Tameme: Then, "no cihuanton", are you still having that nightmare? Milagros: Yes. I don't know why I must always think on that black knife, if I hardly ever have dreams. I'll do anything to know who is speaking to me! Tameme: I'm not. At least not yet... Milagros: Did you say something? Tameme: Arf! Arf! Voice: Why I always feel that you do something more than walking with your dog? =========================================== Yaocihuatl Coyolxauhqui's Codex Amoxtli Ce: The Long Way to Redemption. Amatl Chicuei (Chapter 8): The Man behind the Eagle. By: Mahtlactli Atl. ============================================ Milagros turned back, and then went running to hug... Milagros: LOLA!, I feel so happy! Are you OK? Dolores: Of course, and everything is thanks to your friend Malinalli. Did you know she visited me five times at hospital? Milagros: No, but that's all in her style. Right when they were in front of the school, a bus stopped right there. Many students left, and many of them immediately went to greet Dolores. Last, as usual, went down Malinalli. But surprising everybody, Dolores let her bag to Milagros, forgot everybody else and went to her. Dolores. Malinalli! Maly never expected such affection in public, and for a while she didn't know What to say. Malinalli: Ho-how... are you alright now? Dolores: Of course! Look at me! I'm like reborn!! (Then, she noticed the amazed looks from many of the other students) Something's wrong? A lot of sweatdrops arised, and then the others went into school. Dolores: (Blushing) I'm so sorry... Malinalli: You? What for? Dolores: I realice I had a lot to do to aisle you, but I wish we both can remain friends. Malinalli: (With wet eyes) Can you bet on it... Dolores: (Suddenly happy) Gosh, I almost forget it! (She takes Malinalli's elbow and leads her to Milagros) I have something for you! Malinalli and Milagros are so amazed that they forget to greet each other. Dolores takes her bag and takes out a shoebox. Dolores: Here. This is for you. Malinalli puts the box on the floor and opens it. There are a pair of shoes, exactly like those ripped by Coyolxauhqui's Yecapil when Dolores was posessed. She and Milagros are now really pale and sweatdroping. Dolores: Something's wrong? If you don't like them, I can change them... Malinalli: (Reacting and taking her stump behind her head) Eh? No-no-no, not at all! He, he, he! They're beautiful! It's just that... you see... (Milagros lifts one and looks at it in disbelief) they like a pair I had in my first days here. Dolores: Well, in fact (she blushes) at the beginning I thought it was the only valuable thing from you; I liked them a lot, but since you never took them to the hospital, I thought to give you a pair alike. But let's get into school, or we'll be late! (she enters running). A lot of seconds in silence. Both girls are freezed. Milagros: Ma-Maly?! Malinalli: Do-do you think she remembers something? Both turn the see each other, and both start laughing about the other's face. Right then, the schools guard interrupts them. Mr. Cruz: Ain't you both considering to miss classes, don't you? Milagros and Malinalli: (With funny terror faces) SCHOOOOOLL!!! Both of them enter like bullets to their respective classrooms. Later, we see Milagros, Malinalli and Tameme walking to the training field. Milagros: I see you're already using your new shoes. Malinalli: Yes, and they're really comfortable. żYou know? I was thinking... Milagros: żYeah? Malinalli: About this morning... Tameme: żWaht? Malinalli: i don't know... Probably unconciously she remembers something, even when probably it is just a dream for her... or maybe not even that... Tameme: I hope it's that way, because we'll not have to worry about it. While fewer people know about our mission, it'll be better. Milagros: And how many are we? Tameme: What?! Milagros: Yes, you know, how many ya... yao...? Tameme: Yaocihuameh? Milagros: Yes, that's it. How many are we? Tameme: Well, surely, surely, I don't know. I was too close to No Nantzin Coatlicue to know it for sure. I guess you were about nine, but at least seven must be together to face Tezcatlipoca. Malinalli: Seven? Why? Tameme: Because it is a good luck number. Both girls facefaulted. Dolores: (Shouting from the field) Mily! Hurry Up! Milagros: I'm coming! (To Malinalli) See you later. Milagros rushed to midfield, where the other girls of the team were sitted on the ground, surronding Bertha and Manuel. Manuel: OK, OK! Are Everybody here? Susana: