PROLOGUE

WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE DEVIL SAILOR DYNASTY WAS OVER. AFTER SUCCESSFULLY DEFEATING HADES, THE TRIO OF DEVIL SAILORS RETIRED HAPPILY FROM THAT SOMEWHAT SMALL FIELD OF WORK. HOWEVER, SINCE THEY WERE STILL FULL-TIME SAILOR SCOUTS, THE POSSIBILITY OF EVER BECOMING A NORMAL TEENAGER WAS SLIM AND NONE. PERHAPS SERENA USED IT TO THE BEST OF HER ADVANTAGE BY RUBBING IT IN REI'S FACE THAT SHE WAS GIVEN MORE CREDIT IN DEFEATING HADES, NOT TO MENTION VICE AND HACHI, AND ALL THE CREDIT IN KILLING THANATOS. REI DIDN'T REALLY GIVE A SHIT ABOUT SERENA'S GLORY, AND WOULD SNUB HER AS USUAL FOR HER STUPID ATTITUDE. AMI SIMPLY RECOGNIZED THE PAST COUPLE OF SITUATIONS WITH A SMUG "HO-HUM," AND MINA CONTINUOUSLY WENT ON AND ON ABOUT HOW COOL IT WAS FOR HER TO BE SOME HEAVEN-SENT SAILOR OF SALVATION. AS FOR LITA, SHE SIMPLY PUT IT ALL BEHIND HER, AND CONSTANTLY URGED THE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. BESIDES, WHO REALLY CARES ABOUT HELL AND DEMONS WHEN THERE ARE BOYS AROUND AT THE SAME TIME? FOR MANY OF US, THIS ISN'T A VERY TRYING DEBATE, BUT TO LITA, WELL, HER MOTTO IS "IF IT WEREN'T FOR BOYS, I'D QUIT SCHOOL." YES, I'M SURE WE'VE ALL SEEN THAT SLOGAN ON VARIOUS KEYCHAINS IN THE WORLD OF MALLS. LITA TURNED THIS MOTTO INTO A DELIBERATE OBSESSION, IN WHICH SHE TRACED IT ALL BACK TO HER "OLD BOYFRIEND." AND WHY NOT? HE WAS RATHER HANDSOME, WITH SLICK BLACK HAIR, AND GORGEOUS HAZEL EYES, AND A SMILE THAT SHINED FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA. ALTHOUGH HE WASN'T JAPANESE, BUT ACTUALLY FROM ROMANIA, LITA DIDN'T CARE, HE WAS STILL BEYOND CUTE. WITH A NAME LIKE BUB LUCIFER, WOULDN'T YOU BE TURNED ON? ADMIT IT, YOU WOULD. LITA SURE WAS. SHE NEVER REALLY THOUGHT MUCH OF HIM, AFTER ALL, HE DID RUN OFF WITH THAT AIRHEADED FLOOZY, BUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, WHEN SHE WAS ALONE, SHE DID THINK OF HIM. SO WHAT IF EVERYONE THOUGHT HE WAS EERY, OR THAT HE WAS "ALLERGIC" TO GARLIC, OR THAT HE HAD NO RELIGION (AS FAR AS WE KNOW), HE WAS STILL SO, SO FINE. LITA WOULD GIVE ANYTHING JUST TO SEE HIM AGAIN. TALK ABOUT BEING ACCURATE...

Allotment One: Stake Your Claim

The phone rang. Because she lived alone and couldn't afford an answering machine, Lita had no choice but to pick it up. Gosh, this had better be important, she thought. All she wanted was a peaceful afternoon, with no disturbances, but no, supposedly that was asking to much.

"Hello?" She answered glumly.

"Do I have the honor of speaking to Lita Kino?" A low asked.

"Who is this?"

"Why Lita, I'm ashamed you don't recognize me," the voice replied.

"Look, whoever you are, this little prank-call bit ain't scaring me at all," Lita remarked harshly. "Now tell me who you are, dammit!"

"About a year ago...Youma Junior High...initials B.L..." the voice trailed off.

Lita tried to piece this all together. Okay, what happened to me about a year ago at Youma? Who the hell is B.L? What a second! No way... "No way," she murmured. "You're, you're Lucifer, Bub Lucifer!"

"Yes, it's me," Bub replied.

"H-how did you know how to find me? Who gave you my number? Why are you even calling me?" Lita demanded.

"I have my ways. Lita, ever since you left, I have thought of you non-stop. Your gracious beauty, it's been hell being without you!"

"Oh for the love of-Hey! You're trying to suck up again, aren't you? Well, listen to me, Bub, and listen closely! It ain't gonna work a second time! Besides, what about that floozy bimbo Morgan? I thought you and her were together!" Lita yelled back.

"Why would I still be with that bitch? She ruined a good relationship! I hate her! Besides, she was nothing compared to you."

"Look, you fucking kiss-ass! I told you to stop saying that stuff! We are through, okay?" With that, Lita slammed down the phone. "That bastard! He should know better!" The phone rang again. Lita yanked it up. "Yeah what?" She answered shrewdly.

"Why don't we talk this out face to face? Meet me at the old Mame Graveyard tonight at around midnight?" Bub invited.

"And why should I come?"

"Well, I'll let take all that anger out on me, like you wish. Aside from that, we do have some catching up to do," Bub replied softly.

"Fine, I'll be there," Lita hung up the phone again, and began to walk off. It rang again. "NOW WHAT, YA ASSHOLE!? I TOLD YA I'D BE THERE AT MIDNIGHT!"

"Huh? Lita, are you alright? Is it that time of the month again?" a voice quivered over the receiver.

"Wha- Oops, sorry about that, Serena," Lita blushed nervously.

"What the hell is wrong with you? P.M.S?"

"No, it's not that. I was talking with someone earlier, someone I personally don't care for," Lita replied. "It was my old boyfriend."

"Oh, that Akira guy?"

"No, a boy at my old school. His name's Bub. He wants to see again tonight, so if Rei's giving a fire reading, tell her I can't make it, okay?"

"Okay. Hey, guess what I heard! There's this new girl who just transferred to our school from Youma Junior High, your old school! Maybe you know her!" Serena said.

"Maybe. What's her name?"

"I think it's something like Morgan Virago. Ami told me. She got transferred to her class."

"What? Morgan? She's coming to my school?"

"You know her?"

"Yeah, she's the bitch who stole Bub away from me! Finally, I can get even with her!"

"But I thought you hated Bub!"

"Well, now you know why," Lita responded. "Say, I gotta go. I'll talk to ya later, okay?"

"Okay." Serena hung up.

Finally, some peace and quiet, Lita thought. So, Morgan's trying to invade my territory again, eh? Not for long, she gave a devious snicker.

"Man, doesn't it just suck that nothing evil is attacking the planet?" Mina complained as they sat in the fire-reading room.

"Sure does," Artemis agreed. "Lita had the right idea about not coming. By the way, where is she?"

"She had to go somewhere," Serena replied.

"Like where?"

"She didn't say. Damn, why did that needle have to hurt so hard?" Serena rubbed her arm in pain.

"Didn't you give blood today at the hospital?" Ami asked. "Was it painful?"

"That's not even the half of it," Serena said. "You also get a real buzz from it, and then you feel dizzy."

"Well, guess you guys can go home now," Rei sighed. "This damn fire ain't giving us shit, and it would only be wasted time if you stayed. Besides, I gotta go to the graveyard tonight."

"Why?" Everyone asked.

"Well, call it weird, but I feel more comfortable in the graveyard at night. Plus, I have someone to go visit," Rei responded.

"But everyone there is dead," Serena pointed out.

"My, you catch on quick," Rei snapped.

Everyone got up and left. As Rei got to her feet to watch them off, a strange feeling entered her body. "These vibes," she murmured. "There's something odd about these vibes."

When night came a matter of hours later, Rei made sure her grandfather and Chad were asleep, before she snuck out. Her grandfather knew what she did, and didn't mind at all, because it made her happy.

There was a slight chill this evening in particular. Being that it was already going on midnight made her quicken her step; her curfew was 1 am.

"Ahh, Mame Graveyard," she sighed as she stood at the entrance. She went over to a grave by an oak tree and crouched down. "Hello Mother. Good to see you again. I'm doing fine. Grandpa's fine. I'm passing all my classes in school." She smiled as she stared at her gravestone. Sure, she was six feet under, but about once a month Rei had made it a ritual to visit her and tell her how she was doing1. As she got up to leave, she saw two shadows at the opposite entrance. Curious, she watched them. Little did she know that someone up in the tree above her was watching them too.

"Seems like old times, Lita," Bub held her closer. Lita pushed herself away.

"Gosh, Bub, you ain't wasting any time, ain't ya? Just because I agreed to come here doesn't mean that I have feelings for you. It just means I thought I'd get everything off my chest, because after this, we ain't seeing each other ever again, got that?"

"Fine," Bub nodded. He was clad in a long black trench-coat, and had dirty black boots on his feet. "But just let give you a token...of my emotions right now." He pulled her closer again.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"Let's just say I'm gonna give you one hell of a hickey," Bub joked.

"NOOO!!" A voice from above Rei yelled. At that same moment, an object fell from the person's pocket, and bounced off Rei's head.

"Ouch! What the hell-" She picked up the object. It was a large crucifix. "What in the world is this?" She looked up.

"Huh, hey! Is that you again, you worthless ol' bitch? Leave me alone!" Bub hollered.

"I won't let you harm her!" the voice yelled back.

"You stay outta this, Morgan!" Bub yelled. He turned back to Lita, who was stunned and angered at the same time. "Lita, ignore her. That tramp just doesn't have anything else better to do."

"Say...Bub?" Lita pushed herself away and began to saunter off. "Usually I'd want to kick her ass, but finding out that I have all school year for that, I'll just leave you two alone." She gave a reluctant sigh. "Come back here tomorrow afternoon."

"Can't do," Bub replied sternly. "Tomorrow night."

"Fine." Lita walked home.

Bub pivoted around and headed out, but stopped and said, "Morgan, don't you dare come back here tomorrow night! I'm not gonna let you ruin my time with her!"

"I know what you're gonna do to her," Morgan yelled back from the tree. "And I won't stand for it! I have with me one of the few things that can stop you!" She dug into her pocket, but fumbled around and found nothing. "Wha-hey! It's gone! Where did it go?"

"You were saying, Morgan?" Bub laughed. "Same ol' Morgan Virago. You can dish it out, but you just can't take it." He wandered off.

"I just know it's here somewhere!" She looked all over. Rei watched from below. Maybe she was looking for the fallen crucifix.

"Um, excuse me! Is this the thing that you lost?" She held up the crucifix. It shimmered in the moonlight. I'm getting some strange vibes from this thing, Rei thought. Just like the ones back at the temple.

"Who's there?" Morgan jumped down and took it from Rei. "Thanks." She studied Rei for a few brief moments.

"Hey, no problem," Rei replied and walked off. "Um, I hope you get your problems figured out with that other guy."

"Stop," Morgan said. She had on a school uniform identical to Lita's, but had on black army boots instead of lady-like heals. "You give off this strange aura, did you know that? What's your name?"

"Rei Hino..."

"Mmm, I think you can help me. My name is Morgan Virago. I specialize in vampire hunting, unfortunately, I don't meet the formal credentials in being a Vampire Sailor."

"Vampire...Sailor?"

"Yes, it's very hush-hush, I can understand if you haven't heard of it. I think you may have what it takes to be one."

"Well...that's really nice and all, but I have a packed schedule," Rei tried to make up an excuse, without actually saying flat out that she was already a Sailor Scout, Sailor Mars.

"No problem. I understand, but I really need your help. Come back here tomorrow night, same time, same spot. I'll explain it all then, okay?"

"Oh, alright." Rei managed a weak smile. "Say, I thought that guy didn't want you back."

