Four inners, Chiyoko, and Usagi are having drinks at the Crown. The other girls are looking at Usagi strangely because…
Rei:Usagi!
Usagi (awakening):What?
Rei:What? Your face has changed so many times in the last minute: first blushed, then you sighed, smiled sweetly, and covered your red cheek with your hands. Are you having lovesickness? But Seiya is in town…I know! You met another boy? Hmm, I’m going to tell Seiya!
Usagi (blushed):Of course not! It’s just…It’s just…
Rei (smiling teasingly):It’s just what?
Chiyoko:She has been like this since last night she came back from a date with Seiya. She went to my room and talked about him all night. She had giggled while sleeping and almost made me awake the whole night.
The girls are even more curious to know what’s going on.
Ami:What is it, Usagi-chan?
Usagi (blushing):Actually, Seiya-chan told me that they are going to have a concert on my birthday. He wrote some new songs for me that would be sung in the concert. He invites all of us to go.
[Title Screen]
Two couples are at the airport around the arrival. They are looking at the board showing the arrival schedule. Seiya is wearing sunglasses so no one can notice him.
Usagi (disappointed):The plane’s delay.
Seiya:Come on, Odango. I’ll buy you some ice cream, ok?
Usagi (eyes light up excitedly):Really?
Usagi pulls Seiya away before he could say a word. Seiya gives Chiyoko and Mamoru a funny face before they leave. They smile back and Chiyoko waves her hand.
Chiyoko:He really knows her.
Mamoru (chuckles):You’re right.
Chiyoko:Shall we go with them to have some ice cream?
Mamoru:No, leave them alone. We can go somewhere else.
Seiya and Usagi are having ice cream in a VIP room alone.
Usagi (surprised):You mean I’m your first love? It’s hard for me to believe it.
Seiya (a little blushed):I’m serious.
Usagi (holding his hand with a smile):I know.
Then Usagi kisses Seiya.
Usagi:Seiya-chan, I know you don’t tell me something sometimes because you don’t want to upset me, but I’d like you to know I’d prefer we share everything, ok?
Seiya is shocked and embarrassed to hear that. He’s thinking: does she know?
Usagi (smiling):It’s ok, Seiya-chan. I shouldn’t say something so embarrassing. I trust you. You’ll only do the best for me.
Seiya (smiling):Odango, I promise you that we’ll share joys and sorrows, weal and woe together. I won’t keep a secret from you, ok?
Usagi:That’s good enough for me.
Usagi continues on her ice cream.
Seiya (hesitating):Odango…well…um…
Usagi (head up):Huh?
Seiya (hesitating):Odango, um…
Suddenly, there is a knock on the door. Seiya sighs and pulls himself together.
Seiya:Who is it?
Male Voice:Seiya Kou-san, the plane you are waiting for has arrived for 15 minutes. The passages are coming out very soon.
Seiya:(loudly to the man outside,) thank you. (To Usagi,) let’s go, Odango.
The two couples are standing around arrival again.
Usagi:Where are they? I can’t see them.
Chiyoko:Patience. Usagi-chan. Patience.
Usagi:Hey, there they are! Mom! Dad!
Usagi jumps to hug her parents. The other three go behind her.
Shingo:Hi! Stupid Usagi! You forgot about me?
Usagi puts out her tongue and makes a funny face. Everyone wears a smile.
Seiya, Chiyoko, Mamoru:Kenji-san, Aunt-san, Shingo-san, how are you doing?
Kenji, Ikuko, Shingo (smiling):We’re fine.
Chiyoko:Aren’t my parents coming with you?
Ikuko:Yes, they are, but we don’t know where they are. You know we are holding Japanese passports but they are holding USA passports. It’s faster for us to get out.
They look around and try to find them. Mamoru sees them first and he pats Chiyoko.
Mamoru:Chiyoko-chan, there they are.
Chiyoko’s parents come out. Chiyoko smiles and hugs her parents. Then she introduces her friends and her parents to each other.
Chiyoko:My dad, Akira, my mom, Chika. This is Usagi-chan. This is her boyfriend, Seiya-kun. And this is Mamoru-chan.
Chiyoko’s parents are Japanese actually.
Her dad has brown short hair and blue eyes. He is wearing glasses and a
suit. He looks exactly like a successful businessman. Chiyoko’s mother
is a beautiful woman who has blond curving hair pulled
up into a ponytail that falls to the middle of her back. She looks very
bright and agile.
