    Part One: Regretful Tears

   Usagi and Mamoru walked together in the park one evening. It was getting
late, and the moon was rising. Usagi smiled to herself, looking at it. She
thought of her beautiful future ahead of her. The moon also reminded her of
one shooting star, Kou Seiya, whom she had once been friends with. She only
realized that she actually did love him when he was already gone, to make a
new home with his/her princess. Seiya was really Sailor Star Fighter, and
helped Usagi when she was in trouble. Usagi had been glad to get Mamoru back
though.. Mamoru had been studying abroad in America for a second time, and
finally was home with her.  Usagi was finally 18, and of marrying age. Usagi
looked up to Mamoru, smiling. Mamoru didn't seem to notice.
   "Usako..," he said suddenly.
   "Hai?" Usagi wondered.
   "There is something I need to tell you. "
   "Of course, Mamo-chan!"
   "I hope you understand," he said, sounding sort of cold. "Sometimes you have
trouble with that," he muttered softly.
   "Nani, Mamo-chan..?"
   "Usako, when I was in America, I met a girl."
   "Mamo-chan..?" usagi asked, sound a bit fearful.
   "She's very smart, beautiful, and my age. "
Usagi stared at him, horror struck. Mamoru continued.
   "You don't live up to any of those qualities anymore."
   "Mamo-chan!" usagi cried.
   "I'm going to America to marry her. You are too young and childish for me.
I'll be leaving next month and returning next year with my new wife. We're
living just outside Tokyo. We'd prefer if you didn't bother us."
Tears started to fall steadily down Usagi's cheeks.
   "Mamo-chan.." she said shakily."How could you..? What about OUR future..? And
Chibiusa-chan!"
   "I don't care about you OR that little brat!" Mamoru shouted.
Usagi's tears fogged up her vision. She couldn't speak.
   "I'm leaving you, Usagi. " Mamoru said, and he took the pink heart ring off
usagi's finger. "I'll be needing this," he said coldly. "Goodbye, Usagi. "
With that, he turned and left.
Usagi fell to her knees and started crying loudly. She was left alone in the
dark.
   "Mamo-chan..." she wept.
Then, a brilliant ruby light could be seen in the sky. It shot towards earth
like a shooting star. It was small, and seemed to land somewhere in the park.
Usagi looked up from her hands, towards the dark trees where the strange
"light" landed.She stood up. She saw a tall shadowed figure coming towards
her, with long hair tied back in a pony tail. The figure emerged, and Usagi
gasped.  "Seiya..."
