Seiya And Haruka: You’re A
Very Special Fellow Of Mine
Usagi’s Voice: Seiya-chan and Haruka-san are just like Rei-chan and me. They argue a lot? Yes. But no matter what happens, they’re still friends, and they’ll care for each other, protect each other, and more importantly, they trust each other.
The two couples are enjoying their dinner, i.e. pizza, in front of the TV. Suddenly, the phone rings and Chiyoko picks it up.
Chiyoko: Moshi? Moshi? Oh, hi, Haruka-san.
Usagi looks up at Chiyoko immediately.
Chiyoko: Well, great. Usagi? I’m not sure about her. Let me ask her. Hang on a sec. (To Usagi,) Usagi, Haruka-san is asking you out this Saturday. Are you free?
Seiya (frowning): NO!
The other three chuckle. Seiya’s a little bit blushed but he still holds Usagi tight.
Chiyoko: No, I was just kidding. Actually, I’d love to spend some time with our friends. So I called them this afternoon, asking them to the Crown Game Centre this Saturday. However, no one was at Haruka-san’s home at that time so I left a message. She calls me back now to say they’re going and see if the three of you are going too.
Haruka (coldly from the phone): Actually, I just see if Neko-chan, Chiyoko-chan, and Mamoru-san are going too.
The two couples and even Michiru from the other side of the phone have sweatdrops.
Michiru (grabs the phone from Haruka): Chiyoko-chan, please bring Seiya-san and Mamoru-san along. We’ll see you there at 2. Bye.

The two couples have arrived at the Crown Game Centre, which has two floors now. They walk in and notice Naru, Umino, Motoki (the guy who works at the Crown Game Centre and Usagi liked him in the first series), and Reika (Motoki’s girlfriend) are there. They say hi to each other smilingly. But the smiles of Motoki and Reika are kind of constrained. They look at the two couples in half-confused and half-curious.
Motoki: Well, let me put on the close sign for you guys. Mamoru, I haven’t seen you for so long. Where have you been?
Mamoru: Well, I was busy getting into a university. Then now I’m busy with the university workload. I’m sorry I haven’t contacted you for a long time.
Chiyoko: You don’t need to be upset, Motoki-san. I don’t see him very often either.
Everyone laughs.
Motoki (smiling): Well, I understand. I’m busy with my study and work too. Anyway, Mamoru, got a minute? I’d like to talk to you.
Mamoru: Great! May I bring Chiyoko along?
Motoki (hesitating): Um…
Mamoru (gives Motoki a gesture): Why don’t you bring Reika along?
Motoki nods. Mamoru, Chiyoko, Motoki, and Reika go upstairs.
Usagi (confused): What are they doing?
Seiya: You don’t need to worry about it. Let’s play.
Upstairs, Motoki and Reika look at Mamoru and Chiyoko embarrassedly, thinking of how to begin, whilst Mamoru and Chiyoko look at Motoki and Reika amusingly.
Motoki: When I first heard the news, I thought you were only kidding, especially when you told me Usagi-san’s boyfriend is Seiya Kou-san. Now…how…how did this happen? What happened?
Mamoru: Motoki, Reika-san, Usagi-san and I separated for good. We aren’t as suitable to each other as we thought. At the beginning, we were so deeply in love that we were willing to abide each other. But as the time goes by, we found it became much and much more difficult to do so. That’s why we broke up. But we’re still friends. Actually, we understand each other more after we separated. We don’t hide anything from or change anything for Chiyoko and Seiya-kun. We can just be ourselves. We feel free, relax, and comfortable with them.
Motoki and Reika look at the smiling faces of Mamoru and Chiyoko and their holding hands, and they exhale.
Reika (smiling): Well, it’s good for you, the four of you.
Motoki (nodding): Yeah, yeah. Good luck to you.
Mamoru (smiling): Thank you. Well, now we’ve made clear of everything. Let’s go downstairs and play some games. What do you think?
When they go down, the inners, Taiki, Yaten, Graces, Luna, and Artemis have come. Only the outers are missing. Usagi’s playing a shooting game, Seiya’s helping her to focus by holding her from her back, and the others are surrounding them.