Just two have not arrived yet, coach! Manuel: Alright. We can't waste more time. Girls, coach Bertha has something very important to tell you all. (To Bertha) Come on. (He leaves the player's circle). Bertha: (Clearing her throat) Well, girls. I know I don't have much time with you all, but I think we've done a good job. What do you think? Players: (In unison) YES, COACH!! Bertha: (Denying with her head) No, no, no! Nobody here will be sent to the bench or fired of the time for saying what REALLY thinks! So, feel completely free to be honest. We REALLY have done a good job? Players: (Louder and smiling) YES, COACH!! Bertha: I really thank you all, girls, because now is time to go from theory to practice. We have a game next saturday! A few seconds of silence. Bertha: (A little worried) Something's wrong? Dolores: Did... did you...? did you say a GAME???? Bertha: Yes, I know is too soon, but will be this saturday in Naucalpan, at nine 0'clock. Immediately all of the girls stood up, and began to cheer as if they have just won a championship, hugging each other and their coaches. Manuel: (Blowing his whistle) Alright, alright! Keep your energies for next saturday! We'll start jogging, so, anyone unfinished, get ready. LET'S GO! Some of the girls were to the stand to get ready, Milagros among them. She went with Malinalli, Tameme and... Milagros: Donají! Hi! What are you doing here? Donají: I just felt right here. I was talking with Malinalli about... Milagros: Did you heard what they say, Maly? Did you heard it? At last, we're gonna play!! Malinalli: Congratulations, Mily. Bertha: (Arriving to the group and getting her hands on Milagros' shoulders) I see you liked the good news very much. Milagros: Of course, coach! I have almost a year here, and I haven't played a real game yet! Bertha: I'm sure you'll enjoy this game more than you ever thought possible. And, Malinalli, my offer stands still. Malinalli: Thanks, but no. Bertha: Well, I still hope you accept before we're accepted in a league. I wait you in the field, Mily. Milagros: I'm ready, coach. (To Donají) Excuse me, what were you saying? Donají: No... it isn't so important. Go to practice, we'll talk about it later. Milagros: Uuuuuhhh! That's a mystery! See you soon! That day, practice was better done than normally. Even coaches hadto repeat fewer guidelines, because all of the girls seemed to understand immediately. After 90 minutes, Manuel blew his whistle again, signaling practice's end. Manuel: Very well, very well, Congratulations everybody! Sit down, please!! (All of the girls sit on the ground, and Manuel spoke seriously). Listen, girls. I want all of you to have perfectly clear that this game will be no easy at all. Our rival has a lot more of experience, even in league games. Chances are high that we can take an awful loss. And rememeber, that when difference is 50 points or higher, the game stops! So, if anyone thinks on leave the team if such thing happens, I preffer you do it right now... All of the girls remained sit and quiet. Bertha: OK, you all really impress me, chicks!, but I'll really congratulate all of yours who come back next monday. This saturday, each and everyone of you will really show how really interested are on flag football. Any question? A blonde and argentine-accented girl, raised her hand. Bertha: Yes, Romina? Romina: When will we get our uniforms? Suddenly, Bertha and Manuel faces shadowed. Manuel: (Blushing) Well, girl... ehem... you'll see... I convinced some of the guys to lend their jerseys. Of course, I'll also lend you mine... but... well... Dolores: What's wrong? Manuel: We can't even use the club's name. Many players: WHAT?? Bertha: That's right, and I'm sorry about it, girls. The club's presidium voted against us. Susana: (Standing in rage, and speaking sarcastically) Wait a minute! Let me guess!! Mr. García voted on our side, didn't he? (Both coaches accept) ...but, as expectable, "always sympathetical" Coach Cuevas voted against, Am I wrong? (Both coaches denied). And what the other members of presidium did? Bertha: It was a plenary assembly... well... it was 40 votes against us, 20 on our side. Manuel: (Ashamed) And the 20 families which voted for us, will lend the uniforms. Bertha: So, girls, each one of you must take your own shorts and stockings. They must be dark colored. All of the girls felt really upset. Some of them were really angry, and some others about to cry. Dolores: Come on, girls, easy! Milagros: Yeah, girls! If