New prospective members please note the following:
1. Please do not apply to join if you do not intend to play. There is no requirement to be online for a certain number of hours each week or anything, but please do not waste my time and yours if you do not intend to be on.
2. Please make absolutely sure that you want to be a member BEFORE you apply. I have very little time to spare and to waste it on someone that "changes their mind" for no apparent reason 2 days later really ticks me off.
3. Make yourself familiar with our rules, rank structure, etc. Everything about the clan is right here on this site.
ABOUT THE APPLICATION PROCESS:
1. After receiving your application, I will:
a. Ensure that everything is filled out. Note that I ask for the time when you normally play. If this is not there, the application is ignored. Please also include who recruited or directed you to this site, if applicable.
b. Note your IP and cross reference with all the IP's I have on file. I have a couple hundred IP numbers of warriors that play on Netmech and Mercnet. This is a security precaution that you are not a spy from a rival clan, or one known to be dishonorable.
c. If all is well here, then I will reply welcoming you to the clan.
d. I will post a message to all announcing your membership, and assign you a Lance based on who directed you here/recruited you or the needs of the clan.
e. Update the member's page(most likely the next Sunday).
A couple of words about the restricted area...
Please do not give the password to ANYONE, even if they claim to be DL and have the uniform and name of a known member. It is very simple to imposter someone. Naturally, do not leak the password to NON-DL. All requests for the password should be MAILED DIRECTLY TO ME. I can verify identity.
Keep your language clean on the message board. We have some young members and there is no need for foul language. Profanity will be removed and the offender warned. Disregard of this warning gets ya tossed.
I know that this sounds like a lot to remember, but really most of it is just common sense. Conduct yourself as a warrior worthy of all honor, and everything falls into place. I wish you the best of luck, whether you wish to apply or not, and I hope to see you on the battlefield soon.