Chiyoko: This new game seems interesting.
Usagi (excitedly): Woo! This is great! Chiyoko, you should try this!
Seiya squeezes her to get her attention back to the game.
Seiya: Focus please, if you don’t want to loss.
Usagi: It’s ok. You have helped me playing for so long. Let the others play.
Usagi puts down the game and grabs Seiya with her to another game. Everyone is playing around happily. Meanwhile, Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, Hotaru, and Victoria are walking to the game center with Hotaru and Victoria hand in hand in the front and the other three following them.
Victory: I’m sorry. It’s all my fault that we’re late.
Hotaru (smiling): No, no, not at all. Don’t worry about it.
Michiru: Well, here we are.
They walk in the front door and Haruka frowns immediately. Seiya’s teaching the girls how to play the shooting game. The ones who aren’t joining are: Ami and Taiki, who are just looking; Minako, who is trying to get Yaten’s attention by talking to him; Naru and Umino, who have left; Chiyoko and Usagi, who are competing on a car racing game; and Mamoru, Motoki, and Reika, who are talking aside. But it seems Haruka’s the only one unhappy. Michiru, Setsuna, Hotaru, and even Victoria join the others merrily immediately. Haruka walks to Usagi and Chiyoko.
Haruka: May I join you two, kittens?
Usagi (seriously): No, you can’t, because you’re too good at this.
Haruka is shocked a little bit. Usagi and Chiyoko giggle.
Usagi (smiling): No, I was just kidding. You’re always welcome.
They put on the visual reality helmets and start their game. They’re yelling while they are competing, which gets their loved ones’ attention. They walk there and see what they’re doing. Soon, the players take off their helmets, game over.
Usagi: Woo! It was great!
Haruka: Yeah, both of you ride really well, especially Chiyoko-chan. I didn’t know you’re so great, even though it’s just a game. I thought you weren’t interested in sports and games at all.
Chiyoko: Well, I’m interested in many things, actually almost everything. Although I’m not as crazy about sports as you, Keiko-chan, or Akiko-chan, I love to exercise. Besides, my father is a sports lover, including car racing. I take after his interests, although I’m not very good at sports.
Haruka (smiling): Actually, you’re not bad, not bad at all, both of you.
Seiya and Mamoru hold Usagi and Chiyoko respectively from their back.
Seiya (to Usagi): Would you want us to try a round?
Usagi (nods smilingly): Sure.
Haruka (coldly): Oh, you still remember she’s here? I thought you’ve forgotten her already.
Seiya (frowning): WHAT IS THAT supposed to mean?
Haruka: You know what I mean. You left Usagi-chan here and went to play with the other girls. You…
Usagi: Haruka-san! Haruka-san! Calm down! I’m not a baby. I don’t need to be taken care all the time. (Puts her hands on Chiyoko’s shoulders.) I needed time to spend with my little sister anyways. Seiya’s good at the shooting game. I asked him to help my friends with it. There’s nothing wrong with it, right?
Chiyoko, Mamoru, and Michiru start clapping, Seiya gives Usagi a big kiss on her cheek right away and Usagi smiles sweetly with a little blush, and Haruka is so surprised by Usagi’s words that she can just sit there with wide eyes and can’t do anything else.
Michiru (to Usagi): You really trust Seiya. (Teasingly to Haruka,) SOMEONE should learn from her. Don’t you think, Haruka-san?
The two couples laugh and Haruka is embarrassed.
Chiyoko: All right, Michiru-san, don’t be so hard on her. Besides, easier said than done. You may want to take that back one day.
Seiya: So, are we still on?
Usagi (confused): On what?
Seiya (sweat-drops and sighs): On the racing game, Odango.
Usagi (nodding): Of course, of course, I’d love to. Are you guys joining? There’re two more seats.
Michiru (shakes her head): You know I’m not good at this.
Mamoru: Don’t mind me. I just came here to check Chiyoko out. I’m going back to talk with Motoki.
Seiya (aggressing): How about you, Haruka-san? Do you accept my challenge?
