Savage Fanfic Hunt
The results are in!

FINALLY! :) Well, during the course of the contest, many fanfics went off the Net, which affected the questions. To make it easier, I've added hints so that you'll get it right. I've received an entry from someone whose screenname begins with ICEY (not sure what's the rest of it) and she got all but one correct, but unfortunately she forgot to say which fanfic was her fave. So the winner goes out to the second-correct entry, which is...

EMILY BRAUN!!!

Congrats, Emily! You will get an email from me soon.

From all the entries I received (which were few :( ) the following fanfics were voted as their faves:

00SG : Mission Karl Rescue
With Or Without You
Bitterone's Pilot
A Thousand Words

Emily's, though, was a bit different. Besides being one of the better-answered entries, she also wins an *award* for Best Answer Of All:

Well...my favorite fanfic. This is a pretty tough question for me to answer. All the fanfics I have read are so unique and different. Some of them have made me cry, some laugh, some made think, some really grossed me out so I had to stop reading them. LOL. I dont think I am allowed to pick more than one, so I will have to go with "A Thousand Words" by Kirri Liepins. This was the first fanfic I had ever read. It completely took me by surprise, and amazed me beyond anything I had ever read. I cried on and off throughout the painfulness of the happenings in this story. The story was incredible and powerful, and I couldn't read anything else for a long time afterwards only because I would think about this so often, and it surpassed a lot of things I had read. (including real books published on shelves) It was all so very real to me, and it taught me a lot too. It taught me the important lesson of treasuring friends like gold, and keeping careful not to neglect them because you can lose them in an instant. After a time I started to read a few more fanfics. Some of them were very good, maybe as good as this one, maybe better, but no matter how great the story was, no matter how believable and moving and powerful 1000 words stayed with me, and I never forgot it. Even now I think of it a lot, when I have friend problems. It inspired me to write a fanfic of my own, well at least try, but its not nearly finished.

Ok I would still like to acknowledge the other fanfics that I really liked, and considered when answering this.
The Bitterones Pilot - Its not finished, but I REALLY love it, and can't wait to find the ending. Its well written, and Anya is an interesting person indeed.
With or Without You - God this made me cry, it was well written, and very romantic.
Buzzie, Beans for Dan and Swapped Souls (ed's note: YAY! *lol*) - All of them were very funny! I laughed soooo hard that I cried on some parts of them.

So many more I really loved, but I dont have the time to list them all down, I am trying to start e-mailing the authors after reading them so they know how special their story was. =) and I like giving compliments cause it makes people smile, and happy people make a better world.

Once again, congratulations...oh and to the others, don't fret, you did very well...try again soon! (if I decide to hold another Fanfic Hunt :) Now go and read those fanfics! :) 1