Usagi (surprised):Chika-san, you look really young.
Chika (smiling):I’m not young anymore. I’m going to be 37 soon.
Everybody laughs.
Seiya (smiling):Do you want to stand here and talk? I start to worry about being recognized. Let’s get into our cars before we continue on our little talk, shall we?
Usagi’s family are going with Seiya and Usagi in Seiya’s car, and the rest are going with Mamoru’s car.
Usagi (excited):Mom, dad, Seiya-chan is going to have a concert on my birthday. Would you come too?
Ikuko (smiling):Of course.
Usagi:Could you get some seats for them, Seiya-chan?
Seiya:They have VIP seats reserved, like you guys.
Usagi (excited):Thanks, Seiya-chan.
Usagi kisses Seiya’s cheek and he’s blushed.
Shingo:Hey guys! We’re still here, you know?
Usagi (shrugs):I don’t care.
Ikuko holds Kenji’s hand and smiles to him. Meanwhile, Nicole’s standing in the dark and four pretty girls are standing face to her.
Nicole:Ivy, Myrtle, Stephanotis, Tulip, you have to bring me back Prince Eric and Princess Irene. I’m very tired of failures. You got that?
Four girls:Yes, your highness.
After they left, Nicole changes from a strong woman to a sad girl.
Nicole (thinking):Eric, I really miss you.
Meanwhile, in the outer’s house.
Haruka (shouting):I’m not going to their concert!
Michiru:I thought you said you have changed your mind to like them already.
Haruka:No way! I don’t like them. I don’t like them at all, especially Seiya-kun.
Chiyoko and Usagi brought the tickets of the Three Lights concert to the four outers. Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru seem happy to go but Haruka doesn’t.
Chiyoko:But Seiya asked us to have to convince you all to come.
Haruka:Then how come he doesn’t come to ask us himself?
Usagi:Seiya-chan is very busy on the rehearsals. He really can’t come. Please, Haruka-san, please come, for my sake.
Usagi and Chiyoko look at Haruka very sincerely.
Haruka (sighs):Oh all right, I’ll go.
Usagi and Chiyoko (excitedly):Thank you very much, Haruka-san.
Michiru:Speaking of busyness, I haven’t seen Mamoru-san for a while.
Chiyoko:I’m not sure exactly what he’s busy at but he told me that he’s working on a research paper and working as an intern at a hospital at the same time.
Usagi (smiling teasingly):Be careful, Chiyoko. Somebody may be trying to steal him away from you.
Chiyoko:Oh? It sounds like you have many experiences.
Everyone laughs.
[CM Break]
Tonight is the concert, and Usagi’s birthday. Usagi is holding a bouquet of red roses and sitting in her seat. She’s smiling and chatting with all the people around her: her friends, her family, and Chiyoko’s parents.
Chiyoko:Usagi-chan, I’m really sorry about Mamoru-chan not coming. He’s really busy on his work at the hospital. He’s going to help a doctor in a surgery tonight.
Usagi:That’s ok. He’s always busy.
Then the lights are turned off slowly and the lilt starts. Everyone is shouting Three Lights’ names when the Three Lights are arising at the middle of the stage. Seiya is smiling looking at Usagi’s direction. Usagi waves her hands and holds up her flowers.
Usagi (mouthing):Thanks for the roses. I love you, Seiya-chan.
Seiya nods and winks. Then the Three Lights start to sing and everyone is quiet.
Ah…
Seiya:

music starts again. This time it’s a fast one.

Four flowers (suddenly):Here’s our turn for entertainment.
Four flowers appear and let go of their ribbons to the audiences, who turn into unconscious immediately, including Chiyoko and Usagi’s families. Luckily, all girls and Three Lights transform into sailors immediately. All sailors use their attacks but since the flowers are moving too fast so they’re not hurt at all. When everybody is thinking: what shall we do? Suddenly, a power like last time appears and hurts the four flowers.
Four Flowers:Oh, no!
Haruka:Sailormoon, Protector, Fighter, NOW!!!
They use their attacks and the four flowers are destroyed. They then de-transform.
Michiru:I’m sure there must be somebody helped us. Who were they?
Seiya:Let’s talk about this later. We still have something important to do – people are staring to wake up.
After the audiences woke up, the concert continues.
Seiya:Here’s a song I’d sing with a friend of ours. Everyone, Chiba Mamoru-san.