Haruka (mockingly): Sure. You’re going to lose. I tell you that.
Seiya (mockingly): Oh, yeah? Let’s see.
Chiyoko: Guys! Guys! Let’s just play.
Haruka: Oh, before we begin. I’m going to have my car racing practice tomorrow. I’d like you guys to come and see, especially Chiyoko-chan, who got me the chance to be a formula one driver, even though I’m not one yet. Could you guys make it?
Usagi and Chiyoko (overlapping): Sure. Sure.
Mamoru: I’m sorry but I’ve got something else to do tomorrow. I’m afraid I can’t make it.
Haruka: That’s ok.
Usagi: May I bring Seiya-chan along?
Haruka (frowning): Why do you always want to bring him along everywhere?
Seiya (mockingly): Are you worried you’ll lose if I go and race a car with you?
Haruka: Oh yeah? …
The others look at the two arguing childish kids and have sweat-drops.
[CM Break]
Nicole turns a chrysanthemum into a girl who has brown short hair and eyes and is wearing white bikini with yellow ribbons around her body.
Nicole (coldly): Chrysanthemum, don’t waste my time. Go to Earth and bring me back Prince Eric! I hate to wait any longer!
Chrysanthemum (bowing): Yes, your highness.
Silver Ferrari is running like a shooting arrow. Soon it arrives at the parking lot and stops right in front of Haruka and Michiru. Seiya, Usagi, and Chiyoko jump out.
Haruka (frowning): Seiya-kun, are you aggressing me?
Seiya (coldly): What? Are you afraid?
Haruka (sniffily): H’m, we’ll see who’s the one going to be afraid.
Chiyoko: Guys! Guys! Please behave. Haruka-san, are the others here yet?
Haruka: No, you’re the first.
Usagi: Actually, I’m not sure who are coming?
Michiru: Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Makoto-chan, Minako-chan, Yuko-chan, Keiko-chan, Akiko-chan, Taiki-kun, and Yaten-kun are all coming.
Chiyoko (smiling impliedly to Michiru): I trust that YOU invited Taiki-kun and Yaten-kun. Am I right?
Michiru (smiling): You know Haruka and I too well, Chiyoko-chan.
Everyone but Haruka chuckles.
Usagi (excitedly): So why don’t we try a round first?
Haruka: All right, but since you guys are not professional drivers, you have to do the karting, i.e. racing the simulative ones, instead of the real stock car racing. Is that ok with you?
Chiyoko and Usagi (nodding): Sure. Sure.
Haruka leads them to a field and helps Usagi and Chiyoko get ready.
Haruka: This field is for beginners, so you can, and you should, ride slowly.
Chiyoko: Aren’t you going to join us, Michiru-san?
Usagi: Yeah, it’s going to be fun.
Michiru (shakes her head): You know I’m not good at this.
Usagi: Neither are we. But you should at least try it, don’t you think?
Michiru: But I’m wearing a dress today.
Chiyoko: I can see that, and I knew it. Here. I’ve got sportswear for you in my sports bag. Take it and go to change it. Then have fun with us.
Michiru (smiling): Thank you. I’ll be back soon. You guys may start first. I’ll join you later.
Usagi: Ok, we will.
Michiru leaves. Usagi and Chiyoko start. They manage pretty well. At least Usagi doesn’t crash. (VERY LUCKILY, don’t you think?) Then Michiru joins them too. Although they’re not good at it, they’re having fun.
Seiya (aggressing): So, should we start our competition?
Haruka (mockingly): Sure, see how I beat you.
Seiya (mockingly): H’m, let’s wait and see.
They get into the real stock cars and start their little competition. They drive their cars liking two shooting arrows, one blue and white (Haruka’s car), and one red and white (Seiya’s car). The others have come and stand there watching them competing. Then Usagi, Chiyoko, and Michiru stand beside them and have a resting drink.
Usagi: On boy, I’m so tired! Why are they still riding? Aren’t they tired?
Chiyoko: You wouldn’t if you were sports addicts like those two.
Everyone chuckles.
