Seiya Was Chiyoko’s Fiancé? Seiya’s True Identity Revealed!
Usagi’s voice: Seiya was Chiyoko’s fiancé? What should I do? Am I going to lose him? No, I am not! Seiya loves me and I love him. Like Endymion and Serenity, their relationship was history. I should trust Seiya if I love him.
From last episode, Seiya and Chiyoko are hugging each other. Everyone else is in complete shock. Four inners exchange glances after they saw Mamoru and Usagi’s faces. They think they should break the ice and try to bring Chiyoko and Seiya’s attention to Mamoru and Usagi’s feelings.
Ami: Chiyoko-chan, I know you are very happy to see Seiya-kun, but now the enemy had seen the other Universal Crystal. They don’t know that actually everyone can create it but not just Prince Eric and Princess Irene, so they made a mistake that both the prince and princess were here. What shall we do next? They are definitely not going to leave the Earth alone and put all their power here now.
Chiyoko and Seiya look at each other smilingly. They then turn to the others but are still holding each other. Everyone is uncomfortable to see that, especially Mamoru and Usagi of course.
Chiyoko (smiling): I don’t know. What do you think, Seiya…chan, (giggles)?
Seiya notices Usagi is about to cry and he shakes his head.
Seiya: I think you should tell them the truth.
Chiyoko sees Usagi’s tears too, so she decides to stop it.
Chiyoko (to Ami, seriously): I don’t care if they leave the Earth or not. We are going to fight them no matter where they are. And I don’t know what we can do. After all, that woman was telling the truth.
Then Chiyoko turns to Seiya again.
Chiyoko (smiling): Right, brother?
Everyone, except Chiyoko, Seiya, and Graces, looks at them with wide eyes.
All (shocked shouting): BROTHER???

Everyone is sitting around in the living room of Chiyoko’s house. Mamoru and Seiya are holding Chiyoko and Usagi respectively from the two girls’ back. Everyone has a smile on the face. Graces bow to Seiya.
Yuko: Aglaia
Keiko: Euphrosyne
Akiko: Thalia
Together: Are honored to receive you, Prince Eric.
Seiya (smiling): Get up. Quickly get up. We are no longer Eric and Irene anymore. We are simply Seiya and Chiyoko. I even gave up my title a long time ago.
Graces get up and sit down.
Usagi: I should notice it earlier. Chiyoko and you have the same beautiful eyes, even the color of them are the same. But your eyes are the only thing alike though. You two don’t really look like each other.
Chiyoko (smiling): Because we are not real siblings on Earth. Even as Eric and Irene, Irene looked like Queen Frederica and Eric looked like King Derek.
Yaten (mockingly): I still can’t believe it. Usagi-san and you are not like prince and princess at all. There must be some mistakes.
Before Seiya can say a word, Usagi and Chiyoko give Yaten a lesson immediately.
Usagi: Yes, you are right. We are not prince and princess. We are Seiya and Usagi. That’s all. We don’t need those titles.
Chiyoko: Usagi is right. We would like to be normal people very much. We don’t care what we original were. But Seiya-kun, I wonder what happened since you left. Where did you go? Queen Frederica sent you to save Silver Millennium, right?
Everyone looks at him with curious face, especially Usagi.
Usagi: Yes, they told me you went to Silver Millennium to save us. But I remember I didn’t see you. Did you see me?
Seiya: I didn’t get there in time. When I got there, the Silver Millennium had already been destroyed. I felt so guilty. When I found out you got destroyed because you couldn’t use your true power, I asked Queen Frederica to send me for training.
Usagi (confused): What do you mean, “I could not use my true power”?
Seiya: I mean you and Mamoru-san. You two were Endymion and Serenity at that time, right? You, the two of you, didn’t know how to fight at all, did you? I noticed that if I remained the form of a prince, I might end up the same outcome as well. So I asked Queen Frederica to put me on sailor training. That was why I was memory erased and reborn as a girl on planet Kinomku.
Usagi has a confused face. Many “???” fly around her head.
Usagi: So you were original a boy, then you were reborn as a girl, and then you came to Earth as a boy. Then what are you actually, a boy or a girl?