"Oh, him? Think about it, Rei. With a name like Beelzebub Lucifer, wouldn't you be the least bit suspicious that he might be a...vampire?"

"Well, yeah."

"You see? Just come back here, okay? Maybe you can help me make sure he doesn't get that girl Lita."

"Lita? As in Lita Kino?"

"You know her? She was Bub's old girlfriend, but they blame me for breaking them up. I'm just looking out for what's best for her. I don't want her to get hurt," Morgan explained.

"You shouldn't do that. I know Lita very well, and she ain't no fucking weakling. She's the strongest girl I know, and she doesn't need someone else defending her."

"But you don't understand. If you claim to know her really well, then you should know her one weakness."

"It's boys. What about it?"

"Well, Bub is a boy...vampire. At least that's my assumption for right now."

"That he's a boy?"

"No, dammit, that he's a vampire! I can't let him kiss her! If he does..."

"Then she'll be one too," Rei lowered her head in concern. "Hmm, that's a good reason for not letting him kiss her. This is to remain between us, am I right?"

"Yes, don't let anyone else know," Morgan said. "Remember, meet me here tomorrow night at this spot, okay?" She tossed back the crucifix to Rei, who caught it in surprise.

"Why did you give this to me?"

"I'll explain...tomorrow," Morgan walked off.

"Hey, Serena," Ami greeted the next morning at the entrance of Juuban Junior High. "Do you know what's wrong with Lita? She seems really out of it this morning."

"What do you mean?" Serena wondered as they went inside. "Is she sick?"

"I'm not sure. The strangest part is, she has this weird scarf around her neck, and when I saw her earlier she claimed she was cold. For gosh sakes, Serena, it's 75(F out there! It's even warmer in here!"

"Weird," Serena murmured. She had a feeling it would all become clearer later on because she and Lita had homeroom together. However, as she walked in, a girl bumped into her. It was Morgan. She darted down the hall, going past her own homeroom, with a scared look on her face. Ami watched from down the hall and gave Serena a confused shrug, then ducked inside the classroom. Serena slowly went over to Lita's side, but was pulled back by Melvin (©).

"Serena, stay away from her! She's acting really bizarre! A few minutes ago she was making eyes at me, I swear it!" He warned urgently.

"Melvin, would you shut the fuck up? Never in a million years would any girl make eyes at you!" Serena chided.

Lita lifted her head and glared at Serena while she was telling Melvin off. She felt weak all over, only it didn't feel the same as having all her energy drained, but worse. With her index finger she ran it under her scarf, over the two deep punctures in her neck. They hurt like hell, even worse when she felt them. This obviously told her to stop irritating them before they became infected, as though they weren't already. She also felt terribly cold, and her skin had become clammy and incredibly pale. Was she sick? Oh no, far from that. She had only started feeling this way after Bub had bumped into her on the way home the night before.

"Say, Lita, Ami told me that you weren't feeling well. Are you sick?" Serena put her hand on Lita's shoulder. "What's with the scarf, a new fashion statement?" Lita didn't answer. Serena was beginning to get concerned. "Should I get the nurse?"

Miss Haruna slammed her books down on the desk. "Alright, class will begin now!" She threw open the roll-book. "I had a really bad date last night, and dammit, no one had better piss me off, got it?" She started down the list. "Abashiri? Ashikaga? Berg?" She went on down the list. "Kamaishi? Kino? Kuonji?"

"Here," Lita moaned as she slowly raised a hand.

"Don't stay up so late, Kino," Miss Haruna snapped without even looking up. "Moroboshi? Nelson? Odette? Okazaki? Servo? Taraschke? Tsukino?"

"Present!" Serena answered happily.

"Don't be a smart-ass, Serena," Miss H. scolded without glancing up again. "Alright class, we all know this homeroom, so just sit there and shut-up until the bell rings, got it?" The class nodded in unison.

"M-Miss Haruna," Lita groaned. "Can I please go to the nurse?"

"Are you dead, sick, or dying, Miss Kino?"

"All of the above, ma'am," Lita moaned. The teacher slapped the pass in her hand.

"Fine, and don't dilly-dally. And for crying out loud, take that damn scarf off! It's hideous!" Lita wandered out the door.

"Miss Haruna? Can I go with her to make sure she gets there alright?" Serena offered.

"You ain't going anywhere, you poor excuse for an eighth-grader," Haruna declared.

As Lita sauntered down the hall, she became desperate for something to drink, only it wasn't water, but something more colorful. It was very sunny in the morning, and in japanese schools one side of the hall is totally exposed to sunlight, meaning bad news for Lita. She slumped against the wall, and despairingly tried to cover herself up. She couldn't bear to see the sunlight.

It was at this particular moment that Ami was coming back from the library after checking out a book titled "Advanced Space Botany." She dropped it in shock as she saw Lita lying against the wall. She knelt down by her side and tried to get a pulse. It was rapid. As she put her head against Lita's heart, Lita looked down at her and opened her mouth in starvation. Ami jumped up in despair, making Lita groan in anger, but she still felt weak.

"I've got to get you to the nurse immediately!" Ami said frantically. Knowing that Lita was too heavy for her, she began to cry out for help. Within moments, a teacher helped carry Lita's ailing body down to the nurse. Seeing that she had somehow lost a lot of blood, she was going to need a transfusion. The nurse called for an ambulance. Lita was going to the hospital.

"This can't be happening!" Morgan burst out of the doors of the school and ran down the road to Mame Graveyard. Little did she know that Rei's school had let out early for one reason or another, and that at that particular moment Rei was cutting through the graveyard on her way home. Morgan slammed into her.

"What the hell- Morgan? What's going on? What are you doing here?" Rei brushed herself off and got to her feet.

"It's Lita," Morgan panted. "We were too late."

"She's dead!?"

"No, we were too late to stop Bub! He's already gotten to her!" Morgan shook her shoulders urgently.

"Where's Lita now? Is she on a psychopathic rampage?"

"No, worse! The nurse found her in her sickly state and had her rushed to the hospital!"

"Oh my gosh! It's that bad?" Rei was stunned.

"Obviously! Rei, we've got to hurry to the hospital!" Morgan pulled her by the arm and drug her to Minato-ku Hospital.

Morgan and Rei burst into the hospital, disregarding the nurses and patients, without even stopping and asking where Lita was located. The vibes that were going through Rei at that particular moment were on hiatus, and she couldn't figure out what was going on. As Morgan whipped around the corner at high speed, she was unaware that a girl was standing in the hallway, and turned right when Morgan and Rei slammed into her. The three slid down the hall at break-neck speed, and eventually smashed into a wall. The girl was slammed against the wall, Morgan was sprawled out in her lap, and Rei was pushed up against Morgan's back. The girl felt her forehead and looked at the two in disgust.

"Hey, you two could've watched where you were going!" She snapped.

"Ohh, we're sorry, we're in a hurry to see a friend before it's too late," Morgan groaned at got to her feet, then helped Rei up.

"You alright, Rei?" The girl examined her bruised legs.

"Huh, Mina? What are you doing here? And what's with that shitty get-up?" Rei scorned as she glared at her.

"I work here, Rei. I'm a candy-striper," Mina replied.

"Mina, this ain't no fucking candy factory," Rei retorted.

"Rei, she means that she's an apprentice here," Morgan explained. "And it's a good thing too. Could you help us find someone? It's an emergency. We need to know what room Lita Kino is in."

"Wha-" Mina was shocked. "Lita's here? In this hospital? What happened to her?"

"It's a long, sick story," Rei began slowly.

Mina grabbed a clipboard from a nearby nurse and skimmed through it in a panic. "She's in room 134*. Is she hurt?" (* In most all of japanese hospitals, a room never ends in the numbers 4 or 9, because they are considered unlucky. Considering the situation that Lita's in, though, think about why I used it.)

"If she wasn't hurt, she wouldn't be here, Mina!" Rei snapped as Mina led them down the hall.

"Oh...my...gosh..." Mina hesitated before entering. There were no doctors in the room at that moment, and Lita was the only patient. Dozens of needles and tubes were sticking into her skin, and she had a breathing tube through her nose. Her skin was still dangerously pale. On her neck were two tremendously infected punctures. She made no movement whatsoever.

"Damn that Beelzebub," Morgan grunted as she stepped up to Lita's body. "If he hadn't have done this, then Lita wouldn't be in deep shit now."

"Morgan, is she, is she..." Rei paused. "Is she a vampire now?"

Morgan didn't answer. She continued to stare at Lita. "I'm not sure, Rei. It could be safe to assume that."

Mina stayed back, a pulled out her Sailor Scout Communicator. "Ami! Serena!" She hollered into it. "Get down here to the hospital now! Code red!" Just as she was about to put it away, she was pushed against the door. Angered at who had done it, she soun around. "Hey, no visitors! Go away!" She tried to pull him back, but he knocked her down on the ground.

"I told you to stay away from her! No see what you've done!" Bub jabbed his index finger in Morgan's face, who in turn slapped in him across the face. "Sly little bitch!" Morgan took this as an opportunity to fling open the venetian blinds, which emitted great amounts of sunlight. Bub ducked back in horror. Suddenly, in a poof of smoke, he transformed...into a bat. Rei was stunned.

"He-he really is a vampire!" She exclaimed.

"Ooh, I'm not finished with you yet!" Morgan picked up a cart with syringes on it and flung it at Bub, who climbed higher into the air to dodge it. "Dammit!"

I may be a bat now, but at least I have someone else to do my dirty work, Bub beamed. He concentrated on Lita. Arise, my beauty, arise!

"Rei! Behind you!" Morgan pushed her out of the way just as Lita lunged at her. Morgan whipped out a wooden stake and aimed at Lita's heart. "Not gonna let you harm the only Vampire Sailor," Morgan threatened as she prepared to ram it into Lita's flesh.

"NOOO!" Rei screamed. She knocked the stake out of Morgan's hand. "I won't let you kill her!"

"You got a better idea on how to stop her?" Morgan remarked. Lita rose to her feet and lunged at Mina, grabbing a hold of her by the neck. "Hey! Stop that!" She picked up a pillow and tossed it at Lita, who caught it by her teeth and gnawed on it for a few seconds before spitting it out. Feathers flew everywhere. At last, a decent idea popped up in Morgan's head. "Rei! Get back out that crucifix I gave you last night!" Rei did as she was told.

"Lita! What's happened to you?" Mina was taken aghast as she ducked out of the way. "Your teeth! You've got fangs! Oh my gosh!" She used her hands to block her face. Lita scraped them up badly, so much that blood began to seep out from Mina's hands. Mina closed her eyes in fear, but opened them in surprise at what was happening next. Lita was licking the blood off her hands. "EEEK!"

"What's going on here?" Serena and Ami stood in the doorway.

"Rei, now's the time!" Morgan yelled. "Now's the time to transform into Vampire Sailor Rei!"

"Huh?"

"Say Cruciform Transform! Hurry!" Morgan instructed.

Rei shot the crucifix up in the air. "CRUCIFORM...TRANSFORM!" Within seconds, Rei was decked out in a black dress identical to Serena's Devil Sailor outfit, only it had a white belt and a black & white Mars symbol across her chest. She had gold bands on her wrists and legs, and had on black high-heels. "I AM VAMPIRE SAILOR REI! Hey, Morgan, did I say that right?"

"Fine," Morgan replied.

"Oh my gosh, Rei, you didn't!" Serena yelled. "Another Devil Sailor?"

"Didn't you hear just now? That's Vampire Sailor!"

"AHA!" Bub turned back to human form the instant he saw Rei. "You thought you could trick me? A Vampire Sailor, eh? A challenge it is then?"

"Hey, where did you come up with the idea that I was gonna fucking challenge you?" Rei snapped in anger.

"Well, if that's the case, then I guess you're not interested in having the antidote for Lita's condition," Bub whipped out a small bottle with red liquid inside of it. "No challenge, no antidote."