club's name has been denied to us, why don't we look for another one? Susana: Holy Inspiration, "Tuca"! I really love it!! I'm with you! Romina: Me too! Me too! Dolores: Well... I'm not so sure... Manuel: That's right. If we do it, maybe those who lent the jersey will turn back. Bertha: Wait, wait! I think it's a great idea! One of my coaches had a little team for a while, but it closed. I'll call him to see if he still has the jerseys, and tomorrow I'll tell you. Romina: If he has them, which color are? Bertha: Sky Blue. Romina: Sky blue! Great!, Why ain't we call us "gauchas"? Many girls sweatdroped. Milagros: Casualty, ain't you have a relative named Francisca? Romina: She's my cousin. Why? Milagros: Nooooo, nothing.... Susana: What about "Celestes" [Celestials]? Bertha: Wait. We have not voted yet if we'll drop the club's name. Susana: The assembly decided it for us!! Bertha: But we must recognize that many of the girls are here because they have brothers or relatives being part of the club, and they can feel like entering another team. A player (standing) That's my case, and I'm for a new name!. Bertha: OK, let's vote. All of you agree to not use the club's name, right hand up, please! 12 of the 14 players lifted their hand, as well as Bertha. Bertha: Against it? Manuel, Dolores and another girl raised their hand. Then all of them turned to Manuel, awaiting for his reaction. Manuel: Well, OK, we lost. How many vote for "Celestes"? All of the girls, except Romina, lifted their hand. Manuel: I'm sorry, Alberti, but I'm afraid this team already has a name! All of the girls araised and hugged, jumping and shouting "Celestes, Celestes!", until Manuel blew his whistle. Manuel: Alright, everybody home! See you all tomorrow!! Bertha: OK, hand right here everybody!! (All of the girls put their right hands over Bertha's) Ready?! ONE, TWO, THREE.... Team: ...CELESTES!!!! A little later, Milagros and her friends were walking to the avenue where Malinalli used to take her bus. Milagros: (Clacketing her shoes with a big smile) That's great, that's great!! Finally I'm gonna play!! Donají: Congratulations. Just then, Milagros noticed how serious Malinalli was walking. Milagros: Maly, what's wrong? Malinalli: (Sweatdroping) Eh? No, that's nothing! Donají: I'm afraid I have something to do with this. Milagros: (blinking) What do you say? Later, they were eating in a small restaurant. Donají: As I was saying to Malinalli at the stands, mi college mates gave me three tickets for a dance tomorrow night. Milagros: And what about it? Donají: I'd like dad you both may come with me. Milagros: Us?! Donají: Yes, why not? Milagros: (With a sarcastic smile) About you aren't very lucky with girls, don't you? Donají: Well, no... frankly not lately... Milagros: (Blushing) Sorry... Donají: But your friend don't want to come. Milagros: Maly? Malinalli just denied sadly, looking her stumps placed over her tights. Milagros: (Standing resolutely) OK! We'll go with you, only with two conditions! Donají and Malinalli looked at her. Donají: Which ones? Milagros: First, you must ask for permission to our families. Donají: Of course! Who do you think I am? Milagros: And secondly, you will dance with Malinalli all night long. Malinalli: What? Donají: Well... you both are not knew there... I was thinking to alternate with you both... Milagros: (Winking) Don't worry. I'm a very good dancer and I'll not spent much time without a partner. What do you think? Malinalli: Wait a minute. I cannot accept this! Milagros: Are you a bad dancer? Malinalli: No... yes... dancing, I can do it, but... Milagros: Then we all are agree!! Malinalli: Wait! If we both will go with him, the fair thing is that we both dance with him... Donají: (Sweatdropped) Come on, girls... Milagros: (Crossing her armas) Alright. Let's make it the first three songs. Donají & Malinalli: What? Milagros: Yes. You'll dance with Maly the first three dances, and if then she has another partner, then we both will dance. Alright? Donají: I think that's a very good idea. Milagros: Maly? (Malinalli agreed quietly) OK, we have a deal! What do you think if we go to my house? There you can ask for permission to my father and call Maly's uncle. Malinalli: We will not causing to many problems at your house? Milagros: Probably to "El Capea" yes, but I don't give a damn about it. May we go? Later, Milagros introduced Donají to her parents. Father: And how late do you think to bring my daughter back? Donají: Any