OK, I haven't updated my page for a while. Sorry, but I have (a bit of) a life.I have to give full credits for Philips here. My broken 28.8 modem got replaced
with a brand new 33.6 voice mail modem !

Given up on the modem and bought a new one. Back on the net !My mailbox was full (there was a 2 Mb limit). Hope I did not lose any mail.

Still no modem. The company responsible for fixing my modem, have gone out of business.Got a letter from a different company, who will take over all repairs. Gave them a ring.
Yes, they do have my modem. They have ordered a new one for me. OK, so I wait.

Panic ! Got a very nasty system error after Doom 95 crashed my PC:
The registry was corrupted ! Restarting Windows did not fix the problem (thanks, Microsoft).
Even re-installing Windows did not help anymore here. I had to delete the registry files,
re-install Windows 95 and everything else that uses the registry !
My advice: make a backup of your registry files (import / export will NOT help you once it's corrupted).
More problems as my modem has broken down. The LED's still work, and it seems to receive data,
but it does not return anything. It is still under warranty, so hope to get a new one (thanks Philips !).
As a result, I can update my page only offline at this moment.