Minako (excitedly): So, should we try a round ourselves?
Makoto (amusingly): Do you know how to ride those things?
Minako (gloomily): No, I don’t.
Yaten (sniffily): Stupid!
Taiki (frowning): Yaten!
Minako is hurt, but she controls herself, and manages herself to give a slight smile.
Minako (smiling bitterly): It’s ok.
Yaten opens his mouth and tries to say something, but he eventually doesn’t.
Usagi (yelling): Way to go, Seiya-chan!
Everyone has sweat-drops. But Usagi’s yelling drags everyone’s attention away from the embarrassing moment.
Makoto: Usagi-chan, would you be a little elegant and refined once at least?
Rei (teasingly): In another word, please behave like a girl at least once on your life.
Usagi: Hey… Oh, Seiya-chan wins! Oh…(starts running away).
Chiyoko (pulls Usagi back): Remember, Haruka-san is your friend.
Usagi: Ok, ok. What do you think I am, an idiot?
Everyone has a “of course” look, but Usagi can’t see it because she has run away already. In order to get to Seiya from the ground stand, she has to run around to the back first, and then few stairs, and then back to the front. When she’s running to the back, Chrysanthemum appears suddenly, and releases her ribbons.
Chrysanthemum: Give me your Crystal or you die!
Uranus: World Shaking!
Fighter: Love Crystal Divine Light!
Chrysanthemum is injured.
Usagi: Thanks, Sailor Cosmos Fighter, and Sailor Uranus.
Haruka (smiling): Don’t mention it!
Fighter: Are you forgetting something, Odango?
Usagi (gets her transformation pin quickly): Oh yes! Oh yes!
Fighter and Uranus are sweat-dropped.
Usagi: Moon Universal Crystal Power, make up!
Chrysanthemum: Who are you?
Moon: For love and hope…
Suddenly, Sailormoon Cosmos Protector shows up as well.
Protector (smiling): Hey, how could you start without me?
Moon (smiles to Protector): Protector!
Protector: the sailor-suited pretty soldiers…
Moon: Sailor Cosmos Moon!
Protector: Sailor Cosmos Protector!
Together: In the name of the universe, we’ll punish you!
Moon and Protector: Fighter, Uranus, help us!
Uranus: World Shaking!
Fighter: Love Crystal Divine Light!
Protector: Hope Crystal Divine Light!
Moon: Hope Crystal Eternal Light!
Chrysanthemum is destroyed.
Uranus: Like I said, these babes are not very strong. What are they really up to?
Protector and Fighter exchange a glance. Later, the boys and girls congratulate Seiya.
Haruka (sniffily): He was just lucky. That’s all.
Seiya: No, it’s because you underestimated me. It’ll become your weak point if you keep doing like that. Your biggest enemy is yourself. There’s no one’s fault.
Haruka looks at Seiya for a minute and puts up her right hand to Seiya. Seiya is surprised and so does everybody else. Then they shake their hands.
Haruka (coldly): Thank you. (They release hands.) But next time, I’m going to win.
Seiya (mockingly): Oh yeah? We’ll see.
Everyone else has sweat-drops.
Chiyoko (smiling): Something never changes.
Everyone nods continually with sweat-drops, looking those arguing two.
Chrysanthemum has many different colors (e.g. red, white, yellow, etc) with different shades. The general meaning of it is “you're a wonderful friend” and “cheerfulness”. And different colors of chrysanthemum have their own meaning as well. For instance, red chrysanthemum means “love”, white chrysanthemum means “truth”, yellow chrysanthemum means “slighted love”, etc.
So, what do you think of it? I finally stopped those boring episodes. Those seemed not related to Seiya and Usagi episodes are finally over. Happy, huh? Well, there’s not much about this episode that I need to tell you guys here. Basically it’s just an episode about the special “friendship” between Seiya and Haruka. Nothing’s special. I always think it’s kind of interesting between those two. And I did write this episode very happily. It’s fun to write, and I hope it’s fun to read too. ^_^ Anyway, next one, 223, and 224, are going to be a big crisis between the two couples! Wait for it!
