"Ami, you have always taught me to enjoy life. For that I'm thankful. You have also shown me that the true love of the cosmos relies with others as well as yourself. You made me believe in myself and believe that someone is watching over me. I would like you to know the extent of my love for you."

Greg opened the box as Ami gasped. It was a necklace that had a large pendant on it. The pendant was in polished silver and a large royal blue stone was laid in the silver. The stone changed colors to reveal a soft purple. The stone reminded Ami of the colors in a sunset.

"It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Ami said with awe.

Greg smiled.

"It's a core of one's being. The stone becomes a part in both of our lives. It will tell the one that has it how the other's soul is. If one is in trouble, the other will know. It was made thousands of years ago when lovers would travel afar and needed to know how the other was doing. When I found this one, I thought of you." Greg explained. Ami stared at him with praise.

"You thought of me?" Ami asked. Greg nodded his head. Ami embraced him while still holding the necklace. Ami kissed him on the lips.

"No one has ever thought of me like this or even given me anything remotely like this. Thank you." Ami said with tears in her eyes. Greg lifted up his hand and wiped away the tears. Ami smiled at him.

"I would do anything for you. I only wish I could give you stars." Greg said as he pointed up to the millions of stars shining down on them. Ami smiled.

"You already have." She said as she leaned on his shoulder and he hugged her tight as they stared together at the stars.

Lita and Ken had been walking slowly and very close. Lita didn't understand what was going on. Ken had always been her guardian angel. He never was anything more than that…until now.

Ken was holding his childhood friend in his arms. Ever since Lita saved him from death, he had fallen in love. He wasn't going to tell her that he knew who she was. Ken suddenly had a flashback.

He had watched as Lita transformed into Sailor Jupiter and fought valiantly against the creature. He had watched with admiration and love. Lita didn't realize he was watching. He had always had these feelings but until then he wasn't aware of it. Lita was so beautiful tonight. He never noticed before. Ken's vision clouded over as he passed out. He later awoke in the hospital.

When he left the hospital and found out that she had given her blood to save him, he was beyond the feeling of mortal love. He waited at his celebration of his recovery for her, but she had not shown up. He left the next day to his home and to leave for a trip to the inland.

Ken looked at Lita and felt the void in him that had been present since he left her, dissipate. Lita smiled at him, not realizing all the secrets that were hidden from her. Lita held onto him so the world would never take him away from her. Ken just returned the gesture.

Lita dropped her robe as Ken dropped his. Lita tried not to look surprised as she viewed his body. Ken had never really interested her like this before and she felt no shame in gawking at a body like his. He was slightly tan and looked really strong.

Ken glanced at Lita out of the corner of his eye and did a double take. The bathing suit that she was wearing was really sexy. He tried not to stare but found himself a helpless slave to Lita's beauty. Lita's hair complemented her figure very well. Lita just smiled and blushed. This is the first time he had ever seen Lita blush in his life and he cherished it in his heart. Lita took a step towards the spring and flicked some water at Ken playfully. Ken had a coy grin spreading on his face as Lita's face changed to one of sincere apology. Ken started to approach her slowly.

"I was just kidding around…Ken…what are you doing…Ken stop looking at me that way!…Hey put me down!" Lita yelled. Ken had picked her up easily in her arms as he held her over the spring. She shook her head violently as she knew what he was thinking. He turned around and was about to place her on the ground when he suddenly threw her into the spring. She was drenched as she tossed her long hair around and started to laugh as she held out her hand for a truce. Ken went to shake it when Lita quickly grabbed his ankle and launched him into the air, flying into the water behind her. Ken had been completely off guard.

"Now we're even." Lita said triumphantly as she held out her hand. Ken had gotten up and laughed at her enthusiasm. He looked at her outstretched hand and shook his head. Lita wondered why he wasn't calling a truce when he pulled her close to him and kissed her on the lips, a sign that the truce was made.

Serena was staring up at the sky on her back while Darien was resting his head in her lap. Serena looked down at him and thanked the moon for allowing Darien back into her life. The music from the distant hall could be heard over the silence of the stars.

