The Makaiju

Hi! Well, these profiles are for the first batch of Sailor Moon alien characters from Sailormoon R. I mean that they're the first aliens who come into the plot of the second season of Sailormoon. ANYWAY, these aliens aren't gonna have a lot up about them simply because they were in the anime to use up time while the manga caught up. So, they're characters from "filler episodes", nothing more, nothing less. They were kinda confusing, and a bit pointless in my opinion (which explains why I chewed out my best friend for buying the box set *innocent look*). This is also where the Tsukikage no Knight came in. I decided that I might as well put Kisenian and Fiore in here too coz.. well.. I felt like it! ^_^ Anyway, here are the summaries:

Ail

Ail was one of the many "children" of the Makaiju. He had blue hair with two pink streaks in it, and wore a blue body-hugging suit. A lot of the girls at Juuban Jr. High had crushes on him, including Mako-chan. He however, had eyes for Usagi, and he tried to gain her affection a lot of the time. He had a very intimate relationship with Ann, another child of the Makaiju. He was also jealous of Mamoru coz Ann had a crush on Mamoru and Usagi was in love with him.

Ann

Ann was the other child of the Makaiju shown in the SMR episodes on TV. She had pink hair with two blue streaks in it (notice a trend going here?). Anyway, she had a very big crush on Mamoru, and would chase after him and hang onto him almost all the time. She was also Ail's lover. Anne became extremely jealous of Usagi, especially when she noticed that Ail was paying attention to her. That's Ann for you.

Fiore and Kisenian

Fiore originally started out as a fairly decent guy. At a very young age he made friends with the then young Mamoru, and as a sign of their friendship, Mamoru gave Fiore a red rose. Fiore promised to come bak and bring Mamoru lots and lots of flowers. About ten years later Fiore shows up again, but this time with Kisenian (an evil li'l weed of a flower). This, of course, freaks out everyone since Kisenian wants to suck the life outta everyone ("I like this energy... wheee..."). Fiore also decides that Usagi will warp Mamoru's heart, so Fiore will save them both the trouble by killing Usagi [o_O]. In the process he ends up stabbing Mamoru instead. To make a long story short, Fiore goes around trying to force Mamoru to stay with him forever as his friend until finally the Sailor Senshi manage to convince him that killing everyone but Mamoru is NOT the way to get him to be friends with you ^_^. Of course, this order of convincing involves Fiore almost dying by the infamous "rose thru the heart" technique, and later thru the "flashbak" technique, but in the end he manages to be normal again after Usagi uses her ginzuishou and nearly kills herself in the process.

"A beautiful flower, if grown with a warped heart, will grow to be ugly."

Kisenian was an evil li'l flower that went around the universe stealing energy from planets and was considered to be the most dangerous plant in the universe. Kisenian was just a plant tho, and plants can't move or really do anything, so it needed a person to be its hands and feet. In order to do this it latched onto people with weak hearts and changed their minds so that all they could think of was hatred, which ultimately led to them helping it create evil power.

The Makaiju

The Makaiju is literally the "tree of evil." It was the "mother" of Ail, Ann, and Fiore, aliens in the SMR movie and t.v. episodes. In the dub the Makaiju explains that it was the "tree of life" at one time, and that it grew lonely and created its children to keep it company, but, when the Negaverse got to it, its children turned evil and mean and hateful and fed it evil, negative energy. In the end Sailor Moon frees it from all the evil energy it posseses and it regresses into a tiny little sprout. Ail and Ann take it and tell the senshi and Mamoru that they will take care of the Makaiju and try to create a happy peaceful world for them and the Makaiju to live on.