"Rei, don't do it!" Morgan warned. "It's a trick!"

"I don't care anymore," Rei clenched her fists in wrath. "I...ACCEPT!"

"And remember, winner takes all!" Bub laughed and opened up a porthole. "Follow if you dare, HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH!!!!"

"Fucking asshole!" Rei leaped in after him. Morgan had no choice but to follow.

"LITA, STOP PICKING ON THAT GIRL AND GET IN HERE THIS INSTANT!" Bub boomed. Lita grunted and stepped inside. Serena was right in the middle of her Moon Healing Activation on Lita and decided, hell, I might as well finish this, and followed Lita. Ami and Mina were left petrified. The porthole closed. Two sparks flew out from the porthole and struck Mina and Ami. Now they had no memory of what had just happened.

"Gosh dammit, hurry up and give me the powers of the Devil Sailor!" Serena whined as she transformed halfway through the porthole to Bub's headquarters, Perdition Point. Even the Devil Sailor Dynasty was said to be over, Serena still made the effort to transform just to help. "Nothing like getting glorified again," she thought happily.

"Rei, you are aware that you have to kill Lita in order to destroy the curse, aren't you?" Morgan asked.

"Unfortunately, yes I am. It's gonna be hell doing it though," Rei gave a heavy sigh. "I know I shouldn't believe him, but Bub did mention something about an antidote, that could release her of the curse, but in the long run keep her alive."

"I wouldn't go for it," Morgan replied. "When at Perdition Point, don't trust anyone."

"Not even each other?" Serena wondered.

"Of course not, shit-for-brains!" Rei retorted. "We have to work together, for Lita's sake!"

"But we'll end up killing her!" Serena countered. "It won't matter a hill of beans no matter how we look at it!"

Finally they arrived. The place seemed familiar, almost like part of the path to Hades' headquarters in the center of Hell. For the most part, it seemed like an eery cavern, with hot lava boiling miles below, flowing through the infamous River Styx.

"I can see why he wanted it here," Morgan looked around the area. "It sure is dark enough."

"Let's just get this over with," Rei declared impatiently. "I don't think I could handle it down here for a long time."

"I'm surprised you wanted to go through with this," Bub boomed in the distance. Only a pair of red eyes showed through the darkness. "It's an even bigger surprise to see that you chose to follow!"

"Asshole, you watched me follow after you!" Rei remarked. "Now let's get this show on the road!"

"Fine!" Bub drew out a monstrous sword and aimed it at Rei's throat. She gulped and stepped back.

"I'm not gonna let you get away with this!" Serena jabbed her Psyche Staff in Bub's face. He snickered and tapped it with his sword. In an instant the entire staff turned to rust and then disintegrated into dust. Serena watched in horror. "My Psyche Staff! It's gone!" Bub disappeared.

"The same will happen to you if you don't shut the fuck up and stay out of this!" Morgan jerked her away and led her away over to an open coffin that held Lita's body. She handed her a wooden stake. "Take this and drive it through her heart!"

"Huh?" Serena grasped onto the stake and held it over Lita's chest.

"Stab her!" Morgan yelled.

"Now?"

Morgan ducked behind a nearby pillar. "No, now."

"Okay..." Serena pulled back the stake and closed her eyes. She slammed the stake down, right into the flesh before. Supposedly she missed, for a great deal of blood spurted back out at her, drenching her immensely. "AACK!"

"Is she dead yet?" Rei asked. She then noticed Serena covered in blood and began to feel a little light-headed. "Where the fuck did that Beelzebub go? I want that damn antidote, and I want it right now!"

"Gosh, you suck, Serena," Morgan scorned. "Whenever you stab a vampire, it all deals with location, location, location."

Serena rammed it in again, and again blood shot back out at her. "Maybe I should put some newspapers down."

Rei's light-headedness finally caught up with her. If there was one thing she couldn't stand, it was blood, and lots of it. Her eyes rolled back into her head, and she fainted onto the ground. Morgan rushed to her side.

"Wake up, Rei!" Morgan shook her awake. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of garlic. "This'll do the trick." She waved it under Rei's nose, and in an instant Rei snapped to.

"Alright, this should do it!" Serena drove it into Lita's heart for a third time. Unfortunately, blood once again spouted out, like Old Faithful. Now Serena was pissed.

"Gosh, Serena, is she dead yet?" Morgan asked impatiently.

"SHE'S DEAD ENOUGH!" Serena hollered back. Little did she know that at that moment, a dark figure was coming up from behind her.

"Serena, watch out!" Morgan warned. But it was too late. At that moment, Bub sank his fangs into Serena's neck. She froze.

"Oh shit!" Rei gasped. "Now you've crossed the line, buddy!" At that moment, a sword formed in her hand. "Woah." She poised it at Bub and gave a snarl. "I'd say it's about even now, wouldn't you?"

"Rei, what about Serena?" Morgan asked.

"Hmm, leave her to me," Rei gave her the sword and took the wooden stake from her belt. "Believe me, I've been wanting to do this for ages!" She lunged at Serena, who simply stood there with an awestruck look on her face. Rei rammed it into her heart, and she collapsed to the ground. Rei then turned to Lita's coffin. She was covered in blood, but in the wrong places. "Well no wonder she had so much trouble! Her aim was off big time!" She then re-drew the stake from Serena and plunged it into Lita. "There, now they're both dead. I just hope there's enough antidote for them." Morgan threw her the sword, and she caught it in surprise.

"Now that you've got them out of the way, you can go at with Bub!" Morgan explained. Rei nodded.

"Fucking bitch," Bub grumbled as he faced Rei. He lunged at her. "DIE!"

"AAHH!" Rei jumped out of the way. "Hmm, if that's the way he wants to play it, it just so happens I have a secret weapon up my sleeve!" She turned back around to him. Morgan watched both of them in the distance. "MARS...RAGING HELL-FIRE...COMBUST!" The great wave of fire went right at Bub, who was stunned. Rei turned her back. "I ain't even gonna watch. Just the thought of the amount of blood he'll lose..."

Bub couldn't see Rei through the flames, and jumped up and lashed out his sword. He managed to see her on the other side now, and decided to just slice her in half. Haplessly, his aim was a teeny-bit off, but he still cut something off Rei.

"Huh?" Rei had felt the gust of the breeze caused by Bub's sword attack, but still didn't turn around. It was at that moment that she felt an abnormal draft under her neck. "What the hell-?" She slowly turned around, and there it sat.

Rumpled in a pile before the fire was her hair. She ran her fingers back through what was left, and it wasn't much. It stopped slightly below her shoulders. "Sssshit," Morgan hissed barely above a whisper.

"Feh," Bub grunted.

She felt numb, her hair had become her most prized possession, and now, and now, it was as though she had instantly become somewhat...uncute. She drew out her sword, and slowly raised it. She focused on Bub. "Ah...ah...ah..." She stopped. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" She charge at Bub at a force unlike any other. She effortlessly drove her sword through him, or so it seemed from her point of view.

Morgan pulled out a wooden dagger from her belt and stepped up behind Bub. He was somewhat stunned by Rei's sudden attack. Instantly, Morgan rammed her dagger through his back, and eventually it went through his heart. Blood began to seep out of his mouth, and he reeled over. Right over the edge of the mountain, right into the River Styx.

Rei caught her breath, then realized that Bub was gone. "Damn you, Morgan, I wanted to stab him." She gave a weak laugh.

"I'm sorry about your hair," Morgan sympathized. "It's gonna take forever to grow back."

"Oh, I guess I'll get used to it," Rei replied. "It'll always remind me of this little adventure."

As they began to walk back to the place where they were dumped off, it finally hit Rei.

"OH SHIT!" Rei exclaimed.

"What?"

"The antidote! I completely forgot!" She cupped her hands over her mouth and turned back to face the corpses of Serena and Lita.

"Rei, I told you it was all a fix. There isn't an antidote, okay-"

At that moment, a small, shiny object fell into Rei's hands. On the bottle was a label that read, ANTIDOTE.

"Hah, Morgan! Get a load of this!" Rei shoved it into her face.

"Well, whaddya know," Morgan smiled.

The two went over to the bodies. Rei opened the bottle and poured it on the two punctures on Lita's neck, then did the same to Serena. Oddly enough, as small a bottle that it was, the liquid seemed to flow on and on, like it was magic or something.

Before Rei and Morgan could see what happened next, a bright light blinded them, and the next thing they knew, they had disappeared.

As the warm air blew through the temple the following afternoon, Rei waited to feel her hair flow in the breeze. It never did. Damn, Rei thought angrily. Why did he have to go and to that?

She ignored the sound of someone opening the sliding door behind her. It was Ami. As she saw the mysterious person before her, she began to wonder where Rei was.

"Um, excuse me," Ami cleared her throat. Rei perked up her head in surprise. "Is Rei here?"

She doesn't know it's me, Rei deliberated. Guess I'd better blow my cover. She slowly got up and turned around, so she could face Ami. "H-hello, Ami."

Ami dropped her books in astonishment. Her jaw dropped. "R-R-Rei? W-what happened? Your HAIR! It's short."

"I, uh, felt like a change, that's all," Rei lied. No use in telling Ami the truth, she would never believe it.

Ami began to grin. Ah, she's becoming more and more like me everyday, Ami thought happily.

At that moment, in walked Mina and Artemis. Artemis was content sitting in Mina's arms, but the instant she saw Rei's new do, she dropped Artemis on the ground. "OH MY GOSH, REI! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?" Mina asked urgently.

"Is it that bad?" Rei wondered. Personally, she thought it was rather nice, a change from her silky long, yet terribly unmanageable hair.

"Now you look like a nerd!" Mina pointed out. "Only nerds and freaks and putzes have hair that short."

"You wanna repeat that, airhead?" Ami raised a fist to Mina's face. "I ain't no fucking putz!"

"Well, as long as Rei's happy with her haircut," Artemis said, "then we shouldn't make any derogatory comments about it."

"Hey, I wonder where Serena is," Ami looked around. "She nor Lita was in school today."

Rei's face turned a bright red. What if the antidote hadn't worked? That would mean...that she was responsible for their deaths! She was the one who had killed them! "Um, Mina, Ami, I have some explaining to do-"

"Hi guys!" An ever-so-perky voice greeted from the doorway. It was Serena. She giggled as she sat down between Mina and Ami. Rei was stunned. Serena was alive? Then that must mean...Rei raised her head to sky and said quietly, "Thank you."

"Where were you today, Serena? You weren't skipping, were you?" Ami asked.

"Gosh no! I had to go give blood today at Minato-ku Hospital. Since I felt a little light-headed afterwards, my mom let me stay home and rest," Serena explained.

"Where's Luna?" Artemis asked.

"Still at the vet. She's getting spayed, remember?"

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" Artemis screamed. "No, please don't say it's so!"

"Oh hush, Artemis," Mina bopped him on the head. "I already made arrangements with Dr. Fraga to have you neutered next week."

"No!" Artemis bawled. "I'll be an it!"

"Serena," Rei said amidst the situation at hand. "Why are you staring at me like that? I thought you of all people would laugh at me constantly!"

"No, your haircut's..." Serena trailed off, trying to think of a word to best describe her do. Snazzy? No. Cool? No. Shitty? In a way... Uncute? Well... Decent? No. Different? Good enough. "It's different."

"Is that all?"

"Well, you kinda look like this macho girl in a comic series that just went out of print," Serena added.

Rei didn't feel like smacking her, supposedly she had expected that sort of response out of Serena. Now for the ¥6,400,000 question: Where the hell was Lita?

After all that she had been through, Rei decided to go to her mother's grave that night just so she could tell her the whole story. "Hey," she said. "You wouldn't believe where I was."

"Wanna bet?" A familiar voice replied from behind. "I thought I'd find you here."

Rei jumped. "Morgan! What are you doing here? Where have you been?"