Seiya (nervously): Do you mind if I’m a girl?
Chiyoko: So now you are worried about your female appearance. Why did you leave me without saying a word? Do you know how much more responsibility I needed to take after you left? You wouldn’t remember a thing after you left but I had missed you very much ever since.
Chiyoko starts to cry and Mamoru tries to comfort her.
Mamoru: It’s ok. Seiya-kun is here and we are all together now.
Seiya: I’m very sorry. I didn’t want to be defenseless if an enemy came. That’s why I asked her to let me go for training. I did it for both of us. Do you think I was happy to leave?
Usagi: Don’t get upset, Chiyoko, Seiya-chan. If that didn’t happen, I would be dead by now, right? It was Seiya-chan who saved me so many times. And how could you two meet Mamoru-san and me? What about our Universal Crystals? Like Yuko-chan said, fate is a very interesting thing and has its own goal. We are happy now. That’s all that counts. We don’t need to think of the past.
Chiyoko stops crying, wipes her tears away, and smiles.
Chiyoko: You’re right, Usagi-chan. Sorry, Seiya-kun. I was being selfish.
Seiya: No, you were not. I was the one being selfish. I didn’t take the responsibility as an heir and a brother. And I was not there when King and Queen were…but like Odango said, it was the past now.
Chiyoko nods and everyone smiles.
Ami: By the way, you two are not brother and sister in this life actually, right?
Usagi: Who cares? All of us sitting here today are in one family. We don’t care who we really are. We only know that our lives stick together no matter what.
Everyone nods.
Kakyuu: So what are we going to do next?
Chiyoko: Yuko-chan, what would you suggest?
Yuko: First of all, Ami-chan, Luna-chan, Akiko-chan, and I will continue on our work, i.e. searching where the enemy truly is.
Everyone nods. Yuko turns to the two couples.
Yuko (smiling): Then I would suggest the four of you should live together from now on, or at least until we find out where is our enemy and destroy it.
The two couples are blushed immediately, especially the girls, who look at Yuko with doubt.
Yuko: Don’t look at me like that. Usagi-chan’s injury was a very good lesson. We need to make sure that we can use the Universal Crystals anytime we want. The best way to do so is the four of you live together. You can protect each other in this way too. If you really feel uncomfortable, you may ask someone else to stay with you. One more thing, you have to stop going to school for a short period of time.
Rei (teasingly): Woo, Usagi would love to hear that she doesn’t need to go to school and can spend everyday with Seiya-kun. But I don’t think any of us should stay with these two couples. We won’t be so inconsiderate, right, everyone?
Everyone rushes into laughter except the two couples who are deeply in red. Usagi and Rei start to push and tease each other.
Mamoru: Ok, stop it right now.
Seiya: Yeah, you guys are just jealous.
Yaten (teasingly): Jealous? Oh, I don’t think so. And by the way, I wonder who cried like a baby?
Seiya is embarrassed. Usagi turns around and looks at him with a sweet smile. Seiya smiles back. Everyone else is so happy to see that, especially Chiyoko, who is looking and smiling with Mamoru as well. Although everyone knows that they are getting closer and closer to danger, they know they are going to make it with these two perfect couples. Meanwhile, Nemesis and Cassandra are discussing in the big hall.
Nemesis: You sent Hypnos and Thanatos to Earth and they fail, do you know?
Cassandra: Yes, I do.
Nemesis: Those fools are useless. And this proves your “working as a term” thing doesn’t work, again. This time, I am going to do it myself.
Cassandra: That’s a good idea. Like the phrase on Earth, “if you want something done, do it yourself.” But you’d better be careful. They are not a piece of cake.
Nemesis: I know.
Then Nemesis leaves. And Cassandra goes into a big room and bows to a dark shade.
Cassandra: Your highness, both Prince Eric and Princess Irene are on the Earth. Nemesis is going to do the work herself this time. She has already left.
The shade walks forward. It is a pretty girl wearing a long black no shoulders dress, with long black curving hair and black eyes. She is Princess Victoria.
