We see various shots of Zel sitting next to a campfire and staring out into the distance, walking alone through moonlit woods, traveling through villages with his hood and mask up. In one shot he's looking down at one of Amelia's wrist bands, turning it so the firelight plays off of the blue star ball.
Now we see Amelia sitting and staring out the window of her room at Saillune. Occasionally she'll glance down at the single wrist band in her hand, and a worried look will cross her face. Outside it begins to storm, and the lightning flashes illuminate her face showing several tears sliding down her cheeks.
Various flashbacks are shown of Amelia laughing and Zel watching her from the corner of his eye, a small smile on his face. Zel leaping between Amelia and Garv as Garv goes for the kill, and being hurled through the air clutching Amelia as blood pours from his wounds. Zel picking up the dying Amelia as Phibbrizo laughs.
More shots of the two sitting side by side and watching Gourry and Lina battling over food, with Amelia occasionally jumping in to grab a bite. Shot of the two at the Hot Pot Restaurant sharing food. Another shot of the two standing side by side with two of Darkstar's weapons, watching as the Dark Lord comes closer. Amelia asking Zel a tentative question, and Zel replying with a smile.
Shots of Amelia protecting Zel and Zel protecting Amelia. The images then move to Zel, who's sitting on a rock formation, gazing at Amelia's wrist band which he has hung on his water bottle. He then looks into the distance for a few moments before picking up the bottle, getting to his feet, and walking off camera.
Amelia's signing official papers, then getting up and going out of the library. She pauses to talk to her father for a bit, then goes out of the palace and into the sunlight. Various shots of her talking with merchants and other people before moving on.
Amelia's talking with several old women when something catches her attention, and she looks up with wide eyes that begin to fill with tears. Shot widens out to show that Zel is standing several feet away, watching her. He then begins to move towards her, reaching out to pull her into his arms as he reaches her. Shot fades out as Amelia wraps her arms around Zel's waist and hugs him back.