Darien was actually content now. He finally resolved everything with Serena and he felt secure with her. He no longer felt that emptiness that had been present in his soul. Darien lifted his hand to Serena's and held, as to assure himself that she wasn't a dream. Serena smiled down at him.

"I think we had better go in now. Everyone is going to wonder where I am." Serena said gently as she ran her slender fingers through his hair. Darien sat up reluctantly and helped Serena to her feet. He put her robe over her shoulders and put his on. They walked together on the path with Darien's arm on Serena's waist. Serena stopped dead in her tracks as she gasped. Darien looked ahead to where she was looking and smiled. He saw Rei and Chad sitting together in the water in a nearby spring. Darien and Serena tip toed by them without getting caught. Serena then dodged Ami and Greg who were sitting so close that they seemed to be sharing the same air. They slipped into the doorway to the vacant hall unnoticed. Serena let out a giggle. Darien looked at her funny.

"What's so funny?" Darien asked. Serena turned to him motioned for him to be quiet.

"If that's how close Rei and Ami got to their guys, imagine how close Lita and Mina are getting!" Darien smiled at her.

They started heading down the hall. Serena turned around and had a puzzled look on her face.

"What ever happened to Denise?" She asked with a questioning look in her eyes. Darien shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. What do we do now?" He asked. Serena had this coy smile on her face.

"You never did dance with me." Serena said with a wink. She walked past him into the dressing room. Darien smiled and walked in to the other dressing room to get ready for Serena.

The moon was shining a glow on Mina as she was drying herself off. Ben watched her with intrigue. He smiled to himself. This has been the best night ever, he thought. I am never ever going to live this up.

Mina sat down next to him and leaned against him. He held her with ease.

"This has been the best night ever. I have never had a better night with a more sophisticated guy." Mina paused. "The again there is always tomorrow night with another one of my dates." She said with a sly smile. Ben started to laugh. She stood up and held out her hand to him.

"Let's go dance some more." Mina suggested. Ben smiled and followed her. They walked down the path and didn't notice any of the other couples in the other springs. Mina walked into a changing room and waved good-bye to Ben as he blew a kiss to her and entered the opposite room. Mina ran into Serena who was watching Mina from behind.

"So sorry…Serena! What are you doing here?" Mina asked in surprise. Serena smiled as she stood in her bathing suit.

"I was changing. That is what you do in a room like this." Serena said in a mocking tone. Mina blushed. "So, how's Ben?" Serena asked as if she didn't already know. Mina got this far away look in her eyes as she thought about him.

"You know how you feel when you've met a person that can make you feel like your a goddess and it doesn't matter what is going on in the world, you always feel protected in those arms." Mina said softly. Serena nodded with a complete understanding of how Mina felt. Mina continued, "That's how I feel when I'm with Ben." Serena sat down and looked at Mina with a smile that crept itself onto Serena's innocent face.

"I understand completely." Serena said with a sigh. Mina suddenly looked up as she noticed that Serena was still listening.

"Is that what it felt like to be with Darien?" Mina asked. Serena nodded. Mina than got a suspicious look on her face. "Where have you been all night?"

Serena smiled secretly and then Mina noticed that Serena's bathing suit was wet. Serena looked at Mina with a nod and Mina's eyes started to fall out.

"You're kidding! Darien and you! Back together?!" Mina said with shock. Serena nodded happily. Mina went over and hugged Serena. "I'm so happy for you!"

"Happy for who?" Lita said as she barged in on the sentimental moment. Lita's bathing suit was still dripping as she walked in with her robe on her arm. Her hair glistened as it dripped water onto the floor. Lita had a smile on her face that made her look as if she was glowing. Serena and Mina looked at her with shock.

"Where did you come from?" They both asked Lita in unison. Lita looked at both of them skeptically.

"From the same place you guys did from the looks of it. Mina and Serena exchanged glances with covert smiles. Lita gaped at them with a smirk on her face. "What is so funny?"

The girls looked at each other and laughed. "It seems that not only have Ami and Rei found their guys but the great Lita has found her soul mate as well!" Serena explained with great exaggeration. Lita sat down on one of the chairs and started to wring her hair out.

"Well, we know that the great Venus is head over feet with a guy named Ben now don't we?" Lita said as her hair let out all the excess water onto the tile floor. Mina gasped as she realized that Lita had seen them together.

