* On the Australian vid for To The Moon And Back, Darren wears wristbands with spikes on them. When Channel [V] and TV3 Malaysia interviewed him recently, he had the exact same wristbands on.
* Darren has appeared on TV with the following hair colour : black, black with red streaks, ginger blonde, black with a blue streak (see the Crash And Burn music video), reddish blonde (I don't know why it's called blonde when it's red hair) with blond tips <- Darren's natural hair, blond with black streaks (Hold Me vid)
* There's an ad on Singapore TV for a bank which has someone typing out an email starting off with "Hello Darr" before they changed to another scene. I'm very sure they meant to type "Hello Darren".
* Savage Garden must have held the world record for "Most Music Videos Out Of An Album, Excluding Greatest Hits, Soundtracks, Remixes And Compilations". Here's the number of MVs that came out of debut album Savage Garden...

Performances
* At the showcase in Shah Alam (Jan 29th) Darren took off his leather coat to reveal a sleeveless shirt (which looked like it was spray-painted). As he took the coat off, part of his belly got exposed. :) (He covered it soon though!)
* On MTV's Live And Loud, Break Me Shake Me is the only other song (besides I Want You) Darren does standing up. It's also the only song which is done with a red set.
* You can see Daniel singing back-up on the chorus at the Channel [V] 1997 Music Awards performance of I Want You.
Other Strangeness
* Darren and Leonie seem to be in a bad mood when they were writing update #15.
* Savage Garden got their name from "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice. Anne Rice's novels have a character named Lestat. Look here - Lestat is a rock musician, so is Darren. (okay, so he doesn't do ROCK...but he's a musician nonetheless!) Lestat's records sold millions of copies, so has Darren's. Lestat is from San Francisco, Darren bought a house there. Even Darren's ICQ nick was Monsieur Lestat. Could he be Lestat in disguise??? :) (thanks Rick Dees for bringing that up!)
* Darren is really good when it comes to voice impressions.
* Okay, so this is only in my school, but we get some mid-term homework which included a question about a guy named Danial. I got a laugh and changed it to Daniel...the teacher never noticed :)
* Daniel has sported dark brown hair a bunch of times.
* Darren seems to be paired up with younger and younger girls :) First it was Natalie Portman...then he got smitten with Kirsten Dunst on the set of I Knew I Loved You...he got paired up with Mandy Moore at the 1999 Billboard Awards...on MTV recently he said he was obsessed with Britney Spears...who next? :)
* Both the movies Music From Another Room and The Other Sister has a Savage Garden song as part of their soundtrack. Both movies also have a lead male character named Danny. Hmm...
* In the book Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets, there's a character named Gilderoy Lockhart. According to the book, he has wavy blond hair and blue eyes. Daniel has the same things! He could play Lockhart easily!
