-in 1994 49.5 out of 1000 girls 15-19 wwere pregnant
-that is up 20.1% from 1987 when the raate was 41.2 out of 100 girls were pregnant
-in Canada there were approx. 48,000 prregnancies within teens ages 15-19
-in 1994 more than half (50.2%) pregnanncies within teens ended in lvie births
-servey in 1994 showed more and more teeens keeping their babies