"You were spying on me!?" Mina shrieked. Lita turned her head and gave her a wicked grin.

"I wasn't spying! It's just very hard not to hear you and Ben playing around in the water as Ken and I were trying to talk!" Lita stood up and picked up a brush from the counter and started to brush her hair. Mina's mouth dropped open.

"We weren't that loud!" Serena and Lita laughed at how upset Mina was getting. Rei walked in on the three girls. Rei looked at them and sat on the other chair. Serena seized the opportunity at hand, "Well if it isn't the girl that said Chad wasn't her type yet I find her and Chad getting pretty cozy in a hot spring." Everyone looked at Rei with a look of shock. Rei glared angrily at Serena. Serena smiled at Rei.

"Exactly where have you been all evening, Meatball Head?" Rei yelled as she looked incredulously at Serena. Serena stood up and looked at her face.

"I was with Darien in another hot spring and we saw you as we passed but you couldn't hear us because you were preoccupied with someone else!" Serena burst out. Rei and Lita stared at her, speechless.

"You and Darien are back together?" Lita asked. Serena nodded proudly. Rei just looked at her.

"It's about time." Rei said softly. All the girls started to laugh at the way they had been acting. They all started to put on their dresses and dry their hair. Serena was the first one done but she waited for Lita. Lita caught up to her and they walked out together, looking dazzling. Ken and Darien were standing side by side, waiting for their escorts. Lita blushed as Serena glanced at her date.

"What's he like?" Serena asked quickly. Lita gaped at her for asking such a question. Then she softened her look.

"What's it like for you and Darien?" Serena pondered this for a moment.

"It feels as if the treasures of world mean nothing without him." Serena said with thoughtfulness. Lita smiled and put a hand on her shoulder.

"That's what it's like." Lita answered and walked ahead of Serena to link arms with Ken. Serena then rushed to go see Darien and they walked out to the ballroom. Darien took her by the hand and led her to the middle of the floor. Many of the guests had stopped dancing and moved elsewhere. Darien held onto Serena's hand and put one arm to her waist. Serena followed his lead as he swept her into a dance that made her heart flutter. Serena smiled as she looked into his blue eyes.

Darien was just breathless at the sight of her. Darien dipped her low and kissed her as she glanced up at him with the love and passion that had always been in her heart.

Lita clutched onto Ken with intensity. Ken hadn't noticed anything. Lita's mind raced with thoughts of what Serena had just asked her. Why did Serena care? Lita thought. Well, duh, Lita, she said to herself, she wants to know that you like a guy. Lita shook her head with confusion. A hand grasped her shoulder and turned her towards Ken's smiling face. He cupped her face in his hands and stared into the deep green that hid the emotions of a girl that didn't understand the world yet, so well. Ken realized that Lita was maturing at a fast rate. The music was slow and heavy. Ken placed his hand on Lita's thin waist and held her hand out as she allowed herself to let go of her taunting emotions beneath the calm surface of her appeal. The music seemed to reach its vibes into Lita's inner soul as she started to sway to the music as if she was in a trance. Lost in her eyes, Ken tried to see beyond Lita's tough exterior and into the warrior that was known as Jupiter. Lita saw that Ken was searching her and felt her soul being exposed. It was a sensual feeling. The air was heavy as Lita felt a passion arouse inside her.

He is my love, Lita thought. I have never felt the need to be protected before except by him. I put my life in his hands and I know that he will care for it with his life. A chill was sent up her spine as Lita finally realized her emotions through a clear vision. I really do love him, Lita realized. I have never really loved anyone like this before.

Ken held Lita in his arms with gentleness. The fragility that was bestowed upon him was extreme. Lita trusted him with everything. Ken had realized long ago that he loved Lita. He wondered if she loved him. There is only one way to find out.

He stopped dancing and led Lita towards the balcony that was vacant for a moment. He turned towards the stars for the words to express his feelings to Lita.. Lita just stood there.

"Lita, I love you." Ken stammered. Lita opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by a finger that silenced her. "I have always protected you and you have always protected me. I need to know that you feel the same way." Ken looked into her green eyes for a response. Lita looked at him with no emotion.