Victoria: What do you think, Cassandra? Is she going to make it?
Cassandra: I am not sure. But I believe that even if she cannot make it, we have your highness here with the highest power. We don’t need to worry about it.
Victoria: You’re right. Ha…! I am going to rule the universe very soon. Ha…!
Cassandra (thinking while Victoria is laughing): I don’t think Victoria’s going to make it. I’ll wait and see. If she really fails, I’d better go find her. I need a higher power to do the job.
[CM Break]
Everyone is still in Chiyoko’s home.
Michiru: It is really late now. We’d better go.
Yuko (to the two couples): Take care of yourselves. We’ll continue on our work: searching the enemy and any other couples who have Universal Crystals. Go out as least as you can for a couple of days so that we can find you easily. We’ll call you if we get anything.
Two couple nod.
Ami: Usagi-chan, you’d better write a note for your parents. I could leave it at your home for you.
Usagi: Oh yes, I forgot. Thanks for reminding me.
Usagi quickly writes a short note and gives it to Ami. Since they don’t want Chiyoko’s workers and fostress get into this, Chiyoko asks them to quit and leave in the next morning. After the others left, the two couples look at each other embarrassingly. Then Chiyoko decides to break the ice.
Chiyoko (smiling): Is any of you hungry?
Usagi (puts her right hand up smilingly): I am!
Seiya (teasingly): You’re always hungry.
Usagi (pouting): And you always only know how to tease me.
Mamoru holds Chiyoko and they smile.
Mamoru: No wonder Yaten-kun said that he could not believe that they were prince and princess. Are you sure that Seiya-kun was your elder brother but not your younger brother, Chiyoko-chan?
Chiyoko giggles with no reply. Seiya and Usagi smile embarrassingly.
Chiyoko: I’ll go to make some food. Mamoru-chan, would you come and help me?
Usagi: I’ll come with you. I can help you too.
Seiya (teasingly to Usagi): I suggest her not to listen to you.
Usagi (pouting): Hey…
Chiyoko (smiling): Ok, ok, stop it now. You two go to check on the guest rooms to see if anything is missing. You may take any room you like. Then you may go to have a shower. You should find some male and female pajamas in the rooms. I saved those for guests. I will tell you when food is ready.
About half an hour later, two couples are having beef noodles in the dining room.
Usagi: Your cooking is delicious. Where did you learn that? I thought that you have chef to cook for you.
Chiyoko: I do have chef to cook for me. But I prefer to make some food myself sometimes. I enjoy making food myself. Sometimes my fostress cooks for me too. The snacks she made were excellent. She makes food for me in most of the teatime. I learned cooking from both my mother and fostress. My mother is an excellent cook.
After they finished their food, they go to rest. In a room, Seiya holds Usagi and squeezes her with all his power. Usagi holds him back.
Usagi: What is it, Seiya-chan?
Seiya: Odango, don’t ever scare me like today anymore. I am so afraid to lose you.
Usagi (smiling): Then why don’t you go to school with me? You can keep an eye on me. I want to go the same school with you.
Seiya releases Usagi a little bit but still holding her.
Seiya: I thought I told you the reason.
Usagi (disappointed): But…
Seiya: We have to be considerate for Yaten and Taiki too, right?
Usagi: I asked you only. I didn’t ask them.
Seiya (smiling): If I go to private school, my time will be more flexible and I can spend more time with you. Don’t you think?
Although Usagi is not pleased with his answer, she knows that he is telling the truth so she nods with agreement.
Seiya (seriously): Odango, I was interrupted. What I wanted to ask you was… I was a boy when I was Eric. Although I am a boy as Seiya but …
Usagi puts her finger on Seiya’s lips to stop him. He kisses her finger and she lets go.
Usagi (blushed): I don’t care who or what you are. I don’t care where you come from. I don’t care what you did. I only know that I love you and I will never let you go, as long as you love me too. Do you love me?
Seiya: I think I fell in love with you at first sight when I saw you at the airport with Mamoru-san.
Usagi (surprised and confused): You saw me at the airport? I didn’t see you.
