Want to find nifty Sailor Moon stuff?
You want Sailor Moon stuff but don't think your town carries any? Maybe you're just looking in the wrong place. Here's a guide to finding Sailor Moon stuff where you live.
Comic Book Stores
This is the first place to check. They usually have anime, including Sailor Moon. I found a ton of stuff at some comic stores around where I live.
Hot Topic
It's a chain and they have Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and a little Dragon Ball Z. That's what they have in the store near me. Not sure if they have Sailor Moon stuff in every store.
Sam Goody
They have the videos and I found the Adevnture Dolls there. The Barbie-doll sized ones, not the 5-inch ones. They also had the soundtracks and shirts.
Ebay
A great place to find TONS of Sailor Moon, as well as other anime items. Draw back is, you have to be 18 to have an account. Either wait or have your parents bid.
Online
Be very cautious when shopping online, you don't know how valid the stores actually are. To solve this problem somewhat, I thought I'd put a small list together of places I have shopped for online stuff along with ratings. Most of these I got anime stuff from other series than Sailor Moon, though they do have Sailor Moon merchandise. Here they are:
House of Anime: This is the place I usually shop from. Very reliable and good selection
Anime Castle: Great selection and reasonably fast service.
Vengence of Excalibur: Excellent selection of manga. Not the fastest service, but you can trust them.
Anime Plus: I shopped there a long time ago. I don't remember much. The service wasn't bad, but I don't remember it being especially good.
Anime Palace: I have not shopped from them online, but at a convention, so I know they're a valid company at least
Amazon.com: A good standby American company. You can find authentic Japanese CDs as well as U.S. released anime items.
Anime Turnpike: Okay, so it's not an online store, but you can find quite a few online anime stores via their links. Many of the stores I shopped from were sponsors of Anime Turnpike and all turned out okay. That's a rule of thumb I used.