"Here and there. This place is like a second home to me. I feel comfortable among the dead, but don't take it the wrong way, Rei. It's not like I'm demented or morbid or anything like that."

"I saw Serena today," Rei said. "She came to the temple. It's funny, but to everyone but us it seems as though nothing happened. Why is that?"

"Hell would I know," Morgan shrugged. "What about Lita? Did you see her?"

Rei slowly shook her head. It was at that moment that they heard someone moving around in the graveyard on the other side. "Who's there?" Morgan summoned.

"Huh?" The girl jerked her head over in their direction.

"It's Lita!" Rei exclaimed. "But what is she doing here?"

"What the hell-" Lita glared at Rei. "Rei? Is that you?"

"Uh-huh," Rei nodded. "Why are you here?"

"I'm meeting someone here," Lita replied. "My old boyfriend."

Rei and Morgan froze. Rei suddenly got a pang of strange vibes. These had hit her earlier at the temple when Serena was saying that she had to give blood, but had ignored it. Both of these responses seemed familiar. Could it be? Could history really have a way of repeating itself?

Morgan stepped up to Lita. In an instant, Lita grew infuriated. "Morgan Virago. At last we meet again. Are you gonna try to steal him away from me one more time, is that it?"

"No," Morgan replied. "Lita, listen to me. Ever since last fall, you've misinterpreted the whole situation between me and him. I wasn't stealing him from you. He had a dark side, an incredibly dangerous dark side, and I had to make sure he wouldn't harm you with the dark powers he possessed. I was trying to protect you. You didn't take it that way, though, and well, you've had a grudge against me ever since. Please Lita, don't do it. When you moved to Juuban Junior High, his chances of harming you were lessened. Now he just wants to make up for lost time. The wrong way. Lita, just forget about him. I have. I hate that son of a bitch, okay? Please, you've gotta let up on him. He's dangerous."

Lita thought for a moment, then she nodded. "Hmm, I guess you're right. What was I thinking? That jack-ass," she said. "So, all this time, you weren't stealing him from me?" Morgan shook her head. "Hmm. Guess there's no purpose in being here now, is there?" She started off. "C'mon, Morgan! We've got some catching up to do!" Morgan followed her.

Rei watched them off, happy and relieved. Now history wouldn't do a rerun. Lita and Serena would never get snagged by a vampire, and the whole "He looks like my old boyfriend" bit would hopefully cease to exist, now that Bub was out of the picture.

"You know Lita," Morgan said as they were walking home. "I always hoped for this day. The day we would finally be friends. I'm so glad you're not overly upset about the whole Bub Lucifer scam."

"Huh?" Lita stared at her. "Bub Lucifer? This whole thing was about him?"

"What!? Lita, who the hell else would I be talking about?"

"I don't know. That Akira guy that fought the demons of Hell?2"

Allotment Two: The Prologue and Exodus of Chad and Rei

"I can't believe how late I am!" Rei exclaimed as she shot down the sidewalk at warp speed. "It's like I'm becoming like Serena!" She was so set in getting to school on time that she didn't realize that someone else was charging right at her, at the same speed, if not faster.

BOOM! The two ran into each other. Rei sat up and rubbed her head. "Hey! Watch where you're going, you fucking-"

"I'm sorry, Rei!" Serena brushed herself. "I'm really in a hurry."

"Oh, and I'm not?"

"Rei, I know we're both running late, but do think you have time to give me a teeny-weeny little fire reading before school? Please? I have a major math test today, and I want to know if I'll pass or not," Serena explained.

"No way!" Rei huffed and started off. "Besides, we already know the answer to that question." Serena tugged on her.

"C'mon, please? Pretty please? I'll be your best friend!"

"That's a death threat!"

"Rei, this is really important to me. If I fail this test, I'll fail the eighth grade!"

Rei sighed. "Oh, alright. Come on, but we'll have to be quick. If my grandpa catches me at this time of the morning..." She ran a finger across her neck.

"Gotcha." They both ran to the temple.

"Oh, Sacred Fire, give us a sign to show if Serena here will pass her damn math test," Rei looked into it. "Hmm, strange. Says here you'll pass for sure." She saw Serena's face light up at the response.

"Yea!" Serena grabbed her bag and booked it. "And I didn't even study!"

Rei gave a small snicker. "And to think, I made that load of crap up. She'll fail." She grabbed her bag as well and ran out of the temple, only to be pulled back by Chad. "Uh-oh. Ch-Chad, fancy meeting you here..."

"Likewise," Chad replied. "Don't you realize that it's already a quarter to eight? You're beyond late."

"Well no shit, Sherlock," Rei scoffed. "Just don't tell Grandpa, okay?"

"What will you do for me in return?"

"Uh..." Rei put her head in her hands. Anything but go on a date with, she thought. "Like what?"

"I don't know. Maybe go on a date this weekend?"

Damn, Rei thought, just my luck. "Isn't there anything else I could do for you instead?"

"Listen to my latest song?"

"Okay! I'll go on a date with you," Rei grumbled. She darted off. As she ran down the stairs, she bumped into a young woman clad in an all-black outfit. She woman gave her a suspicious sneer. "That woman gave off some weird vibes," Rei said as she soared down the sidewalk.

Chad watched her off, excited as ever. "At last, Rei's gonna go on a date with me!" His smile disappeared as the woman approached him. "Um, welcome to the Cherry Hill Temple. Would you like a fortune-telling, a fire-reading, a free consultation, or what?"

The woman glared at him. This man will be perfect, she thought deviously. He can be the bait for that bitchy Vampire Sailor. "You don't remember me, Chad darling?" She wrapped her arms around him. "Our band from long ago, The Seraph Sadists?"

Chad's mind went blank. Let's see here, he thought, The Seraph Sadists. There was Daniel, Ant, that pesky Sharon what's-her-name, um, Banana, or something like that, and then there was, there was... "Hey! Sheol! Is that you?"

"Yes," Sheol replied quietly. "I thought I had lost touch of all of you, but I guess I was wrong," she giggled. "And here you are working at a shrine of all places."

"Hey, it wasn't my choice," Chad replied sarcastically. "At first it was for community service hours for that little *theft* I did a while back, but recently I've taken a liking to this place, it's so peaceful, subtle in a-"

"CHAD!" Rei's Grandpa bellowed from the back room. "Get in here and clean this mess up! And if I have to listen to that damn boombox at the most absolute loudest volume at night again, then I'll have your head on a platter, and I'll see to it that that's exactly what happens!"

"You were saying?" Sheol asked in surprise.

"Um, now's not a good time to talk," Chad said. "You wanna meet someplace, like at a restaurant tonight or something and catch up?"

"No need for that," Sheol replied. "I'll come back here, at about midnight, okay?" Chad nodded. Sheol started off. "See ya later." She walked down the steps in an overly-feminine manner, almost like a bimbo if you will.

"Something about her," Chad scratched his head in confusion. He shrugged and began his chores.

As the bell rang at T*A Academy, the students poured out like a stampede. Luckily Morgan wasn't trampled upon. She eagerly waited for Rei. She was among the last of the students to file out.

"What took you so long?" Morgan asked impatiently.

"Stupid teacher kept me after class. I had to tell him the reason why I was late this morning. I simply told him I had to give a *customer* a fire reading. He believed me, so I'm off the hook," Rei explained. "Why did you meet me here?"

"Something's up, I just know it," Morgan pushed her along. "I'm getting these strange vibes that possibly another vampire is in the area."

"Really?" Rei replied glumly. "Damn, and I suppose we have to go destroy it?"

"Mm-hmm," Morgan nodded. "That is, if I knew who it was. Discovering Bub was a cinch, but this one, it's really hard to pen-point on who it could be. I wouldn't get worked up over this just yet. I'm gonna have to investigate."

"Well, you know," Rei began. "When I was leaving the temple this morning, I bumped into this mysterious woman. She wore all black, and come to think of it, she seemed awfully pale. She also gave off some unusual vibes. You think...perhaps she's the one?"

"Hmm, according to my knowledge of the league of vampires," Morgan looked up. "Female vampires are very rare. On the list that I've acquired, there's only one listed. Her name was Sheol."

"Sheol?"

"Yes, according to legend, however, she's quite the push-over type, and usually bites someone just so they can do the dirty work for her. She almost never puts up a fight."

"Well, I'd really love to learn more, Morgan, really I would, but I've gotta get to the temple now," Rei slowly backed away, then darted down the sidewalk. Morgan rolled her eyes.

"Hmmph. Mortals," she snorted.

That night, Chad sat agitated in his room. As far as he knew, everyone else had gone to sleep.

"What's taking her so long?" Chad glanced at his watch. 11:59pm. "Just like a woman, fashionably late."

Midnight. At that exact moment, the window flew open on its own, and in came Sheol.

"I kept my word, Chad. 12 o'clock midnight, on the dot. Now then, how's about us catching up on the great events of yesteryear," she curled up next to him.

"Uhh..." Chad began to sweat. What if Rei saw this? "Sheol, wait. I've already got a girl."

"Do you really?"

"Well...sort of. She's a bit younger than me, like about eight years, give or take, but man, she's just so...cute, it's not even funny. Maybe one day in the future, she have the honor of being Mrs. Rei-"

"Rei? Did you just say her name was Rei?" Sheol's eyes grew huge. So, the Vampire Sailor is closer than I thought, Sheol deliberated. She got closer to Chad. He pushed her off.

"Sheol! No! We were never meant to be! Dontcha remember? Sharon what's-her-face, um Orange had the hots for me, not you! You always hung all over that Daniel Taraschke guy! You know, the big muscular one?"

"He's part of the past!" As Sheol prepared to neck him, her fangs sank into his skin. Now he was under her spell. "Aha! At last! Now you will only listen...to me!" She cackled. "Chad, these are your orders. Bring me Vampire Sailor Rei! I want her, dead or alive, it doesn't matter! I give you twenty-four hours to do so! If you fail..." She pulled out a huge sword and gently held it over his...um...genitalia. "...you'll learn a new meaning of pain, got that?" Chad nodded nervously.

"Leave it to me," Chad replied deviously. "I'll apprehend Vampire Sailor Rei."

Chad woke up the next morning with a horrible headache. As he sat up slowly, he noticed a note on his nightstand. He unfolded it and began to read...

Dear Chad,

I hope you still remember your mission. You have until midnight tonight to capture that wretched Vampire Sailor Rei. I have given you a weapon in which you will use to kill her with. Oh yeah, by the way, I changed my mind. I only want her dead. And another thing, if you used to be a virgin, well, I've changed all that, if you know what I mean (wink-wink, nudge-nudge). See you tonight.

Sheol

"Damn," Chad replied slowly. "Hmm, I hope I enjoyed it." He put on his kendo outfit and sauntered down the hall, stopping at Rei's doorway. Never one to be modest, Rei had her door wide open while she was getting dressed. Chad studied her only for a few seconds before entering. "Might as well get this over with." He drew out the wooden stake Sheol had left him with and charged at Rei. Rei was in the process of getting her bra on when he lunged at her.

"Huh?" Rei spun around, and watched as Chad flew onto her bed. He got up and stared at her bare body. "YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Rei screamed. "YOU FUCKING PERVERT! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY ROOM THIS INSTANT!" With all the rage she had, she lifted Chad over her head and flung him out the room. "Honestly! That bastard, how dare he?" She finished getting dressed and went to the kitchen. Chad followed her. On her way, she paused and bent over. Chad took this as an opportunity to stab her. "Hey, I can't forget my books, can I?" As she picked up her schoolbag, Chad prepared to kill her, but when Rei slung her schoolbag over her shoulder, it knocked Chad down on the floor.

"What the hell does she have in there?" He muttered. "A bowling ball?"