Seiya (unhappily): You were smiling holding his hand. How could you see me?
Usagi (giggling): Are you jealous?
Seiya doesn’t answer her question but kisses her. They look at each other for a moment. Then Usagi puts her head on Seiya’s chest with a serious face.
Usagi: Seiya-chan, after you left, I have thought of you very frequently. After I realized our love, I have dreamed of you every night: you were sitting next to me at school, we were at the park having lovely dates, and so on. I cried when I woke up and didn’t see you, when I realized what happened in my dream and the beautiful time with you was unreal. (Looking at Seiya with tears,) Seiya-chan, I am so sorry that I dragged you away, but please, promise me you won’t leave me. Please?
Seiya is touched to hear that. He has tears in his eyes and he hugs her tight.
Seiya: I should be the sorrier. I should not leave you. (Chuckles with tears.) I asked Mamoru-san not to make you cry, but finally I became the one who did it.
Usagi (smiling): You don’t have to be sorry. By the way, thanks for the rose.
Seiya (blushed and embarrassed): You knew it? How did you find that out?
Usagi: Chiyoko told me. She’s wonderful. Seiya-chan, you are too good to me. You are just perfect. I feel that I am not good enough for you…
Seiya kisses Usagi to stop her.
Seiya: Like you said, I don’t care, as long as we love each other, right?
Usagi nods with a smile.
Usagi (blushed with twinkle in her eyes): Thank you for coming back for me, Seiya-chan. I love you.
Seiya (a little blushed): Thank you for loving me, Odango. I love you too.
Then Seiya and Usagi kiss again. Few days later, Chiyoko gets a call at home.
Usagi: Who was it?
Chiyoko: It was Yuko-chan. She said they found a new star with negative energy around it in the sky. They believed it should be the one. We are going to gather around here tonight to check that out. If it were really the one, we would go there to fight.
Seiya (seriously): So this is it.
Mamoru (nods): Yes, this is it.
They have serious faces because they are worried. Then Usagi smiles.
Usagi: Don’t worry. As long as we are together, we will be able to defend anything.
The other three nod with smile and relief. At night, the Graces, the other two Lights and Kakyuu, four outers, four inners, and two cats are going to Chiyoko’s house separately in groups. Then suddenly a light covers the four inners and they disappear! Few minutes later, everyone is at Chiyoko’s house except the four inners.
Usagi: Where are they? I am so worried.
Chiyoko: They may just be late. Let’s wait a little bit longer.
Then suddenly, Yuko, who is looking at the computer, shouts.
Yuko: Look! The negative energy that covers the star is increasing. We can’t wait anymore. We’d better go now.
Usagi: But Rei…
Akiko: I am sorry, but they may be kidnapped. We should go there and get them.
Chiyoko: Let’s go, Usagi. Artemis and Luna can stay here just in case they are really late only. All of us go to the star.
Usagi has tears in her eyes. Seiya holds her.
Seiya: Don’t worry, Odango. They are going to be ok. They have survived so many battles. They will survive this one too. You have to be confident to yourself and to them. This was how you could win before, huh?
Usagi (nods stoutly): Let’s go!
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! I made everyone thought Seiya was Chiyoko’s fiancé but he turned out to be Chiyoko’s brother! Everyone thought Seiya and Chiyoko were a pair like Usagi and Mamoru but Seiya turned out to be Chiyoko’s brother! I am a genius! Well, actually, if you’ve read my story carefully, you shouldn’t be that surprised. I gave out clues: Chiyoko’s eyes, Eric’s training, Chiyoko and Graces hadn’t seen Seiya before, etc.
I have read comments about how “stupid” Usagi was, but I’d rather use the term “pure” or “innocent” instead of “stupid”. She was too “pure” and “innocent” to recognize the love of Seiya. Besides, most of the girls become unsecured and unsure when they fall in love. A girl will not be sure a boy is in love with her even though the boy says “I love you”. The girl may think, “he was probably just joking,” “he didn’t mean it,” “he was trying to trick me,” and so on. Trust me on this. I’ve heard that sort of thing more than a hundred times. So Usagi was not that bad, right?
