Neherenia was looking for the Golden Crystal
(which would make her beautiful and powerful forever,
or something... I missed some of the dialogue and therefore
could not translate....why? I waz getting a headache and waz
bored). She is trapped in a mirror and is rarely seen because
only Zirconia had the status to take her direct orders. She has
long dark hair and can throw dark lightning energy blasts.
Her powers include mirrors. Anyways, she captured Pegasus
(Helios in human form) once she found out that the golden
crystal was in his horn but he escaped to the light of
Chibi-usa's dream. Her main role is to give orders to Zirconia,
second in command to find the Dream Soul Mirrors carried by
humans, since Pegasus was hiding in one of them.
But Neherenia isn't just a SuperS villainess, her legacy carries on into the first 6 episodes of the season Sailormoon SailorStars, also known as the Neherenia Arc. Neherenia is trapped inside a mirror in her own dark realm. All you see is a long winding staircase. She is very cold and calm person and her power is that of mirrors. In SailorStars, her "monsters-of-the-day" are no longer Lemures, they are Mirror Parody, which were formed when she shattered her mirror (glass shards that take the illusional forms of many things). In SailorStars, her mission was to get revenge on Sailor Moon for all the misery and defeat she has suffered. Eventually, in the final confrontation with Sailor Moon, after having trapped the rest of the Sailor Soldiers in her mirrors, Sailor Moon allowed Neherenia see her "real dream", to have a true friend and Chibi-Neherenia is seen waking up from a nightmare. Neherenia's range of evil is shown via an eclipsed moon. When she becomes purified of evil, the moon un-eclipses itself. (BTW,in the manga, it's different, she is thoroughly evil and dies.) |