Rei turned around and saw him sprawled out on the floor. "Chad! What are you doing, stalking me?" She grabbed the stake from his hand. "And why do you have this? Geez, you could kill yourself with this thing!" She stormed off. "He's acting really strange this morning. And the vibes I'm getting from him aren't anything to overlook either." She went on to the kitchen.

After having a hearty breakfast of okonomiyaki from the night before, Rei set out for school. Little did she know that Chad was coming up behind her again, with a newly sharpened stake. As Rei threw open the doors, Chad shot back into the shadows like a schizophrenic cat.

"Man, it's so sunny today," Rei squinted her eyes and went outside. She saw the newspaper at the top of the stairs, but knew she couldn't stop to get it. "Hey Chad! Get the paper in! And for gosh sakes, don't lose the obituaries and horoscopes like you did yesterday!" She darted off.

"Moi? Get the paper in?" Chad sneered. "Who know's what'll happen to me if I go out there?" Still, he knew he had to do it. Using the nearby broom, he stuck it out, so it could pull the paper in. Success! "I'm a smarty everyday!" He beamed. "Now, I need a plan to snag Rei this afternoon..." He thought for a second. "Hmm, this thinking stuff hurts. How can anyone do this for a long period of time? Now let's see here...

That afternoon came the customary every-48 hours-meeting for the Sailor Scouts at the temple. As usual, everyone but Serena had shown up on time. Artemis wasn't there, and Luna had become concerned for him.

"Mina, where's Artemis?" Luna asked.

"Oh, he's still pissed off about getting surgery this weekend," Mina sighed. "I mean, it's not like getting neutered is fatal. He's taking this really hard."

"Well, duh, of course he is," Lita scoffed. "Soon he'll be neither male nor female. In my German class, he would now be classified as das Katze (das is used on German words that are neutered gender wise, and die is used for feminine words, and cats in general) instead of die Katze."

"Lita, are you trying to rub this in my face?" Mina wondered.

"Look, Mina, no one gives a shit about that damn cat, we've got more important business to discuss," Ami interrupted.

"Like what?"

"Oh, I don't know. I just don't want to hear about that, okay?"

Rei pretended to be listening, but was really paying attention to her fire-reading. "Give me a sign about Chad. Since this morning, he's tried to kill me seven times, four since I've come home! Did he get drunk again or something?" Her reading was interrupted by Serena barging into the room.

"Rei! Do something about that boy toy of yours! He tried to kill me with a wooden stake!" Serena complained.

"That does it," Rei got to her feet. "He's going too far! There has to something wrong with him if he'll stoop as low as to try and kill Serena! That's my dream!" She went into the front hallway, but saw or heard nothing. "Chad! Show yourself!"

A figure emerged from the shadows, with a pair of fangs shining in the light. "Now...die Rei!!!" He lunged at her.

"EEEK!" Rei jumped up and slapped a piece of parchment on his head. "Evil being within, be gone!" The parchment disintegrated into dust and fell onto the ground. Rei gasped. Could he be...? Her thinking was disturbed by a whistle from the bottom of the front stairs. It was Morgan.

"Rei!" She hissed. "Meet me in the graveyard...tonight! It's an emergency!"

Chad tried to get her again. Rei took this time to hit him over the head with a kotatsu (a short table found in Japanese homes). "That'll keep him for a while." She went back inside the room.

"What's with him?" Lita asked as Rei came back into the room abruptly.

Rei ignored her question and stormed right by them. "Meeting's adjourned," she said briskly. "Go home."

"Huh?" Everyone was confused.

"I said GO HOME! Do all of you have a mental block or something? Get the hell outta here!" Rei snapped. The girls quickly got to their feet and hurried out the door, everyone that is, except Serena. She hung back.

"Rei, is something wrong? You wanna talk about it?" She asked kindly.

Rei looked down and breathed slowly. She was becoming incredibly fed up at about this time. "Serena..."

"Yeah?"

"...GET OUT OF HERE!" With that, Rei slung Serena out the door, ignoring her cries from falling down the stairs. As she went back inside, she failed to see that Chad was starting to come to from under the kotatsu. His eyes narrowed at her. "I just can't put up with them when Chad is acting like this. There's gotta be an explanation. Hmm, perhaps if he is possessed by a vampire, maybe it happened the same way like when Lita got bitten, by an old friend. Maybe this vampire is posing as one of his old friends. I think I know just where to find out who..." She went inside his bedroom. The place looked like ground-zero, with clothes strewn everywhere and various instruments all over the place. She lifted up a pile of clothes to reveal a small, black book. "...his little black book!" She began flipping through the pages, landing on some at random. "Hmm, Nicky Thompson, Eve, Misty May, Sharon Kiwi...say, I always thought her last name was Grape or Strawberry or something like that. Man, it's right on the tip of my tongue too." She stopped on one page in particular, the S page. "Saotome, Sheol, Shiratori...hey, wait a second!" The stopped on one same that stood out above the rest. "Sheol. I remember hearing about that name somewhere..." She tried to remember, and then it hit her.

"Hmm, according to my list of the league of vampires, female vampires are very rare. On the list that I've acquired, there's only one listed. Her name is Sheol. She's a real pushover, and usually only bites someone just they can do her dirty work."

"Now I remember! Morgan was telling me about her yesterday. What else is there about her?" She continued reading. "...member of the Seraph Sadists, 1986-1989, loved Daniel Taraschke, blood type none, birthdate 31/10/66..." She looked down at miscellaneous information. "...really pale, hated the outdoors, had a strange obsession with death..." Rei closed the book abruptly. "I think this is all the information I need to confirm that...Sheol is a vampire and now Chad is one too!" Just as she was about to fling the book back into the piles of mess, a piece of folded up paper fell out. On it was a heart with an arrow through it that said Chad ©s R.H. "R.H? I wonder who that is?" She unfolded it and read the title. "The Prologue and Exodus of My Life" Underneath it mentioned something that totally took her by surprise. "Dedicated to R.H." She began to read it.

"The Prologue and Exodus of My Life"

People always say, "he's a real man"

"And only he can do the things he can"

"Nothing can hurt him," it was said.

"Nothing can get inside his head."

But you rip me apart

You got my weakness, my heart.

You change me, you bring out my kindness

In this world filled with darkness

You are my only source of light.

In this world filled with violent war

You are my peaceful fight

I lose myself in your soft voice.

Only to find myself in your beautiful eyes

I can't help to love you, I have no choice.

The one thing I can't tell you is my lies

Whenever I'm with you, the world stops

Being with you is all I want to do

I can't control it, you make me feel so hot

I just want to say, "I love you."

You and I together make one, not two

Without you I am always so terrified

I want to make sweet love to you.

With you I am ever so satisfied.

"Wow," Rei sighed. "That was so beautiful. Man, whoever R.H. is, they are so lucky. If a guy ever wrote a poem like that for me, I would love them forever." She stood up and shrugged. "Now, to take care of Chad!" She stormed outside.

Oddly enough, Chad didn't seem to be paying her a bit of mind and was mopping the floor of the fire-reading room when she entered.

"Try to keep a low profile," Rei told herself. "Can't let him know that you know too." Just as she was about to pass the giant flame, Chad struck her with his mop. Rei only had a matter of seconds to dodge it, which she managed to in the nick of time. Grabbing the mop by one hand, she broke it in two over her knee. "Don't even think it, vampire." As she continued on her way, he picked up the rather large bucket and flung the water at her. Once again she passed it, and it splashed right into the flame, putting it out on the spot. Rei stared at it in shock.

"CHAD!!!! HOW COULD YOU!? THAT WAS THE HINO ETERNAL FLAME! IT HASN'T BEEN PUT OUT FOR OVER FOUR-HUNDRED YEARS!!!" Rei yelled in anguish. "Now I can never face Grandpa again! You've shamed our family!" She darted into the kitchen and brought back a lighter. She quickly knelt down and tried to re-light it. "It's a good thing Grandpa is out of town this week, or else I'd be expelled from this place at about this time." A small flame flickered over the huge pit. Rei was desperate. She ran out of the room again and came back with some lighter fluid, and dumped it on the flame. Instantly the enormous flame took shape again. "Whew," Rei wiped the sweat off her forehead. "It's looks just like the original flame. No one will know the awful truth. Now Rei faced another problem. What was she supposed to do about Chad? As she turned around to tell him off again, she realized that he wasn't there. "Chad?" She called out. "Where did he go?"

GUESS WHO! YEP, IT'S ME, YOUR BUDDY, THE ANNOYING FANFIC CENSOR. NO, I'M NOT HERE TO RUIN YOUR ENJOYMENT, BUT TO POINT OUT AN INTERESTING POINT TO YOU THAT WOULD OTHERWISE CONFUSE YOU IMMENSELY FOR THE REST OF THE STORY.

YOU SEE, AT THE END OF ALLOTMENT ONE, WHEN THE ANTIDOTE ACTIVATED, THIS ALSO ACTIVATED A TIME LAPSE THAT EXPLAINED WHY WE ONCE AGAIN GOT TO HEAR ABOUT SERENA GIVING BLOOD AT THE HOSPITAL, AND LITA MEETING HER OLD BOYFRIEND IN THE GRAVEYARD. EVEN THOUGH MORGAN AND REI KNEW WHAT HAD HAPPENED, THIS ALSO AFFECTED THEM, AS YOU WILL SOON FIND OUT. TRY TO THINK ABOUT THIS AND PERHAPS IT WILL ANSWER THE QUESTION: WHY HASN'T REI TRANSFORMED YET TO FIGHT CHAD? AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME WHEN BUB GOT LITA, MORGAN GAVE REI THE MAGICAL CRUCIFIX, RIGHT? RIGHT. WELL, BECAUSE THIS DIDN'T RE-OCCUR WHEN HISTORY SORT OF REPEATED ITSELF, REI NEVER GOT THE CRUCIFIX. ARE YOU STILL WITH ME? I AIN'T JUST DOING THIS FOR MY HEALTH, AM I, BECAUSE I ALREADY KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. THE ONLY WAY FOR REI TO TRANSFORM IS FOR MORGAN TO GIVE HER THE CRUCIFIX, IN WHICH SHE NOW HAS TO WAIT TILL MIDNIGHT TO GET. IN THE MEANTIME, THE ONLY THING REI CAN DO IS STALL CHAD, AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.

WELL, I THINK THAT BEST EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

Night time came quickly. Rei had managed to keep away from Chad. As she sat in her bedroom, she looked at her clock. 11:45pm. "It's so late. Oh well, guess I'd better get ready to go see Morgan." She sauntered outside. Just as she was about to step out through the front door, a pair of arms wrapped around her tightly. She couldn't move. "Wha-FUCK! Let me go!"

"Now I can finally get you! I ain't stalling anymore!" Chad threatened. He pulled from his belt a wooden stake, and aimed it at her chest. She gulped.

"Gotta get away from him," Rei stuttered. Once again she tried to move, but he only held onto her with more might.

"Time to die!" He yanked back the stake, then drove it at her skin. Rei closed her eyes tightly, knowing that she was going to die at any given moment. After staying in a frightened state for about five minutes, she slowly opened her eyes. Nothing had happened. The stake remained aimed at her heart, but wouldn't move any closer. Rei knew she couldn't get loose, and figured he was just fooling.

"Come on, dammit! Stab me! Get it over with!" She turned her head and stared at his face. His eyes looked so cold at a distance, but as she looked into them more, she noticed something. Running down his face were...tears. His teeth remained clenched. "Chad? What's with you? Why won't you stab me?"

At this moment, Morgan passed the temple, and noticed Chad holding Rei. "Not a moment too soon," she murmured. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the Magical Crucifix. "REI! CATCH!"

Rei caught the crucifix. "Hmm, you snooze, you lose, Chad," She shot up her crucifix. "CRUCIFORM...TRANSFORM!" Within a few seconds, she was clad in her Vampire Sailor attire. "I AM VAMPIRE SAILOR REI!" She pulled from her belt her own stake. "You're a little confused, Chad. You're the one who's supposed to get stabbed, not me!"

