal man. I want a girl who loves me, only me, without anyone else in her heart. So I finally gave her up.

 

Seiya is surprised to hear that. He can’t say a word first but he recovers fast.

 

Seiya:  She might have feelings for me but she possibly forgets me by now. Also, she knew that…she knew that I am actually a girl.

 

Mamoru (shakes his head again):  I don’t think so. Recently, she realized her love to you. She missed you so much that she almost could not continue to fight. Luckily, Chiyoko-chan told her a legend on her planet how to get you back. That made her to keep going. Now you are here. Haven’t you noticed she is so happy to see you and she is happy to see Chiyoko-chan and I are together? She even asked Chiyoko-chan to be her sworn sister because Chiyoko-chan helped her a lot and saved her life, more importantly, because Chiyoko-chan promised her to get you back. About you are a girl thing, do you think Usagi-san is such kind of person who will care something like that? She would not care you are a girl or a boy because she loves you.

 

Seiya cannot say a word. He is thinking if he is going to believe what Mamoru said. Then suddenly he feels a pain in his heart again. This time is not as pain as last time on his own planet but he feels uncomfortable and notice Usagi may be in danger.

 

Mamoru:  Try to think about it and talk with Usagi-san. I wish you good luck.

 

Seiya (nods):  I will talk with Odango as soon as possible. I’d better go now.

 

Right after Seiya walked out the door, Mamoru gets a call from Mars.

 

Mars (crying and shouting):  Mamoru-san! Come to Chiyoko-chan’s home as soon as possible! Usagi is in narcosis again. Protector said that you have to come as quick as you can. She needs you to use the Universal Crystal to keep Usagi alive. Otherwise…otherwise, she will die very soon!

 

Author’s Note

 

Oh my god! Seiya has just come back and Usagi is in narcosis again? Why the fate keeps separating them? Woo… (crying loudly). Anyway, I have been trying to teach the readers something in each episode: speak openly to your love, trust your beloved one, etc. I won’t repeat the lesson in this section.
