It is the year 2015. On the land that once was the United States now stands New Iraq. After a great nuclear war, Saddam Hussein now rules with an iron fist. However, there is a revolution stirring within. Those who remember the old democracy are fighting to bring it back. . .

John Masaki is a mercenary. With nothing but an old katana on his back and a bokken in his hand, he wanders New Iraq in search of "jobs." Until, one day, he wanders into the city where the revolutionists are screaming for freedom.
