HISTORY

She may be an Aquarius, but a lot of people thinks she has a strong Gemini ascendant hidden somewhere, because she seems to have two different personalities, highly different between each other.
Even when she's 15, Ameyali looks like 12. Normally, she is an extroverted girl, fun and boy-loving, but quite frequently she gives a impression to be extremely nervous. But she seemes to transform competely when she's over a diving springboard or platform.
She felt in love with diving at 4, when her father took her to watch the world-famous divers at "La Quebrada" in Acapulco, not a far trip from her native Zihuatanejo. A few months later she watched the Seoul Olympics on TV, and became completely sure to wish to practice that "game".
After learning to swim in a very short time, she displayed great skills for diving, but a real opportunity to practice it seriously seemed far, until her father was appointed as General Manager of a projected aquatic park at Naucalpan, where the family moved, and Ameyali had the chance to be accepted by a public athletic club. Now she can compete in official State meets, and is considered a prospect for the National Olympic Committee.
Ameyali has kept the same love for diving, and the walls of her room are covered with photos, magazine cuttings, photocopies and other memorabilia related to the most famed mexican divers in history, since Joaquín Capilla to Fernando Platas.
But Ameyali has a really weird fetish (if such is the right word): She has good taste for guys, but specially prefers those wearing glasses. Why it can be?

Her name, "Ameyali", is the nahuatl word for "water spring", while her Last Name "Alvarez" derivates from the male name "Alvaro", which means "The Disciplined".

POWERS

Tonantzin Atl, Ollin! (Our holy mother Water, Change!), Her Transformation: Holding her nahuiollin with both hands by the sides, she raises it as Milagros does on her own sequence. When the light cone is formed and she begins to shine, she slowly takes the amulet to its place over her chest, and then raises her arms to her sides, palms in front, and when they are 3/4 up she turns the palms and her face up, while a blowing wind vanishes the light, revealing her now completed fuku.

Teo Atlicholotl, Axcan! (Waterjump energy, now!): She can perform this attack in many ways, with water sources of many kinds, but basically she must clench her right fist to the water (it can be flowing or stopped), to create a water flow in the direction she "punches".

Atlancan, Axcan! (Place fulfilled with water, now!): Cicitl, Itzpapalotl's guardian, reminded Chalchiuhtlicue on this attack, useful when she isn't near a water source. She raises her right arm, moving her hand in circles to gather humidity in the air. When a ring of water has formed, she throws her fist exactly as in her "Teo Atlicholotl" attack. Its effects are quite similar.