"I love you more than you know. I would die for you. But I have other responsibilities that come before you and you cannot comprehend the duty involved." Lita said with regret. She could just imagined the hurt in his eyes before she looked at him. A hand found its way to her shoulder. Lita kept looking at the ground.

"You mean the fact that you're Sailor Jupiter." Ken said with a smile.

Lita looked directly at him with wide eyes. Her mouth dropped open. Ken was still smiling as he put a finger under her delicate jaw and closed it.

"What did you say?" Lita asked as she grabbed the railing to the balcony to keep her balance. The voice that belonged to her was soft and wavering. Ken helped her to stand up.

"I said that I know you're Sailor Jupiter." Lita groaned and put a hand to her head. I can't believe this, she thought as she held her pounding hands. He knows! But how?!

Lita looked up at him to see that he was worried about her current condition. "How do you know?" Lita asked as the world spun underneath her in a frenzy. Ken looked very worried and concerned.

"I saw you when you rescued me. I watched you fight the monster when I fell into a coma." Ken explained with a sheepish expression. Lita relaxed slightly. At least he wasn't in a crowd and everyone had seen her. It was just Ken that knew. After all, he would have noticed if I got up and left in the middle of a date to fight some youma. Maybe it's better this way. Lita was stable enough to let go off the railing and turned her body so that she was extremely close to Ken.

"So you've known for awhile." Lita said. Ken nodded. "So what do you think of your defiant Lita now?" Lita asked with a smile. Ken looked at her with a coy look.

"You look very sexy in the outfit of yours. The youma would die of overwhelming beauty." Ken gushed as he wrapped his hands around her petite waist. Lita laughed. The laugh was like the chiming of little bells to Ken. His passion gathered as Lita put her arms around his neck and kissed him hard. The kisses were so hard that he could feel his lips bruise up easily. Even so, he kissed her with the same force as well. Lita opened her eyes to see if her kisses were being well received. The face before her revealed that the passion she gave was accepted with opened arms. Ken invited her in to his mouth that sweetly acknowledged Lita as his breath of life. The pounding of her heart multiplied in her head as she felt the invading tongue of Ken's slither into her mouth. The ecstasy inside flowed into her veins as she felt impulsive bursts of chills and heat flashes. Lita tried not to understand her feelings, just to seize the moment at hand. Soft hands trailed down Lita's back slowly, taunting the muscles underneath with gentle caresses. Ken's lips glided down the Lita's neck that left a sweet honey after taste on his lips, leaving him begging for more. Lita twisted and turned with pleasure as his butterfly kisses left the most luscious strokes on her burning skin. A deep euphoria took hold of her.

Ken savored every moment that Lita breathed his name. Never had a girl had this much control over him. Ken stepped back to look at Lita. Her eyes were wild like that of a tiger in the middle of a chase with its prey. Her hair was teased by the breeze. Lita had a hungry look that curled on her lips as he beamed at her. Lita smoothed a wrinkle out of her dress and grabbed Ken's wrist with a roughness that surprised him.

She turned to look at him with a sly grin. "We'll continue this at a later date…in somewhere more private." Lita whispered in his ear with a seductive voice that made Ken go ecstatic for her touch again. Lita pulled him into the ballroom with the other guests.

Mina walked out of the dressing room shortly after Lita and Serena left. Mina looked around for Ben and saw him standing with his back towards her. Mina crept up behind him and kissed him gently on the ear. He turned with surprise and exposed a white lilac. Mina gasped at the sight of it. She knew that these were very expensive because there were not many around. Ben smiled to himself as he was delighted that his beloved loved the gift.

"It only matches up to a third of your beauty." Ben said as she looked up at him with wide eyes that expressed more than any words could. He took her hand and they walked into a private room where all the windows sparkled with a shine as the heavens were unveiled to her. The moon was bright and shimmered in the window. Mina held onto Ben with an awe. The room held an aroma of mystique about it as she looked up and the ceilings were glass as well. Mina spotted Venus right away to her left. She smiled to herself as she knew that that was hers and hers alone. Ben shrouded Mina with his arms and gazed at her golden hair. Its lust was unworldly. He had never set eyes on a woman this beautiful. The protective arms dropped away from Mina and she turned to peer at him. Ben bent low to the ground in an exaggerated bow and stood up with his fingers grasping Mina's. A kiss implanted itself on her fingers as he examined her features closely.

