Much like her namesake, Birdy flits about the city seemingly at random. She strives to protect innocents, and fight crime wherever she finds it. As far as origins go, Birdy got a little to close to a nutty professor's science project and received great strength and toughness. The details aren't so important, since she has abandoned any former identity and spends all her time as the rooftop-perching heroine Birdy.
Over time, Birdy has gained the ability to pop out a fully functioning pair of wings at will, probably formed as a side effect of her powers and her own subconcious mind. She has also manifested an ability to generate bursts of flame.

Notes: Birdy was my very first character. She is now mostly retired. I originally created Birdy to test out the game mechanics, including flight, and didn't intend for her to last very long. However, improvements to certain powers (including Unyielding and Knockout Blow) convinced me to keep her around. She is very much a solo concept character, and has never been on a team. Birdy's build is great for my style of play, but I definitely don't recommend it for others. (Note the lack of Invincibility and Foot Stomp, which are both important powers for team players.)
