PRESENTATION OF NIPPON KEMPO'S JAPANESE BOXING

Nippon Kempo is a sport based on modern japanese martial arts.
For the first time observers who watch this tournament I'd like to explain Nippon Kempo.
I'd like to give a simple explaination of Nippon Kempo with this opportunity for those who observe this tournament for the first time and who want to learn Nippon Kempo.

Nippon Kempo is an empty handed fighting technique which consists of

    1) ATEMI-WAZA - Thrusting, striking and kicking techniques with a fist or foot,

      2) NAGE-WAZA - Throwing techniques,

        3) KANSETSU-GYAKUTORI-WAZA - Joint reverse grasp techniques.

      Boxing match or Judo match prohibits to use kicking also boxing match prohibits throwing and gyakutori-waza, while they are all available in Kempo match.
      However, as is extreemly dangerous to fight using these all mentioned techniques of Kempo match being proceeded on a mat in"Kempo-Hoen" Ring with each other player wearing protectors so that the player can fight as freely as possible within the game rules for offense and defense in order to get point in this modern sport that is called "Nippon Kempo".