"May I have this dance?" Mina melted as she heard him whisper those words with a pure essence that made her inner soul tingle with sensuality. Her heart burst with desire. She nodded her head in agreement. Ken beamed his adorable yet coy smile. He led Mina to the barren dance floor where he enveloped Mina into his figure. An abyss of ecstasy took hold of Mina as she followed his led.

Mina was swept across the dance floor as Ben twisted her into a spin. She felt that her life had finally been put into perspective. Her vision clouded over into pictures of Ben's face. A paradise of desire and fulfillment had been dealt to Mina. She was no longer the abused or hurt. The world welcomed her with a sea of treasures and the biggest prize was Ben.

Ben dipped her so low that her hair grazed the floor. He gazed into her eyes with a longing. She looked up and fell into a blue hoe that engulfed her. Ben bent low and kissed her with a desire that Mina shared along with him. The moon shined on the lovers as they kissed for what seemed like an eternity to them. The stars could be heard whispering and giggling.

Ami had joined Rei in the dressing room. Rei was admiring herself in the mirror before she noticed someone was laughing at her. Rei turned angrily towards the figure. Then she saw Ami.

"What exactly is so funny?" Rei demanded as she pretended that she was mad. Ami looked up at her. Rei thought she looked a little too happy.

"I walk in here and I'm greeted by the sight of Mars making sure she is looking her best for a guy. That is what's so funny." Ami said with a chuckle.

"I'm not fussing over a guy! I want to make sure that the dress looks okay." Rei insisted. Ami shook her head at Rei.

"Who do you think you're fooling with your act? Everyone knows that you like Chad. He has always been there for you and now you deny your inner feelings for him. We all know about it Rei. There is no use hiding it." Ami said with a good-natured voice. Rei was about to object when Ami sat down next to her. Rei let out a big sigh as she knew she wasn't fooling anyone.

"I don't know what I feel. I know he's more than a friend to me but I don't know if I really like him." Rei answered. Ami nodded her head seriously.

"Maybe you should try to let go of the thoughts and ponders about whether or not you love him and start to enjoy yourself and let yourself go. Then you'll know what you think and feel." Ami replied. Rei gave a hearty smile as she read Ami's mind as if it was written on a piece of paper in front of her.

"So how is Greg!?" Rei asked with an all knowing look. Ami blushed.

"He's just fine." Ami said softly.

"Is he getting over his shyness and have you finally admitted that you love him?" Rei asked. Ami didn't know what to say.

"I guess so." Ami said monotonously. Rei had a smirk on her face as she got up to leave and meet Chad.

Rei had entered the hall and Chad was sitting next to one of the fountains. His hair hid his face as he looked down into the water. Rei felt the urge to run up and hug him but quickly restrained herself. Instead, she walked very casually over and watched him from a distance. Chad glanced into the crystal clear water as all he could see were images of her floating in the pool and smiling at him, silently taunting him with rebuke after rebuke from her heavenly lips. He glanced away. This whole evening had been a waste. Rei had quickly fled after their encounter in the spring. He could not believe that his dreams could be fulfilled and destroyed in the same instant. A strong hand splashed the water away, scattering her face into the depths. He saw Rei watching him from the corner. He quickly stood up and Smiled with uncertainty. She smiled back.

He looks so forlorn, Rei thought as she glimpsed his forced smile. What is wrong with him? Oh well, we'll soon find out. Rei walked over and linked elbows and smiled a genuine smile. He seemed to relax at this. Maybe she is in love with me. Or at least she likes me, Chad thought as the tension flowed out through his pores with ease. Rei brought him to a bench that was next to an indoor spring. He sat down and she closed the gap between them. Rei started to speak first.

"Chad, you look upset, why?" Rei asked with worry in her eyes. I hope I didn't scare him off.

"Um…well you sorta hurried really quickly from the spring and I thought you might have changed your mind about being…you know…love with me." He said while shifting his weight to alternate sides. His palms had become clammy and sweaty. He took a deep breath and prepared himself for her reply.