"NO, I THINK YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S CONFUSED!" A voice cackled from high above. It was Sheol. "YOU NEED TO BE PUNISHED!"

"Oh my gosh, you're sick!!!" Rei wrinkled her nose in disgust.

"Rei, get your head out of the fucking gutter! Get her with your sword!" Morgan yelled.

"My sword?"

"Rei, what's with you? Your sword! Your sword!" Morgan shook her shoulders.

"But what about Chad?"

"Screw him for the time being! Sheol's more important!" Morgan whispered into her ear. "Don't worry, she's a cinch."

Or so she thought. At that moment, Sheol revved up an amazing amount of power. Just as Rei was about to attack her, she shot out an array of giant claws, which pierced right through the floor. Rei found it hard to dodge them.

"Morgan, you asshole! You lied to me!" Rei drew her sword and tried to get closer.

"Um, did I mention that that was really just an awful rumor?" Morgan saw that this didn't help any, and drew out her own sword. "Don't worry, Rei! I'll help you!"

Rei ran from side to side, lucklessly dodging the claws. They were coming out faster and faster, and she was getting dizzy from how fast they were flying. She tried to move, but oddly enough, she couldn't. She was frozen. It was as though she was living her worst nightmare, where she was paralyzed, and was in immediate danger.

"REI! GET OUTTA THE WAY!" Morgan warned. But it was too late. A monstrous one, aimed right at Rei's head, came reeling in at her at about half the speed of light. Rei was frozen in fear. She was going to die...

...WRONG!!!! Just when all hope seemed lost, a strong force from the side knocked Rei out of the way, and she, along with the cumbersome figure, slid across the floor, and stopped some feet away. Rei had fainted.

Now Morgan had to face Sheol on her own. "What kind of a vampire would use shitty weapons like that? No vampire uses those!" Morgan huffed. She used her sword to slash many of the claws in half, and then aimed it at Sheol.

"YOU'LL NEVER DEFEAT ME!" Sheol boomed.

"Hah! Wanna bet?" Just as Morgan was about to slash her, something caught her eye. "Hello...what's this?" It was a small glass bottle, containing red liquid.

"NO! DON'T TOUCH THAT!"

"You know something?" Morgan rammed her sword through her flesh. Sheol quieted down. "You talk..." She tabbed her with the stake. "...way too much!" Sheol was destroyed. Morgan took the bottle from Sheol's belt and held onto it. "Now where did that Rei go?"

Rei awoke, and popped up at what had happened. "What happened?" She stared at the figure who had knocked her down. "Ch-Chad? You saved me?"

He opened his eyes slowly. "Rei..." he murmured. "I saved you because I love you."

"But you're still a vampire! Sheol did that to you, I know she did because I read her little bio in your little black book. How can still have feelings for me?"

"Did you find the poem in there?" Chad asked weakly.

"The...one about the exodus of your life?"

"Yah."

"What about it. It was really sweet. What lucky girl did you write it for?"

"Do the initials R.H. ring a bell?"

"R.H? Who's that?" Rei was clueless for the time being.

"Well, she's in this room..."

Hmm, could it be Morgan? Nah, her initials are M.V. But that only leaves one other girl, and if my name ain't Rei Hino... Her jaw dropped. Her face instantly became crimson.

"Y-you're the lucky girl, Rei," Chad said.

"M-me?" Rei was shocked. Why didn't she figure it out before? "Oh, Chad. I can't believe it. You wrote that...just for me."

"I meant every word of it. Ever since I came here, I've had this humongous crush on you, but I was always too shy," Chad said.

Rei remembered that day, only differently. She remember snubbing him, being rude to him, acting like a total bitch around him, she never gave him the time of day, and now that he had told her his feelings in such a way... Tears welled up in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around him, tighter than ever. "OH CHAD!" She began to cry.

"REI! GET AWAY FROM HIM! IT'S ALL A TRICK!" Morgan pried her off of him. She looked at her neck. "Oh, thank goodness. He didn't get you. Rei, you know what you have to do."

"But Morgan, I can't do it."

"Rei, it's for the better."

"But, but, but..."

"Rei," Chad put a hand on her shoulder. Her whimpering stopped. "Please, you have to do this. For the sake of both our lives, put me out of my misery."

"Chad, I can't do this!"

Morgan thrust the stake into her hands, and aimed it at Chad's heart. "Rei, you have to do this. Believe me, you'll appreciate this later on."

Rei felt the lump in her throat grow larger as she steadied it and slowly brought it closer. Chad looked at her calmly. "It's okay, Rei. I'll always love you, no matter what." He placed his hands over hers on the stake and jerked it into his flesh.

"CHAD!!! NOOO!" His hands dropped to the ground. Rei began to cry loudly. "Why? Why did you have to do that?" She looked at him once more. At least he had died with a smile on his face. "Chad, I LOVE YOU!"

"Oh, for the love of mankind, cut the melodrama," Morgan said sharply. "I got the antidote right here."

"Huh? You do?" Rei grabbed it. "Why didn't you say so before?" She opened it up and dumped it on Chad. Before she and Morgan could tell what was going on, everything went white, and then, nothing.

"Huh? What time is it?" Rei looked over at her clock. 7:25am. "OH SHIT! I'M LATE AGAIN!" She hurried to get dressed, and raced out the door before her Grandfather could see her. "My teacher's gonna kill me!"

She tore down the sidewalk at break-neck speed, until someone blocked her path. They waved their hands to force her to stop, but Rei ignored them and crashed into the person instead. She quickly got up and brushed herself off.

"SERENA!!! Not again!" Rei's face turned red.

"But this is the first time this has happened!" Serena corrected.

"Huh?" A strange pang of vibes went through Rei. I get it now! she thought. Whenever Morgan or I pour the antidote on a victim, everything up until that point is erased, and now it's the day before over again!

"Rei, I know this is sudden, but I desperately need a fire-reading," Serena begged.

"I had a feeling about this," With that, Rei opened her schoolbag and pulled out a lighter.

"Rei? You smoke!?"

"Of course not!" She flipped it on. A small flame arose. "Now what's your question?"

"Will I pass my final examinations?"

"Let's find out. Oh, Sacred Lighter, will Serena pass her finals?" She hesitated a few moments. "My sources say yes."

"ALRIGHT!" Serena jumped up and down. "Now Lita owes me ¥2000!!!"

"Well, you have to take your exams first," Rei pointed out.

"Yeah, but the fire said I'd pass, so I already know I won the bet," Serena replied.

"Oh yeah? Sacred Lighter, will Serena win the bet? No."

"Huh?"

"I think that even if you do pass, you have to get a higher grade, and that may prove to be a bigger challenge," Rei explained.

Serena tried to make a comeback, but ended up by giving a huff and walking off. Rei laughed.

"Guess my work here is done," Rei started on her way. Despite the fact that she was late for school, Rei decided to take it easy. After all, she did deserve it for fighting the vampires. Without even looking behind her, she tossed the open lighter off into the distance, only to hear an explosion and a shrill scream. As she turned to see what had happened, she noticed an exploded gas tank, Mina burnt to a crisp, and Artemis struggling to get loose. When he was, he shot down the sidewalk at warp speed.

"Ha-ha! I'm free! I'm free! Tell Dr. Fraga to kiss my ass good-bye!" He whooped. "So long, suckers! Sayonara!" He disappeared.

"Artemis...?" Rei watched him off with a confused expression. Mina was still stiff from the explosion, and Rei stepped up to her and giggled. "I wouldn't wear so much hairspray next time, Mina!" She skipped off.

A couple feet later, Rei stopped. She hadn't thought of it until then. She remember right before she "stabbed" Chad that they both exchanged their feelings for each other. Even though he had no memory of what had happened, Rei did. She had never felt this way about a guy before, not even about Darien. She ran back to the temple. She quietly snuck in and found Chad at the table eating his breakfast. She knew what she had to do.

"Hmm, missing persons. Ryoga Hibiki still reported missing," Chad read. "Man, he must have like, the worst sense of direction or something. What an idiot." He flinched when Rei put a hand on his shoulder. He whirled around to face her, surprised. "Rei? You're supposed to be in school!"

Rei shrugged, as if to say, who gives a shit about school? "Chad, I know this may sound sudden, but can I ask you something?"

"Oh, alright, I'll unstop the toilet again." He rose to his feet, but Rei pulled him back.

"It's not that. Chad, I know this may sound really crazy coming from me, but I was wondering...would you like to go on a date with me this Saturday?" Rei eagerly awaited an answer.

Chad's face turned bright red. "I-I don't know what to say..."

"How about yes!"

"I...I...I accept! Yes, I will go out with you!" Chad replied nervously. "I-I've never been so happy in all my life! I feel like singing!"

"Really? Then, may I make a request?"

"What?"

"If you really want to sing, would you sing The Prologue and Exodus of My Life? That's my favorite," Rei suggested. "Well, look at the time," Rei glanced at her watch. "I gotta go. See ya this afternoon!" She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and darted off.

"Woah, gnarly," Chad responded as he felt his cheek. "But how did she know about that song? I just wrote it last night."

Rei skipped down the street, happy as ever. She had never felt so good about doing something nice for someone else. Maybe she was finally starting to really learn about love, and that sometimes it's the person you least expect to love you the most. Rei began to hum a tune as she skipped into her schoolyard. She had no idea that it was the same tune to the song Chad was singing, which had just been dubbed as their song.

Allotment Three: Rei takes on the World

"CHAD!!!" Rei shrieked. "You broke the damn shower!" Rei stormed out of the bathroom, wrapped tightly in a towel, her hair plastered against her head. She threw open Chad's bedroom door and stood there, huffing as loud as she could.

"Oh, done so soon?" Chad looked up from his WHAU Newsletter to see Rei red with fury. "Hey, get a load of this! The Luna Ball is Satan!"

Rei's clenched teeth disappeared. "The hell you say." She put her arms around him and began to nuzzle up against him. "Chad...darling..."

"Huh?" Chad began to blush. Rei turned on the sweet and seductive look.

"Chad..."

"Rei?"

"WHY THE HELL DID YOU DAMAGE THE SHOWER!!?" She wrung his neck with all her might. "Right when I was in the middle of washing my hair, the water turned freezing cold, then it stopped! Thanks to you, my hair's gonna stiffen, and I'm gonna look like some dickweed from the 1980's!" She continued to choke him. "And, to make matters worse, I haven't even shaved my legs yet! I look like a mother-fucking Sasquatch!!"

"Rei, calm down," Chad grabbed a hold of her shoulders. "I'm sorry. The plumber's coming tomorrow."

"Tomorrow!? Are you trying to say I have to go to school like this!?"

"Rei, for gosh sakes, you can go to the public baths!" Her grandpa yelled from down the hall. "Don't blame Chad for everything, that's my job!"

Rei sighed. "Fine, I'll go!" She stormed back out. Within a few minutes, she walked back down the hall, a duffle bag under one arm. She slammed the door shut and raved down the stairs. "Why didn't I think of this sooner?" She wandered down the sidewalk.

It appeared that everyone else had gotten the same idea by the time Rei made to the Minato-ku Local Bathhouse. The line stretched for almost two blocks. Many of the people soon gave up and went home, swearing under their breath. Then the line began to move. Faster and faster. Rei anxiously looked for her friends, but found no one, until...

"Rei, what the hell's going on?" A voice asked from off to the side. It was Morgan. "Is this like some popular hangout?"

"Um..." Rei trailed off. "It seems that this place is busier than usual."

"What is this place? A pool? But it's almost winter!"

"Are you dense, Morgan? This is a public bathhouse! Many people come here to bathe, sometimes because their showers are broken (like mine), sometimes just to soak up the atmosphere, so to speak," Rei explained.