time you want, sir. I'll bring my car, so it'll be no problem. Father: Well, I think 10 o'clock would be... Milagros: Daddy, please. It'll be "touch and go"! Let me just til midnight. Father: Sorry, but you have classes the next day. 10:30. Milagros: Come on, dad, don't be so square! He'll take right to the door. Half past eleven, please! Father: You'll surely take her right here? Donají: Of course, Sir. I'll not leave until she is inside this house. Father: OK, 11:30!! Milagros: (Kissing him) Thank you, Daddy! You're the best! Mother: Both you must promise you'll not be too tired to go to school thursday. OK? Milagros: I promise, mom! Thank you! Donají: Well, I must go, Mr. Tuchmetztli. I must take Malinalli home and ask permission to her family. So long. (To Malinalli) May we go? Malinalli: Alright. So long, Mr. Alvaro, Mrs. Tere. Mother: Goodbye, Malinalli. Send our greeting to your uncle. Milagros: I go with them to the bus stop. I'll be back. Walking to the bus stop, Donají left the girls behind. Malinalli: Mily, are sure about this? Milagros: About what? Malinalli smiled when she looked through Milagros' eyes. Malinalli: Don't worry. I promise you to do everything I can to meet a partner! Milagros: Hurry up! Donají has the bus stopped! Malinalli ran to the bus and climbed, helped by Donají. Milagros looked them going, happy to see her friend so happy, but deeply wishing to be able to dance with him. But that night, Milagros' recurrent nightmare had a lot of variations. This time she was able to look at herself running, wearing the typical tunic of aztec maids, with golden jewelry in wrists and ankles, and that weird jade jewerl over her nose. Suddenly she freezed, looking the obsidian-made knife slowly floating in front of her. Voice: Mi beloved girl, when will you stop to deny your destiny? Milagros: No, my destiny cannot be to kill my own mother. I'll not do it! Can you hear me? I won't!! Voice: I can hear you, darling, but that's not a choice. Another voice: Leave her alone, and fight me! Milagros turned back and saw the Eagle Cavalier, holding his arm and looking exhausted, but yet with determined eyes. Voice: I'm so sorry, but your cowardly age is over. This is wartime, and it belongs to ME!! When Milagros turned back, anything she can look mas a wave taking the cavalier. She was only able to see a hand on the water surface, going away. Milagros: Cavalier, Noooo!!! (Right then, one of her bracelets began to shine, and her hand moved to the knife, beating all her efforts to stop it) Stop! What are you doing? Hold it, please!! Voice: Don't worry, my beloved one. Me, the ever young one, will always be with you. Right then she grabbed the knife, and her hand began tu burn. Milagros: NNOOOO!! When she finished her shout. She found herself sitted on her bed, feeling a cold sweat and her hand burning. A little later, her mother entered her room, and sitted by her side. Mother: Once again that nightmare, sweetheart? Milagros: I think so, mom. Don't worry, and go to sleep. Mother: I cannot help to worry about you, honey. If this keeps happening, we'll have to go to the doctor. Milagros: (Forcing herself to smile) Can you imagine what Dad and Servando would say about it? Honestly, mom, I'm OK. Mother: O.K. Good night, darling. Mrs. Teresa went back to her room while, from the yard, Tameme looked to Milagros' window. Tameme: (To himself) I'm sorry, "no cihuanton", but only when you can redeem yourself, this nightmare will be over... for all of us... Next night, the trio arrived to the Dance Hall in a modest compact car. Many of the others greeted Donají, not without jokes on his two dance partners. Amid many pushings, they found a table at the end of the Hall. Donají: Well, may we start, Malinalli? Milagros: (pushing her gently) We have a deal. Don't you remember? Malinalli: Yeah, but... but... Milagros: Come on! I'll get myself a drink. See you soon. She went to a table attended by a young eyeglassed man, and found a girl standing right at the worst possible place. Milagros: Excu... excuse me... But the girl seemed like freezed. Just then, Milagros recognized her short green hair. Milagros: Ameyali? (She passes a hand in fornt of her heart-shaped eyes, but she doesn't moves a bit) Ame? (She points her ribs, but she didn't reacts. Milagros sweatdrops) Ame! (She shakes her shoulders, and Ameyali finally reacts). Ameyali: What-who-how? Milagros, what a surprise! (They both kiss each other) What are you doing here? Milagros: