Anime? Yeah I really like that. SO... I started to draw my own series and characters. I haven't really gotten through an entire "series" or storyline yet... I usually juss start the character designs and then... Yeah I forget about them! =) That's a bad thing because I really want to write my own manga or something someday. Oh well. I will! I think. The series I've spent the longest time on is the one which includes Mikage and James. I actually started a manga... but it started to look a little too much like Fushigi Yuugi (Yuu Watase) for my comfort. That sucks that some of my work is somewhat influenced by some anime or manga series I've been introduced to.
I've gone from doing great shading jobs to just really light sketches. Usually I draw the light sketched first and then I go for the more detailed look by drawing over it, but I sometimes forget about the piece or I don't like how it turned out... and I tend to drop some. I'm still not sure if I'll include unfinished works up here... maybe I'll just put some up to show how my work process is. Anyway... here are just some of my original pieces of anime/manga artwork!   Character design for some girl, I haven't named her yet. I started off with a ink drawing (that looks rather messed up) and I moved on to some pencil sketches of front, back, side (sort of) and close ups of her face. Also some weird object designs... I haven't figured out what they do yet. lol.
• Demon Goat Girl
  This is Demon Goat Girl! (She's wearing her Christmas costume) In her lap is a mini (doll?) version of my friend Kolin. Hehe, Kai loved this picture, but it really scared my friend Paul!! In fact, he said "That's messed up... u don't see me draw my friends into dolls!" Oh well ^^'

  I haven't named this character yet... she's actually kind of old. (well not age-wise, but I've drawn her a while ago) She is from the same storyline as Mikage and James.
• Sakura Omoi
  Sakura started off as a sort of competition between me and Kolin. I think she was created during 6th period lunch sophomore year... She started off as a sketch he made, then I redrew it, then he redrew it, then... yeah u get the idea, ne? hehehe.

  This is a rather messed up picture... Not only is it incomplete but I had screwed up the kanji in the lil energy ball she's holding. I accidentally added an extra line... bleh. (I blame that on the table shaking!!) I still don't have a name for her yet because a suggestion by my friend Paulie (he's in Germany now) was to name her Sakura! Too many Sakura characters...

  I have no idea where I dug this picture up, it was originally drawn... in Freshman year? maybe. (that was 2-3 years ago) I think she as sorta influenced by what's her face from Ranma 1/2 hehehe.

Tenjou Utena The title image was created from a character design layout for Lodoss Island. The dragon was "little dragon" from the short cartoon at the end of the Lodoss TV series.