Rei let out a sigh. Chad had a couple of love jitters. "Chad, I'm now completely certain that I'm in love with you. I just had to get some…well expert advice. Besides, whatever gave you the idea that I wasn't in love with you?" Rei said kindly as she placed her hand on his thigh.

"Well you took off rather quickly and I thought…well I just assumed." Chad said. Rei realized that she had to convince him that she was truly sincere. Rei came up with the perfect way. She reached up with her threadlike hand and felt his hot cheek in a sweet caress. Chad looked at her with surprise as she enclosed her arms around his waist and kissed him on the lips. He returned the kiss. She reached under his jacket and fondled his back. She started to kiss his neck with little kisses. Chad started to return the kisses on her cheeks then her neck. Rei swooned him as easily as a horny sailor. Rei felt her urges return and this time she didn't ignore them. The kisses became harder and more persistent. Their lips locked into a firm embrace. Their tongues flicked each other's in a lover's game. Rei backed off when she became breathless. Chad looked at her with intrigue.

"Now do you believe that I love you?" Rei asked. Chad answered her by kissing her quickly in return.

Ami had exited the dressing room, fondling her pendant. Two arms covered her eyes. Ami smiled in surprise and eagerness.

"Guess who?" A voice whispered in her ear. She giggled.

"Bob!" She whispered with wonderment. Ami was turned around harshly but playfully. Greg was standing there with his hands on her hips, pressing her close.

"Bob!? Who's Bob!?" Greg yelled pretending to be angry. Ami burst into giggles like a two year old. Greg kissed her quickly as a forgiving symbol. Ami relished the sweetness of his aroma that smelled like a mix of gardenias and fresh soap. Ami wrapped herself in the fold of his arms. Greg pulled her tight to him.

"What shall we do now, my love? We have done everything here." Greg said with anticipation on his lips. Ami was expecting this.

"Let's go for a drive in your car and then to a spot that I know of. My friends know that I'll be with you. Besides, my mother thinks I'm sleeping over Rei's house." Ami said with a wink. Greg smiled wide.

"Since when did you become so sneaky?" Greg asked with surprise.

"Since I decided to love a daring man." Ami said with a laugh and led the way towards the door, leaving the dying party behind them.

Serena had practically passed out as she walked beside Darien, dangerously close. Darien led her out to the parking lot which was nearly vacant now. Serena looked around and circled around to meet his dark eyes.

"What are we doing out here?" Serena asked. Darien smiled and took her hand into his. She was about to protest but Darien lifted a single finger to her lips to silence her incessant cries. Serena stopped for a moment.

"I'm going to take you out for a walk in the gardens. All we saw before we left was the springs. You didn't admire the many flowers." Darien said softly. Serena was about to protest but Darien had already started to drag her off into the night.

Fountains created the atmosphere that was almost a divine inspirational place to be. The benches were of carved marble and weeping willows drooped into the lake on the other side. Serena's breath escaped through her lips rapidly. She ran over to the fountain and giggled. The night was becoming dawn within a few hours but Darien was determined to make it last. Darien followed Serena to the bench. He pulled Serena into his arms and she didn't fight it.

"Do you like it?" Darien murmured. His voice tickled Serena's ear.

"Of course I do. How did you know about this place?" Serena asked, still in wonder. Darien shook his head.

"That's my secret." He said with a grin. Serena ran her warm hands through his hair. It felt like cornsilk in her velvety hands. She took in his husky aroma that reminded her of dry roses. He looked at her with devotion in his eyes.

" I've got some secrets of my own." Serena breathed back in an enticing voice. Darien felt her voice in his ear and a chill of excitement ran down his spine. She sat down in his lap, not caring that her dress would be wrinkled. She licked her lips with anticipation. Darien's hands were positioned on her thin hips and trailed down the rest of her curves. Serena smiled alluringly and kissed him softly on the lips. Anticipation dropped away as the fire of desire burned within the essence of their souls. Serena's hands slid down past the silky hair and held onto the broad neck of her love. The aroma overwhelmed her. Darien drooped as he kept kissing Serena's skin in pure ecstasy. Her neck burned with his fierce kisses. Serena was silent in the moonlight though.
