 Tsuchiya Kei is a very talented pianist. Being the youngest to win a well-known piano competition at the age of 13, Kei has been called a piano genius. The rich teenager loves the piano, and at the same time detests it. What happened? In episode 34, Kei meets Miki after her shift and tells her about his piano story. |

 Kei loves playing the piano. It is out of his love for the music, and not because he can win competitions and become famous. However, his teacher once forced him to play a difficult piece, which can guarantee his victory at a competition, and Kei did not want to do this because he liked the piece he chose. |

 Kei decided to quit piano. He furiously tore the music apart and said good-bye to his piano teacher. He quitted music school with permission from his parents, who thought that Kei should take a break and calm down, hoping that he would return to music someday again. |

 He disappeared between episodes 44 to 55 in order to pull himself back together. He returns to music school and resumes piano lessons. He is active in piano competitions again. All of these due to his love for Miki. And he manages to win her over, even though it's only for a short time. |
