The Human Development Foundation, (HDF) is a nonprofit, 501(c)3, tax exempt
organization. HDF was founded in 1998 by Dev Purkayastha.
Mr. Purkayastha is a former Tata Scholar (1975), MBA (Harvard University).
The Purpose of the HDF is to provide educational opportunities for
impoverished children.
All administrative costs for HDF and its programs are funded by a
grant from the Purkayastha Family Foundation.
