Ranma-chan, as what 'she' might have looked like at age of 7?
Hi, I am Alix, I am a computer science graduate student at UofA and also a software developer for a mail-processing company in Tucson, AZ, where a 90F daytime temperature is considered cool in the summer. However, since I work inside with computers all day, I am almost always freezing.
So what do I like to do in my free time? Let's see, I love Ranma 1/2, reading (Eastern philosophy, fantasy, biography, and just about anything, yes, even fashion magazines), jogging, most outdoors activities (hiking, paintball, caving, camping, etc), good food, especially the spicy vegetarian ethnic kind, computer games, Japanese anime, and travel (I need to do more of that!).
What would I like to do in the future? I would love to travel more, perhaps backpacking through Europe, or going with a Smithsonian's tour package! One day I would like to adopt wild horses and greyhounds. By the way, if you would like to find out more about how greyhound racing industry results in the death of 20,000 to 30,000 young greyhounds per year, please visit
My interest in Ranma 1/2 started after I was introduced to it in '97 (yes, poor me, missing all those years of Ranma 1/2 fun). Though I haven't read any Ranma 1/2 mangas yet, I have watched nearly all of the Ranma 1/2 videos and I love them all because they always make me laugh. One reason I think that Ranma 1/2 is so popular is that the story is so irresitably funny and unique and the characters are so endearing, and we see part of ourselves reflected in the stories of their lives (well, not the part about turning into female upon being splashed with cold water...).