Morgan gave her a questioned look. "What's a bathhouse? Is it like a big tub?"

"You mean you've never been?"

"Do you have to be a certain age in order to come?" Her question was soon answered when a bunch of screaming rugrats burst through the line, and into the door.

"Let me get this straight. You've never come here before? No vampires have tried to come here?" Rei asked.

"Contrary to popular belief, vampires and water don't mix, unless-"

"Shut-up, we have to sign in."

"Sign...in?"

"Yes, just sign your name right here," The woman pointed to a sheet. Rei automatically recognized three names, a scribbled Serena Tsukino, a neat and tidy Ami Mizuno, and a fairly normal Lita Kino. The woman looked up and glared at Rei. She had deep, red eyes, and snowy white hair. As soon as Rei was done, the woman pushed it over to Morgan, who took a step back.

"Um...no thanks," Morgan waved her hand.

"But it's required. Everyone has to sign up," the woman said coolly.

"I...don't want to."

"Morgan! Just take the fucking pen, and sign your damn name! It's not that hard!" With that, Rei snatched the pen and clipboard, and scribbled down Morgan's name. "There. She's with me, okay?"

The woman nodded and looked down the list. "Hmm, Morgan Virago, eh? Interesting name."

"It's one of a kind."

"I'll say," Rei grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away. "C'mon, let's go change."

"Ch-change?"

The woman continued to glare at Morgan's name. "Morgan Virago. At last our paths cross once again."

Rei finished washing her hair long before Morgan even started, and proceeded to go into the public bathing area. On her way out, she passed Mina and Ami.

"Oh, you're here too, Mina?" Rei wondered.

"Yep. It's weird, but not only mine, but all my friend's showers broke this morning. That's why we all came down here," Mina said.

"Are you kiddin'? The same thing happened to me too," Ami shuddered. "I was right in the middle of applying my hair dye (Inside joke. Watch the show.), and then...poof! The water stopped." She proceeded to get undressed.

"Well, I'll see you guys out there, okay?" Rei sauntered off.

Mina and Ami exchanged glances. "You don't suppose, the same reason while we're here, is the same reason why everyone else is..." Mina trailed off.

"...here as well? This is kinda eery, almost as though someone is setting a trap for all of us," Ami completed. "Maybe it's the Negaverse."

"Woah, you think so? I never thought of that."

"Hey," A girl tapped both of their shoulders at the same time. She had chin-length brown hair, and was clad in a magenta bathing suit. "I'd watch my underclothes if I were you."

"Huh?"

"I warned ya!" She ducked out of the room. Once again, Mina and Ami exchanged glances.

"What the fuck was with her? She can't go out there in that!" Ami snapped.

"Who knows-" All of a sudden, Mina felt an odd draft, followed by the howling laughter of an old man, which is exactly what it was. He only seemed about a foot tall, and he bounced through the area, waving around a pair of orange underwear.

"Ah, my silky darling! What a haul! What a haul!" The man shrieked. He was followed by a stark-naked girl with bright red hair and a pigtail.

"Come back here, you little freak!" She charged after him.

"EEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!!!" Mina shrilled. "That thing took my underwear!"

"Ha-ha-ha-ha! Ranma, you'll never catch me!" The man howled. He ran and hid under a wooden bucket.

"Happosai, you're gonna pay!" Ranma threatened.

"Why Mina," Ami blushed. "You're mooning me."

"Shut the fuck up, Ami. Besides, that's Serena's job (A sick pun. I guess mooning is in Sailor Moon's department, then again, maybe I do have a lot of free time on my hands. -your friendly fanfic writer)," Mina pushed her against the wall and stormed out. Ami reluctantly followed.

"Wow, this is sooo relaxing," Lita sunk into the cool water. As crowded as it seemed outside, the giant bathing pool was sparsely filled. Only a few girls seemed to be in the area. The male side seemed crowded, and only the sounds of immature men filled the air. The Sailor Scouts all stood side by side, while three of Mina's friends from school stood on the far side.

"I'll say. I'd rather come here and bathe rather than use the shower at home," Serena said. "No slippery bottom, no runny shampoo, and best of all, no Sammy." She began to blow bubbles in the water.

"Having a good time, Serena?" Rei knocked her forward. Serena gave her the finger.

"Then there's the disadvantages," Serena scowled. She splashed some water in Rei's eyes. Rei returned this gesture. This continued on for a good ten minutes, before Lita broke them up.

"Gosh dammit, it's like we can't go anywhere without you two raising a giant stink about something," Lita chided.

"She started it!" Serena pointed her finger at Rei. Rei grabbed her finger and cracked the knuckle. Hard. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Her bottom lip trembled, then she quieted down and swam a little ways away.

"Amazing. You actually shut her up," Ami grinned.

"All in the wrist," Rei replied happily.

Not so far away, Mina's friends were having their own conversation.

"Hey, I thought Jen came with us," Jamie said. "Where is she? Is she embarrassed about coming out? It's not so bad. I'm not scared."

"That's because you have nothing to show," Angela retorted. She dunked Jamie underneath the water. Jamie shot back up.

"At least mine can't be used as flotation devices!" Jamie shot back.

"Getting back to the question at hand," Renee interrupted. "It seems that security caught Jen in the act of coming out. They're so convinced that she's a he that they won't release her. I just wish Katrina could be here. Too bad that damn broken arm's keeping her at home."

"Boy, will those guys be surprised when they find out that Jen's really a guy," Angela laughed. "Poor Jen!"

"By the way, where's Emily?"

"Oh, her. She's at home, studying for her German test," Jamie answered. "Now, me on the other hand, you don't see me cramming for such a slack test." She gave a look of pride and conceitedness to Angela. Angela had her own gameplan. Just as she was about to put it into action...

"HEY, ANGELA!!" A voice cried from the male's side. "Wow! I'm in heaven!"

"Huh-EEEP!" Angela grabbed a bar of soap and tossed it at the guy. "ANTHONY!!! Leave me the hell alone!" Ant quickly fell back to the other side.

"Yep, no studying for me!" Jamie continued.

"Then how 'bout," Angela dunked her under again. "That 34 on your Algebra test!?" She and Renee laughed. "What a freak." She crossed her arms over her chest and waited for Jamie to come back up. Nothing. Not even some bubbles. Angela began to grow concerned. "Mmm? Say, Jamie, you uh, wanna come up for some air?" She waited some more. "I know you ain't that strong." She decided to yank Jamie up. As she stuck her arms down, it was much to her surprise to see or feel nothing. She kicked her foot around and felt nothing. "Something's wrong here. Hey Renee-" She whirled around and saw no one. She quickly looked around, but it seemed that now only her and the Sailor Scouts were in the pool. "Renee? Renee? RENEE!!!" No response. Now Angela was terrified. She quickly swam over to Serena, who was still by herself, and pulled on her hair. Serena spun around.

"Huh? Aren't you one of Mina's friends? What's wrong? Where are the others?" Serena asked.

"They-they-THEY FUCKING DISAPPEARED!!!" Angela shook her shoulders in horror.

"Disappeared? Are you sure? Maybe they went to the bathroom," Serena said.

"The bathroom?"

"You know, we all get the urge to go there sooner or later," Serena replied nonchalantly.

"Are you trying to sound funny? I'm dead serious-AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" Angela suddenly felt a strong tugging on her foot, and then she lost her footing. She yanked onto Serena's hair with all her might. Serena almost lost her balance as well and tried to hold onto the side. Angela was being pulled in a violent speed. Lita noticed the two in despair and tried to pull Serena away, but it was too late. In the seconds that followed, Angela was taken under, followed by Serena. Lita managed to hang back. She watched to see if the two would come up, but, just like before with Jamie and Renee, nothing happened.

"Serena! Can you hear me?" Lita was scared. "OH MY GOSH!! SERENA'S DROWNED!" She stuck her head underneath, and her mouth opened in surprise. There seemed to be a black void in the center, and it was sucking like a vacuum to all the girls around it. All of a sudden, a claw flew out and tackled Lita. She thrashed about, and popped her head up for air. No matter how loud she yelled, no one would respond. No one would come rescue her. At that same moment, a woman of some sort, clad in a white robe with flowing white hair and red eyes, clamped one of her hands to Lita's head, and the other around her waist, and pulled her down.

"No one...can hear you scream," she sneered and drug a petrified Lita down with her.

"You guys notice something?" Mina tapped Rei and Ami on the shoulder.

"What?"

"The others ain't here. We're like, the only ones here," Mina replied.

"Hmm, you're right. You think maybe we lost track of time and the place is closed?" Ami suggested. "Perhaps we should go home now?"

"Nah," Rei pulled her back. "If you dolts would look outside and see that it's still broad daylight outside, there's no way this place could be closed."

"Hm, I suppose that's a logical solution," Ami giggled. "Look at me, I'm becoming like Serena!"

"I think there's a little Serena in all of us," Mina responded jovially.

"Now, Ami, back to what we were saying," Rei moved away slightly from Mina, who went back to bathing herself. "I still think Lupin can be a nice, kind man when he wants to be. He has a good heart and good morals."

"No, no, no," Ami shook her head. "A man like Lupin deserves to be locked up forever. He's a convict, a convict, a convict!!!" She stuck her tongue out at Rei, then all of a sudden, she was yanked under. No bubbles or nothing came up to the surface. Rei burst into laughter.

"You boob! That's what you get for disagreeing with me!" Rei retorted loudly in an Ataru-like voice. Then again, maybe Ami had drowned by accident. Rei plopped underneath to get her, but amazingly, the only things she saw were herself, and Mina nearby. She flew back up. "MINA! AMI'S DISAPPEARED!! RIGHT BEFORE MY VERY EYES!!!" She whirled around. "Mina? Min- Hey, where the hell did you go?" Funny, Mina was just there a second ago. Now Rei was the only one in the pool.

"Something weird...is going on here. I think I may have a feeling as to who's behind this," She pounded a fist into the palm of her other hand. Then she began to sulk. "I just hope I'm not right." Her pouting was interrupted by someone entering the pool. "Morgan! What took you so long?"

"Oh, I've been ready for a while, but I just had to stick around and see what happened," Morgan replied.

"What?"

"Some very, very masculine girl took out the whole entire security staff. I knew I had to leave the scene when I heard the sound of police cars and sirens outside," Morgan explained. "Where did everybody go?"

"That's what I'm trying to figure out," Rei said. It was then that she noticed something strange, coming right at Morgan at about 15 mph. "MORGAN! WATCH OUT!"

Morgan jerked her head and saw the object coming at her. "Oh shit. It can't be." She dove underneath.

"ACK! YOU PUTZ, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Rei followed her. Is she giving herself over to this fiend? Rei thought.

Morgan had her own plan. So, you thought you could find me again, is that it? Think again, you creep! I'll get you for this! She pulled out from ??? the Magical Crucifix, and the object backed away. Hah, that's better. She was jerked backwards. Rei gave her a what the fuck is with you? look.

Because Morgan was now ignoring the object, it took this as an opportunity to grab her, which it succeeded at doing. Rei tried to hold onto her, tried to pull her out, but it was too difficult.

"Morgan, I won't let you get taken!" Rei blurted out from under her breath, something not particularly wise for someone underwater. She cupped her hands over her mouth, gasping for oxygen, at the same time watching in horror as Morgan was sucked into the void. It disappeared. Now the waters returned to being calm. Rei shot back up. "Morgan!" She yelled. "No! I'm so sorry! It's all my fault!" Her eyes bugged out as the Magical Crucifix floated to the surface, right into Rei's hands. "Hmm, stupid me. Now I get it. Dammit, I was right. It's amazing that they've managed to narrow it down to just me." She leaped out of the pool. "Guess it's all up to me to save the say once more." She held up the crucifix. "CRUCIFORM...TRANSFORM!!!"

