| Kei's love for Miki is a typical love-at-first-sight. It was a selfish kind of love, as in, he was trying to break Miki and Yuu's relation in order to have Miki for himself. However, it was also his love for Miki that helped him grow into a respectable young man in the 3rd part of the series. Here's Kei's love story. | |
 Episode 28, 29. After Miki embarrassly fell on top of Kei, he starts to develop an interest in this girl. Kei picks up the medallion that Miki dropped when she fell. He is going to return it back to her. Selfishness acts upon Kei, and it turns out that he decides to use it in order to break Miki and Yuu apart. |

 Episode 33. Kei embraces Miki and confesses his love! Outside the backdoor of Bobson's Icecream, Kei holds a reluctant Miki in his arms and tells her, "I love you." Things wouldn't be worse when Yuu just happens to pass by and sees his girlfriend in another guy's arms! |

 Episode 35. Kei shows Yuu the medallion and claims that Miki gave it to him! His act in trying to break up Yuu and Miki works! Yuu and Miki get into a fight, but later on they get back together. Miki confronts Kei a few episodes later for his wrongdoing. |

 Episode 41. Kei finishes his composition and performs live for Miki as a Christmas present. His love for her beautifully fills the air on Christmas Eve. Afterwards, Kei tells Miki that he cannot live without her. Miki thinks that Kei is being childish and she slaps him. Then, she encourages Kei in a gentle voice and leaves. |

 Episode 44, 55. Kei left, determined to return as a worthy young man for Miki. Kei returns, trying to prove himself to Miki that he is now someone Miki would want. And to his surprise, he finds Yuu studying abroad in New York! Does he have a chance to enter Miki's heart? |

 Episode 58. Miki seems to be captivated by Kei's beautiful music once again. Kei competes in a local piano contest, performing his original piece, "For You," and wins. He receives his trophy on stage, and in front of the applauding audience, his gleaming eyes pick Miki out from the rest of the crowd with love. |

 Episode 66. The road to win Miki's love is not smooth. Even though Miki breaks up with Yuu, there is still another 'candidate' he must defeat -- Michael. At an amusement park with Kei and Michael, Miki is asked to choose between them. And she finally chooses the understanding Kei. |

 Episode 69. Kei and Miki on a date at a open cafe. Kei's warm smile makes Miki happy. She is glad that she has chosen Kei because she needs him. |

 Episode 71. It's summer and everyone's at a picnic. Yuu's presence and his concern for Anju makes Miki feel uneasy. In the evening, Kei and Miki have a walk together. He wants to kiss her, and she agrees. But to both of their surprise, tears run down Miki's face before she realizes. Kei already knows that he has lost her. |

 Episode 74. Months after Kei and Miki separated, they happen to see each other outside a supermarket. Kei manages to put away his feelings for her during the past months and now they are good friends. And it's not that bad after all. =) |
