Petz and Karaberas were the last of the Ayakashi sisters to choose good over evil. During the final confrontation with Sailor Moon's group, Rubeus gave Petz a stick that would amplify her dark powers. The stick possessed Petz and she became so fierce that she attacked indiscriminately. Fortunately, her sisters and the sailor soldiers refused to give up on her, and so she was saved.

Petz and Karaberas eventually found out that Rubeus was just using them for his own glory. They asked Sailor Moon to turn them into ordinary human beings as well.

Petz was very much in love with Sapphire, younger brother of Prince Diamond. When Sapphire was injured, she was the one who took care of him. Petz tried to dissuade Sapphire from going off to warn Diamond about Wise Man in his injured state but Sapphire was adamant. He promised her he would return but he was killed by Wise Man. At that moment, Sapphire's coat fell of Petz's hanger... and she knew he was gone...