A friend invited Malinalli and me! Ameyali: Maly is here too? Great! Do you invite me to your table? Milagros: Of course!, but whom do you come with? Ameyali: He'll reach us. Hey! She began to make signals to a group of boys and, as expectable, the one with glasses answered her. Milagros: (While they walked to the table) Your friend's brother? Ameyali: He? No! I met this boy just outside here! I leave very near, you know? Milagros: (sweatdroped) ... After two melodies, the band called an intermission, used by the dancers to go to their respective tables. When Donají and Malinalli arrived, they found Ameyali and her partner talking to Milagros. Milagros: Maly, look who is here! Malinalli: Ameyali? What a surprise! (They kissed each other's cheek). Ameyali: Yeah! Here, this is my friend Sergio. Sergio (the guy with glasses): It's a pleasure (He shakes hands with Donají). Milagros: The pleasure is ours. Here, Ame, this is our friend Donají. When Donají shaked her hand, Ameyali felt something strange. Ameyali: Excuse me. Have we met before? Donají: I don´t think so, but as Milagros told me, you pracitce diving. My college is near the sports complex, so probably we've looked each other. Ameyali: That must be... After a few minutes, the band turned back to play, and Donají took Malinalli for their last melody, while Sergio headed Ameyali. Milagros looked at them, wishing for herself that this melody may pass soon and she can be able to dance with him, when she saw a red light flying into the Hall. Milagros: Oh, my... not here!! Right then, the light stroke on the band's vocalist. She closed her eyes and stop singing. Slowly opened them, and they were red. She made an incredibly high pitched noise, breaking bottles and glasses everywhere. People tried to cover their ears while trying to exit, but some of them fainted before reaching their goal. Milagros barely reached the women's bathroom. When she closed the door, the mirror crashed in pieces. Milagros: Oh my God!! Tameme: No cihuanton! Change up, hurry! Milagros: (After a high pitched shout) Damn dog, you scared me! What are you doing here? Tameme: How do you always make this question at the worst moment? Change now!! Milagros: You're right! (She takes the Nahuiollin, raises it, and allows it some moments to find the moon. When it stops, she opens her eyes and shouts) TO NANTZIN METZTLI, OLLIN! [Transformation sequence] At the Dance Hall, the only person standing was the singer, which smiled sinisterly looking to the fainted people. Coyolxauhqui: (Out of scene) How do you dare?! Singer: Who says so?? Coyolxauhqui: How can you hurt those who are just enjoying their youth? I´m Sailor Coyolxauhqui, and to reach mi redemption and protect the Macuiltonatiuh, I'll stop you! Cantante: That's what you think! AAAAHHHHH!! After a small convulsion, the black soul crystal flew from the woman's body, and form it flew a black cloud which took the form of a bird-woman. Demon: I'm Mictlatzintzontli, and my lord Mictlantecuhtli commands me to destroy you!! Right then, the demon shouted again, forcing Coyolxauhqui to cover her ears. Coyolxauhqui: HOLD IT, MY HEAD IS GOING TO EXPLODEEE...! (She knelts due to the headache, while the Demon laughed, holding her shout). Voice: HUIZMETMEH, AXCAN!! A thorn-shower flew on the Demon's side, forcing it to stop its shout in pain. Demon: Another "problem"? Mayahuel: I'm sorry, but I can let it be so easy. I'm Yaocihuatl Mayahuel, warrior of agave and nature, and I'll never allow you to hurt my friends!! Right when the Demon opened her mouth to shout again, a shout was heard... Voice: TEO ATLICHOLOTL, AXCAN!! ...And a mixture of beverages entered the mouth. The girls turned to where the liquid beam started, and they saw Chalchiuhtlicue, pointing with her clenched fist to the demon, smiling maliciously. When the liquor was finished, she exclaimed. Chalchiuhtlicue: I'm sorry, but my friends are not alone. I'm Atlacihuatl Chalchiuhtlicue, Warrior of Water, and I'll also stop you! Coyolxauhqui: Thank you, girls! Mayahuel: Did you say something? Coyolxauhqui: I SAID THANKS!! Chalchiuhtlicue: Sorry, we cant hear you!! Then, Coyolxauhqui noticed Mayahuel had her cotton pendants inside her ears, and small pieces of them were into Chalchiuhtlicue's ears. Demon: (Completely drunken) Don't -hic- don' ya thin' yu have beat'n me!