Introduction of the CLAAiNA web page

The web page for CLAAiNA (Chung Ling Alumni Association in North America)  has been created for 
all members as an action item discussed in the Alumni Meeting dated  March 08, 1997  in Toronto.


It has the following objectives :

 
  
1.0	To give all members a web presence which each of us can use to relate
comfortably to one another.

2.0	To have a web place where information or announcements can be easily
made available to members atmost instantly wherever they may reside in 
North America.
	
3.0	To have a web home page so that CLAAiNA can relate to other
sister web sites and be a part of the family of Chung Ling Alumni all over the
world.

4.0	To provide a place on the Net where members or Chung Ling Alumni in other
parts of the world can feel relaxed and have access to various useful informations 
which are made available on the CLAAiNA web pages.
The information may be contributed by members or obtained via links to other
web sites on the Net.



As a start, the web page will have items like its history, the history of Chung Ling High School. 


I have also added links to other Chung Ling sites,  links to access information on 
Chinese Technology, on Malaysia & Singapore as well as  on Canada etc.

Members may also read Malaysian or Singaporean as well as Chinese newspaper online.

Some of the web sites use Chinese GB or BIG5 codes.  You need to have software installed in your PC 
which have fonts to display the Chinese characters on the screen.

As time goes by, there will be more useful links added to the CLAAiNA web page.

Members are encouraged to contribute to the enhancement of the CLAAiNA web page by sending your ideas or suggestions to  me 


 Or if you have some publications or photos you wish to share, you may write up an article and
 e-mail it as an attachment to  me  for posting as part of the CLAAiNA web page
.
Also if you have any brief message of general interest to other members and wish to post it on this page, 
you may do so by clicking the "To Add" buuton
