H4-C Scope (6000 eb)
By Legolas
A. Basic System
One of the most expensive and effective scopes on the market, the H4-C, specially designed for use with the H4-C Detonator Sniping System, has an SP of 6. It is telescopic, and when it is pushed into its smallest size it is pocket concealable. To use it, it requires one turn of aiming. Using the scope gives a +6 in accuracy. It includes a range finder and a compass as standard equipment. Options for the scope are extremely expensive and thus are not commonly found on the scope in great numbers. Special deals can be arranged with its manufacturer if you want to buy the scope with a number of options.
B.Basic Options- Two options can be purchased for the scope:
1-) Infrared (400 eb). This allows a player to use the scope in almost complete darkness, and the player still receives a +4 in weapon accuracy.
2-) Thermograph (600 eb). This allows a player to see heat patterns. If a player uses the scope to shoot a target behind a wall, he will still receive a +2, +3 or +4 in WA (GM's discretion, depending on distance from wall and thickness of wall)
3-) Camera (350 eb). Can take 20 pictures stills and 15 minutes of footage. Can take two options.
a) expansion chip (200 eb): Allows 40 pic stills and 30 minutes storage.
b) Gun cam (100 eb): Automatically takes picture when trigger is pulled.
c) Mini-Print (75 eb): Miniature printer that connects to camera jack, can print out pictures taken. Can make 10 prints before refill needed (20 eb).
d) MU system (175 eb): Allows pix in camera memory to be transferred to scope processor (if it is equipped with one). Every 10 pix or 5 minutes footage take .5 MU.
4-) Expansion Slot (500 eb). Allows for two extra options. A max of two can be attached.
5-) Processor Chip (2000 eb). Gives the scope basic AI, connects to jack in gun.
a-) Basic functions
-Has 3 MU.
-Damage report: Reports any damage to gun or scope, displays info in scope display
-Ammo report: Reports amount of ammunition in gun, type of ammunition, state of ammo. Includes detailed files on types of ammunition and their uses. Uses .5 MU.
-Includes smart gun interface
-Targeting System: Allows up to 5 targets to be stored in memory. User can review targets and photos and see what damage has been done. Processor gives probable physical condition based on damage received.
b-) Processor Options. Two options can be purchased.
-Scanning system (400 eb): Processor can detect (with 85% reliability) the type of armor, type of weapon and probable physical capabilities of a target that is kept in the area of the scope for at least 3 rounds. It can only detect E or C availability weapons and armors, however. Uses 1 MU.
-Advanced files (250 eb): Contains files on poor availability weapons and armors. Allows the scanning system to detect these. Uses .5 MU.
-Vehicle files (300 eb): Allow the system to detect common vehicles (cars and bikes) and gives detailed files on the vehicle scanned. Gives condition. 95% reliability. Uses .5 MU.
-Advanced vehicle files (150 eb): Allows system to scan gyros, planes, and other less common vehicles. Uses .5 MU.
-Extra MU (300 eb): 2 Extra MU
-Disk Drive: Files can be added to memory from an outside disk or vice-versa.
-Expansion card: Allows for two more options for processor. Max of two can be added.
-Medical System: Gives detailed analysis of physical condition of a target stored in memory. Info given includes movement rate; deterioration of intelligence, reflexes and body; probable amount of time before unconsciousness and death; and more. Includes detailed medical files. Uses 1 MU.
-Files: (.5 MU each). Files can be purchased on almost any area, allowing for quick view with scope. Examples include maps, corporation info, technical info, etc.
-Advanced Tactical System (Uses two option spaces) (3000 eb)-
-Basic Functions:
-Advanced Targeting System: Similar to targeting stem, although 20 targets can be stored in memory. If used with scanner, will highlight armor areas and most vulnerable areas, giving an additional +2 WA if aiming at a specific part of the body.
-Tactical Mapping System: Allows a wire frame map to viewed with a button push. Shows positions of targets as last seen, positions of allies (if used with Team system), and probable new positions based on last observed movement direction and speed. More useful if used with thermograph. 2-4 rounds are required to view area with scope in order for a basic 2D map to be created of the immediate area. Maps can be stored in memory for .5 to 1.5 MU, depending on size. Shows any important information, such as dropped weapons.
-Options:
-Team System (1500 eb): This is a chip added to the scope that includes an electro-gyro. It can detect the movement direction and speed of user. Thus, if multiple people are using chip, one can tell the position of all of his or her teammates, as well as his or her movements. It also detects any firing made by a teammate, as well as automatically sharing all targets. If used in conjunction with a scanner, scan info will also be shared. If used in conjunction with medical system, medical info will be shared. An extremely useful option for any elite team. In addition, files can be sent to teammates. 1 MU is required to spent by each team member to store locations of teammates.
-Options:
-Scrambler (450 eb): Prevents the receiving of Team system radio signals by an outside party. Also, in the rare occurrence that combatants are using the Team System, will prevent their picking up of your teams signals by coding all messages.
-Movement clip (750 eb): Our single most popular option. This can be clipped onto any person, whether or not they have an H4-C Scope! It detects their movement, relaying the signals back to those who do have the team system. For example, it is very expensive to equip a whole team with Team system enhanced H4- C scopes. Instead, have one 'leader' with the enhanced scope and equip the others with movement clips! The individual with the scope can view the position of his entire team with the Advanced Tactical System! He can gives orders from there. Of course, those with the clip cannot see the position of anyone else on the team, and of course the one with the team system enabled scope cannot detect when his team fires and cannot give or receive target information. It is extremely useful for any team.
-Cover System: This option enables the scope to detect the cover of a target. It gives info on the stopping power of the cover, the ability of the gun to penetrate the cover and what better ammo could be used for max damage (Uses .5 MU). Its more important feature, known as LOSS (line of sight system) uses the processor to pinpoint a place where the individual does not have cover. It can detect and highlight an area as small as a two by two inch square. It gives a +3 WA bonus to hit this area, which helps to negate the bonus of shooting at such a small area.