-hic- I-I have shometing elshe to do! He, he -hic-! Then she began to flap her wings while spining, with problems at first, but faster each time until forming a tornado. The girls tried to hold of anything at hand. Chalchiuhtlicue: Hang on, Girls! Mayahuel: This wind is too hard! Coyolxauhqui: (About to ungrab the railing she was holding on) Help me!! I CAN'T HANG ANYMORE!! Mayahuel: Hang on, Coyolxauhqui!! Coyolxauhqui: I CAAAAN'T (She ungrabbed, and flew through the air) HEEEELP MEEE!! Chalchiuhtlicue: Coyolxauhqui!! But after a cuople of laps on the tornado, she was grabbed in mid air by somebody apparently very comfortable in the middle of that air, and he helped her to keep balance. Coyolxauhqui: What? (She turned to the person holding her, and she found...) Cavalier! Eagle Cavalier: Hang on harder. We must reach the center of this tornado! Coyolxauhqui: What do you mean?? But the Cavalier moved through the air as it was water, until touching the ceiling. Then he jumped where air was not spining, and they began to fall. Then, he shouted with all of his might, pointing his stick to the Demon's head: Cavalier: TEO TOQUIAEHECOATL, YE!! He sent his own wind blow to the Demon's head, which felt the hit like a hammer, and felt hardly to the ground. Obviously the tornado stopped, and the Eagle Cavalier stood on the Demon's back, holding Coyolxauhqui in his arms. Then he jumped, falling between Mayahuel and Chalchiuhtlicue. Cavalier: Well, this time will be easier for you. You must finish this Mictlacatecolotl, to bring the crystal back to the singer. Coyolxauhqui accepted with her head, grabbing the Nahuiollin and concentrating the energy. The Demon tried to stand, and was only able to say "Cheers! -hic-". Coyolxauhqui: COCHIQUETZALMETZTLI, AXCAN! Even without the accostumed shout, the Demon vanished, and the singer's soul crystal stood flying in the air. Coyolxauhqui took it gently. Cavalier: You have won once again, Coyolxauhqui. Now I must go. Coyolxauhqui: Wait!! Eagle Cavalier turned back, stunned. Coyolxauhqui: Once, you said you would tell me who you are, only when you were a real help. Why don't you tell me now? Cavalier: (Once again turning his back to the women) Sorry, but this is just the beginning. You still have no idea of how dangerous and important your mission is, and I said I'll tell you who I am only when I became a REAL help! Right now, Princess Coyolxauhqui, I'm very far of it. (He walks a step to go). Coyolxauhqui: NO! He stops again, and when turning back, he notices she is about to cry. Coyolxauhqui: Nobody asked me about this... I... I never had nightmares, And now they're after me!... I... I don't know what to do... ˇI don't know if I can't carry all of this on! (She closes her eyes and looks down). The Eagle Cavalier walks to her, holding gently her hands. Cavalier: There's something I can tell you now, No Cihuanton Coyolxauhqui: Many ages ago, you allowed a lie to steal your smile, and it was the ruin for our people. (He gently lifts her faces) If you really want to help me, yourself and the fifth sun, never allow it to happen again. She looked up, and noticed his eyes were also wet. Cavalier: Smile. You must smile and trust in your real friends. Always, smile and trust. Ever. Fighting with herself, Coyolxauhqui finally smiled behind her tears. Cavalier: This is all I need to go on. Mayahuel, Chalchiuhtlicue, please, never leave her or the Macuiltonatiuh alone. Chalchiuhtlicue: (Playing with her fingers) Well... it isn't easy at all, but (she smacks her fist on her other hand) What the hell! We'll do it!! Mayahuel: (Hugging Coyolxauhqui's shoulders) You can trust on us. Cavalier: Thank you. Take good care of yourselves. (He leaves) Coyolxauhqui: (To Herself) I promise you, my dear cavalier. I'll smile. I'll smile always. In front of thedark mirror, the painted-face men look at the Demon's end. Skull: I'm afraid he's reaching a better control of his powers. The man with the stripes-painted face clenched his fists and mouth for a moment, but quickly relaxed again. Stripe-Faced: But we are still a step ahead. We only must work faster, and victory will be ours. Skull: And, talking about speed... Franjado: (Clenching his mouth again, and relaexing) Trust me, my friend, I'm still on it. She'll be back, you'll see. There's no better aphrodisiac for women than power. Skull: You don't know her, of course, but I don't care about it. Just find her, and I'll take care of the rest. (He leaves) Stripe-faced: I also have some aces under my sleeve, "Deary Godbrother". Only wait and see. Wait and see... ====================================== END OF CHAPTER 8
