"Aaah...here we are, New York City. At last!", said Darren to Daniel as the plane touched down at JFK Airport, New York. This was their first time performing there, and they were very excited. Of course they had to do a lot of stuff - press conferences, meet-the-fans-sessions, etc. But they were already prepared for that. Together with their back-up band, they disembarked from the plane. When they arrived at the airport, they could see THOUSANDS of fans screaming at the airport door. Darren & Daniel gave them a smile and even shook hands with some of the fans. Then came the back-up band. All of them boarded a special 'Savage Garden' van and went to their hotel.
When they checked into the hotel, they were so excited to get to their hotel rooms, the lift was almost jammed! Some of them had to board another lift that came 15 minutes later! They eventually reached their rooms - all at floor #12A - the hotel had no floor #13.
The 2 back-up singers shared a room while each of the other bandmembers (excluding Darren & Daniel - they also shared a room) had their own room. Darren & Daniel's room had 2 beds, one of each of them. They were SO tired, EVERYONE fell asleep as soon at they reached their rooms (which was adjacent to each other) at the same time - 10.30 pm to the dot. No one bothered to change!
The next morning, Darren got up to an early start - as usual. He was headed to the bathroom when he noticed something strange in Daniel's bed. When he looked closely, he was shoked at what he saw. In Daniel's bed was.....
