Do you know if DiC is ever going to dub the next SM series? What are they going to name the outer senshi. This may be answered on your page actually. And by the way, could you tell me the answer to life, the universe, and everything in general? Some computer kept telling me it was 42. ^.^

Nope nope nope, I know nothing of what DiC's up to ^_^. As far as naming the outer senshi, I have NO clue, but it's likely to be something weird (fansubbers have been going with "Alex" for Haruka, "Michelle" for Michiru and "Susan" for Setsuna-san). And the answer to life, the universe, and everything IS 42.

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you want it completely un-dubbed (i.e. in Japanese) I'm not really sure WHERE you can find it (except in Japan). But if you want a subtitled version you can either a) Check out local anime stores for it, b) Mail order through an anime provider, c) order via Internet from someplace like AnimeNation, or d) Get a fan-subbed version.

The dub doesn't mention Kisenian and Fiore becoz they're from the Sailormoon R movie. The movies haven't been dubbed at all. For general info. on Kisenian and Fiore you can check Aidan's page on it ^_^.

Minako: Eh.. heh.. long story.. Basically, I am the product of Naoko-san's first manga, Codename: Sailor V! It didn't go over WILDLY with the kiddies, so she created another story, Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon (which is what this whole place refers to ^_^). So, she shipped me over from London and had me star as the senshi who leads the others coz she's got the most experience with bad guys (this' what happens when you've had 2 years overseas! ^_~). Ahem, why do I get video games and a movie? Because I'M SPECIAL! Really ^_^
Aidan: I always thought it was coz Naoko-sama was simply making subdued jokes about her previous manga. And aren't you s'posed to be Usagi-chan's wildly commercialized hero?

Minako: Good question! Unfortunately... I don't know why.. [looks around for help]
Aidan: [runs onstage, hands Minako a series of notes and runs off]
Minako: Let's see.. It seems that the dub was dumbed down because DiC wanted to present it to a younger audience, who they believed are too stupid to comprehend stories with plots. They were afraid that *certain* scenes from BSSM would corrupt young children so they cut them out. Then, to save on their budget they took certain clips from BSSM and repeated them in several different places of the dub thousands of times. And finally, they hired voice actors who weren't exactly top of the line and altered the translations so that finally the movement of the characters mouths didn't match the dubbing. Put it all together and you get.. Crap! A.K.A. the NA Dub.

How come in the United States BSSM doesn't show all of the series? Is it because they need to translate it to english? Also, who is Sailor Chibichibimoon? What's her role in the whole thing?

Aidan: It's not BSSM in the States, it's plain ol' SM
Minako: [shoves Aidan into a box].. Ahem.. they haven't shown the rest of the series becoz ultra-conservative DiC thinks there are some "questionable" things in the following series. And thank God they haven't managed to dub SMS! It doesn't need their corrupt paws on it! And Sailor Chibichibimoon is a character who's role changes depending on if you're talking about the manga or the anime ^_^
