ROTU UUM was founded on the1st of May 1984. The first HQ was located in the Bukit Pinang Camp, in Kedah. The current HQ is located in UUM Sintok's campus. Up till now ROTU UUM has produced the amount of 1035 commisioned officers. |

ROTU UUM is currently the only educational institution that recruits, nurtures & produces all three main elements of the Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (Malaysian Armed Forces). Those are the army, airforce squadron and navy. |