Usagi, Chiyoko, four inners, and four outers (surprised): What?
Usagi:Chiyoko-chan, I thought you said he’s not coming. And he didn’t show up…
Chiyoko (confused):He told me that. I don’t know…
The music starts and it’s a slow beat music.

The music is still playing. Two staffs bring them two bouquets of white roses.
Seiya:Mamoru-san’s girlfriend is my girlfriend’s sworn sister. Today is my girlfriend’s birthday. we’d like to ask for her hands here.
Seiya and Mamoru:Usagi-chan/Chiyoko-chan, would you marry me?
Everyone is shocked. Usagi and Chiyoko have tears in their eyes. Seiya and Mamoru go to the girls. The other two Lights follow them. Seiya and Mamoru give Usagi and Chiyoko the rings, the same ones the boys are wearing. Usagi’s has a heart-shaded blue diamond and “Seiya” and “Usagi” engraved on it. Chiyoko’s has a heart-shaded ruby and “Mamoru” and “Chiyoko” engraved on it. The two girls are breathless. Then they nod their heads continually after they recovered.
Usagi and Chiyoko (crying):Yes! Yes!
Two girls jump into their true love’s arms. They hold each other tight and kiss. Everyone starts to recover and clap.
All (smiling):Congratulations!
Usagi:Mom, dad, do you think I’m too young to get married?
Kenji:No, actually, I had a deal with Seiya that if he could manage to be in college and a superstar at the same time, he could marry you.
Usagi (surprised):You knew about this?
Ikuko:Why do you think we came back, just for visiting you or doing business?
Chiyoko:Dad, mom, you think I can get married too?
Akira:Of course, you are more mature than your mom is.
Chika:Yeah, remember those times I argued with your dad and you taught me out of leaving?
Akira (blushed):Chika-chan!
Everyone laughs.
Usagi:Thanks, Seiya-chan, for everything. You’re so sweet.
Chiyoko:You too, Mamoru-chan.
The lovers stare at each other…kisses…everyone smiles.
First, I’d like to apologize for keeping you guys for waiting so long. Now you all know why I did that, huh? (LIAR!!!) OK! OK! I admit it! The truth is…I’m too busy with my exam and testes and homework – I was in the third year of university for god sake! (AND???) And…ok, I haven’t been completely honest with you. I have another hobby going on in my life – I think I mentioned it. It took me so much time that I kind of slowing this story down. Well, I’ll try my best to speed up next time. I promise! (Your credibility is going south!!!) Oh…sorry…=_=
Second, a friend of mine heard one of the reasons that I write the parts so slowly because I keep thinking the dresses of the flowers and waste a lot of time considering the suitable meaning of the flowers for each episode. She suggested that why don’t I just drop it. So in this chapter, there’s no more description of the dresses. But the meaning thing remains. I just don’t waste time type it here. I’ll organize and put those meanings on a table and put it on my page later.
Third, the songs in this chapter are NOT written by me. One of them is the ending song in Disney’s cartoon “Mulan”. The other two are Chinese (Cantonese) songs, which are translated by me. I hope I translated right. ^^;;
Finally, some Sailormoon’s fans sent me letter complaining about why I put Seiya and Usagi together. Why I put Chibi-Usa to dead? Why I ignore the true love between Usagi and Mamoru? Well, first I wonder why a Mamoru’s fan will go read a fanfic written by a Seiya’s fan? They should know they would not be satisfied, right? I should consider adding a banner on the front page of my homepage saying “NO MAMORU FANS”. Second, I didn’t and never said Chibi-Usa was dead. Did I? Last but not least, I didn’t ignore the true love between Usagi and Mamoru. Those lines in the story are LINES, speaking by the characters. They have deeper meanings. For example, Usagi said something about her love to Mamoru was different from Seiya and so on. She might think that way. She might actually felt that way. But the reason for that was – this might happen to every girl – she was with Mamoru and is with Seiya now – in my story. When a girl is with a boy, everything is perfect – the boy is perfect, the environment is perfect, even the air smell fresher. But when her heart is longer with him, she’ll think of every reason she can to think she did a right thing. The good thing on the boy may become a bad thing now. IF THIS STILL CANNOT CONVINCE YOU, try this: in the real story, Usagi and Mamoru are together. Now I, and every other Seiya’s fanfic writers, are just writing fanfics to comfort ourselves. Why don’t you leave us a room to dream?
