Why do teens start having sex at such an early age?

According to many sources teens start having sex at an early (mostly this applies to teenaged girls) because there partner wanted them to.

Another reason is play boy and play girl magazines along with other sexual related magazines. These show teens who get a hold of them from their parents, friends, find them, etc. that the naked body is a beautiful thing (which I am not denying) and that it is alright to show yourself to others.

Another main issue relating to why teens start having sex is this, the media. For example one of the most popular shows out there, Friends, has the characters having sex with numerous partners all the time. The characters may be around 28-30 but the reason is still strong. In some of the earlier episodes they talked about the characters having sex around 15 or so. Another fact about it is the characters never seem to get pregnant. There has only been one character on the show to get pregnant and she was said to be sarigit mother. It also portrays her labor as painful but not as painful as most births are. This is only one show that relates to sexual intercourse. I can name a few more Popular, Gross Point, and Student Bodies. Movies such as Scary Movie, Dude Where's My Car, and Idle Hands have to do with sexual intercourse between teens at some point and all result in them remaining not pregnant and without sexually transmitted diseases (STD).

Another suggested reason is this: some teens are let to run wild. This is a bit sad. Some parents who are doing drugs, are alcoholics, or are having sex all the time with a whole array of partners often are to busy doing there dirt to pay attention to their children's. For a suggestion towards this I have a girl that lives across from me. We used to be friends. She is 15 and has been kicked out of her house, has been having sex, smoking and doing the drugs her mother a step father grow, and has had to change schools at least 3 times within the grades 8-10. I am not even sure if she is in school right now. She has so many problems because her mother has neglected her because she is doing drugs, her stepfather insults and is cruel towards her, and her mother does not care what she does most of the time. Am I the only one here that believes this is wrong?

The final reason I will be giving is because some teens do drugs and alcohol. At many times people will go out drinking and the next morning have an extreme hang over. Someone will suggest they take such a drug for their hangover, which leads them to be high or stoned. At least 20% of teens that start having sex were either drunk, high, or stoned. At many times students also are drunk when they have sex they are drunk.

How to teens get a hold of drugs or alcohol?

Teens often get alcohol from parents and the drugs from the ones their parents grow.
