Also known as Hino Rei - First appeared in Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon manga 1 and Sailormoon episode 10.

When Serena and Ami first meet Rei, she mistakenly placed an anti-evil sign on Serena's forehead, knocking her down.
Rei thought that Serena was the evil presence she was sensing at the Cherry Hill Temple.
She says that she "gets these visions in her head" about stuff like that (evil and the future).
Many people are blaming the loss of thier children on the temple because before they dissappered
they went to the temple to buy a charm and that the bus they took vanished without a trace.
Later we learn that Jedite (posing as Jed at the temple) uses the charms he sells to brainwash
the buyers into taking a bus driven by one of his minions to the Nega-Verse to gather their energy.
Rei uses the fire to find out that Jed is the one behind the missing girls, but when she confronts Jedite he sends her to the Nega-Verse.
There she, Luna, and Serena (who came in on a bus) meet up and Luna tells Rei to use the transformation stick she found at the temple.
She turns into Sailor Mars and defeats the evil bus driver using her Mars Fireball attack.
With the help of Sailor Mercury's transformation stick they get out of the Nega-Verse
along with the missing busloads of girls driven by Tuxedo Mask (From "An Uncharmed Life").
Rei doesn't take well to Serena's whining, clumsiness, eating habits, lateness, unreliability,
or her motormouth which causes hilarious friction between the two.
Sailor Mars uses her anti-evil charms to paralyze enemies
untill Sailor Moon can do away with them.
Rei is concidered a "Queen" at her school
& other students are happy to wait on her.
