Theorizing that a merger of a human and a behemoth would produce a being of great power, a sorceror summoned a behemoth and successfully transferred its fiery magical energies to his daughter. He replaced his daughter's spirit with another more capable of handling the arcane power of the behemoth. The sorceror did not live to see the outcome of his experiment, as he was ambushed by an irate group of Circle of Thorns at a grocery store. Kioni the Hot Topic retains no ties to her biologic father or the Circle of Thorns and has set out to blaze a path of her own.