Posthaste after she was done, a giant tornado formed over the pool. Rei watched it in horror. Suddenly, the water dispersed, and there, floating in the air, was the woman with long white hair, clad in a flowing black and white kimono. Her eyes were large and almond-shaped. Her complexion was deathly pale. She gave a devious laugh at Rei.

"I knew Miwatasu3 couldn't keep you a secret forever. After I learned of Bub and Sheol's deaths, it was only a matter of time when I'd meet up with her again. That disguise of her's, so expected. All I had to do was get every girl in sight, before I hit the jackpot," the woman said viciously.

"Um, excuse me," Rei replied. "Just what the hell are you talking about?"

"We haven't been formally introduced. I am Mizu,4 leader of all vampires, and your ticket to hell!"

"Oh, is that so?" Rei responded sweetly. "Then obviously you haven't messed with the powers of the one, the only...VAMPIRE SAILOR REI!!!" She lashed out at Mizu, who vanished in the blink of an eye. Rei was now over a very large body of water, and it was rushing up to her. Just as she was about to hit it, the void from before opened, and she fell into it relentlessly. Everything grew black.

After what seemed like an eternity, a light appeared at the end of the black void. Rei flew out, and landed on a rock-solid surface. She got up and looked around. The place was so beautiful, it seemed to be atop a white mountain overlooking a crystal-clear lake. There were more mountains in the distance, some decorated with trees. The place reminded her of a wonderful hot-springs resort north of Tokyo, with dozens of steamy springs, and magnificent scenery. Funny, Rei thought, I never thought a vampire would choose to spar with me here. She turned to her left, and saw at least one hundred springs, each about three feet in diameter, with neatly placed stones around them. Situated between some of them were bamboo poles, obviously just for show. Rei took a few steps forward and breathed the air. No, nothing toxic, nothing life-threatening, nothing like what it was like at home (environmental humor).

"Weird," Rei ran her fingers through her short hair (couldn't resist, had to put it in). "Why would a vampire wanna fight me here? This is nothing like the battle-grounds I'm used to." She went over to a spring and peered into it. There she saw her reflection. Her mind then began to wander, until all of a sudden, a ripple formed in the spring, then another. Rei looked up. It wasn't raining. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. "What the hell is going on here?" She got to her feet and watched as more ripples formed in the spring she was observing.

Suddenly...FOOM!!! A figure came up from the water. Rei darted back and watched as it rose. She then noticed the same thing was occurring with the other hundred or so ponds. The figures began to take shape. Rei couldn't believe her eyes. What type of place is this? The hot-springs from hell? a demented nightmare, brought to life?

"I'm never going to another hot-spring again, for as long as I live," Rei gulped. The main figures before her had completed taking shape. The head of them all had two unsightly meatballs on her head, and two long pony-tails. Of the three behind her, one had short, chin-length hair; another had a big pony-tail in the back of her head. The last one had long hair, and a bow stuck out on top. Rei gasped. Then the water dispersed. They were Serena, Ami, Lita, and Mina! The figures completed taking shape, and the water dispersed from them as well. They looked exactly like the other girls from the bathhouse. Rei's eyes bugged out. And why shouldn't they? All the girls were naked.

"Damn," Rei said slowly. "I feel so, so perverted. Seeing all these bodies, some of them being my friends, gosh, they've all matured so fast. Well, except for that girl over there with the glasses. She at least makes me feel better. Man, this reminds me of the time when someone would say, `If you're nervous, try to picture everyone without their clothes on, and it'll make you feel better.' I was so foolish to believe them! I don't feel better, I feel fucking nauseous!" Rei felt her stomach get queazy. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a flash of lightning sounded. Now all the girls were lunging at Rei. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Magically, a wooden stake formed in her hand. "Huh? What am I supposed to use this for?" It dawned on her. "But, they're not vampires! Then again..." She noticed Serena's gorgeous set of fangs. "Alrighty then." She began to stab them, one by one, in the heart. The stabbed ones fell into various springs. Strangely enough, whenever a girl fell into a spring, that spring would freeze up, and it became so that a person could walk across it, but not slip on it. Rei decided to use this to the best of her advantage. So did the possessed girls.

Lita decided to have some fun with the Vampire Sailor. She got some of her new-found vampire buddies to gather some of the stones from nearby, and to stone Rei at free will, which they did, might I add. Rei fell to the ground and rubbed the back of her head in pain. There were so many of them, she knew they would outnumber her yet.

"Morgan, wherever you are, I need your help, and pronto!" Rei screeched. Once her head began to feel better, she got to her feet, only to struck down again. "I can't do this! I'm gonna die!" She watched fearfully as some blood seeped from her mouth. "I've failed! I'VE TURNED THE VAMPIRE SAILORS INTO A PACK OF PANSIES!!! I'm being done in by a horde of vampire nudists!" She tried once again to get up, only a foot was holding her down. Ami gave her a hellish sneer.

"Your number is up, Vampire Sailor Rei," She leered. She had in her hands her own wooden stake.

"No way," Rei gritted her teeth and slowly managed to get up. Her left shoulder wasn't working right, mainly because a girl with chin-length brown hair had pegged her there with a stone. She took her stake, and with careful and precise timing, she stabbed Ami in the chest as fast as she could. This of course made her an open target for more stoning. She managed to dodge them as she made a run for it. Without thinking, she climbed up a bamboo pole, and overlooked the swarming girls. Some of them continued to stone her, but the stones barely nicked her. Her shoulder still felt peculiar, but at least it still had feeling in it.

One of the girls tried to climb up after her, but Rei got her, and got her good. She recognized her as a girl from her ancient literature class. "Hmmph, don't think she'll be copying off me anymore." With her legs straddled around the pole, Rei did her best to keep her balance. She then noticed a glowing on her left side. She grabbed the strange-looking object and held it in her hands. It looked like a bow and arrow. There was a tag attached to it. It read, `This is the Heathen Hama-ya*. Use it properly. You have an infinite amount of arrows, so don't worry about running out. I'll always be with you.'(*The hama-ya is an arrow talisman bought at Japanese shrines at New Years. It is believed to destroy evil and prevent disasters. This one, of course, isn't a piece of jewelry, it's the real thing, a real bow and arrow.) "Thanks a lot, Morgan," Rei whispered. She noticed that these hama-yas had sharp wooden tips on the end, identical to her stakes. She tested one out. Sure enough, they did the trick, and in no time flat. Within the next couple of minutes, Rei took out about twenty or thirty girls. Each deceased girl fell into a different spring, which froze up. Rei jumped down, seeing that the crowd was thinning out. Lita was the last of the four girls to be standing (Serena and Mina were taken out at the beginning). Rei shot the arrow at Lita, who was caught off guard, and fell right into a spring.

From behind, Angela and Renee picked up Jamie's body, which was accidentally struck down when a stone hit her. With Rei's back turned to them, they flung Jamie's body at her, and it knocked her halfway into a spring. She lifted her face up and noticed that her bad arm was still submerged. She yanked it up and moved it around. Amazingly enough, the water had healed her almost-broken arm!

"These are like, healing springs," Rei said. She whirled around to Angela and Renee. She picked up Jamie by the neck, and drove a stake through her heart, then dropped her into a nearby spring. "But these two still don't have a prayer." She destroyed them both with the help of the arrows. Now there were only about a dozen or so left. "Piece of cake." Within minutes, every last one was gone. All the springs had frozen over. "My work here is done." Rei said as she wiped her hands against each other.

"Oh, I wouldn't necessarily say that," a voice called from high above behind her.

"YOU!!!" Rei aimed the hama-ya at her, filled with rage. "Do you really think I was gonna let you succeed? Think again!"

"Screw those worthless girls, they meant nothing!" Mizu was suspended in the air, her kimono blowing in the breeze. A dark shadow formed next to her. Suddenly, the dark aura diminished, and there stood Morgan! Like the other girls, she was stark naked. Mizu grabbed her chin. Morgan tried to wrestle away. "Now, for you...believe me, I've been dying to do this for centuries!" She prepared to sink her fangs into Morgan.

"Huh?" Rei nervously readied her hama-ya. "I WON'T LET YOU TAKE HER!!!" Still full of fury, but at the same terrified as hell, Rei shot the arrow off at Mizu, unfortunately, her aim was slightly.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Morgan screamed as the arrow pierced her chest, going right through her heart.

"MORGAN!!! NOOOOOO!!!" Rei's eyes filled with tears. Instead of killing Mizu, she had killed Morgan, before she was able to be bitten. In other words, she had been stabbed, in cold blood. Rei shivered sorrowfully. "Morgan..."

"My, just couldn't wait until after I got her, eh?" Mizu snickered devilishly. "You know, I really wanted the honor of destroying her myself."

Rei was still shock-stricken. "What the hell...what did I just do...oh my gosh..." She drew her sword. "DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!" She charged at Mizu.

"Now why are you getting steamed at me? I didn't even bite her," Mizu knocked her to the ground. "However, I do wish to thank you immensely. Finally, after a thousand years, Miwatasu is finally DEAD!!! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Now, the poor little Vampire Sailor is left by herself! My victory is nigh!" Rei expected to be beaten to a bloody pulp, but something caught Mizu's eye in the distance. She didn't want to fight Rei, but the figure that was coming towards her. She yanked Rei up by the arm, and flung her into a spring, one that had frozen over. Rei tried to get up to see what had happened, but she was confined to a force field that surrounded the spring.

"What's going on?" She tried to focus.

"You're gonna hafta get through ME first!" The mysterious person announced.

"No way..." Rei gasped. "Morgan? But, but I just killed her! Morgan! Why the hell is she in that shitty get-up? She looks almost like a goddess..."

"Aha! Miwatasu, you wasted no tine at all. Same ol', same ol'," Mizu beamed. "Just like all the other times."

"Only this time you're going down!" Miwatasu blared.

"What in the hell is going on here?" Rei yelled. She banged her hands against the field, but they made no sound. "Oh great, this thing is sound-proof."

"You're sooo predictable. You're like a thousand-year-old broken record. This all goes back to that day, so many years ago, at this very spot..." Mizu proclaimed. "You being the one and only Vampire Sailor, you tried to defeat me, but right when I was about to win big-time, you, being the petty little urchin that you are, forfeited. What a wuss. I could've let it go at that point, but no, I wanted a fair fight to the finish, just you and me! Mano y mano! I wasn't gonna let it go until I knew I had won! I guess I was just too tough for you, or maybe you were just scared...

"I suppose after some time, I was to assume you were dead. That is, until about a century later when a certain Vampire Sailor Stacy took me on. But she wasn't alone. With her was a morbid-looking girl, by the name of Morgan Virago. She tried her luck, but she died in the heat of the battle. Stacy did, that is, but Morgan didn't. She just...vanished away, into the world. About a hundred years later, it was Vampire Sailor Carrie's turn to test her might. Apparently, she had been trained, but a Miss Morgan Virago. She croaked. Then came Vampire Sailor Sara, then Dorrie, then Austina (she was certainly enjoyable), and they were all accompanied by Morgan, Morgan Virago!!! You notice a pattern here? So of course I knew there was no surprise to see you with the latest Vampire Sailor, Vampire Sailor Rei. However, instead of letting some little hussy try to beat me (which we all know is impossible), I'm just gonna cut to the chase and see what you've got to offer, which we all know is not much at all!" Mizu gave a roar of hellish laughter.

The fighting began. It somewhat appeared that the two were using martial arts skills, instead of vampire tricks.

"So," Rei began. "It all makes perfect sense now. Morgan's been in a deep pile of shit for the last millennium, and she's been using poor, innocent girls to try and clear her name!" Rei banged a fist against the field. "I feel, I feel, so, so used. But why? Why can't she fight on her own? Why must she drag me into all this? Haven't I suffered enough?"

"You were too strong for me, Mizu. I admit it-"

"Then why the hell didja go against me in the first fucking place?" Mizu interrupted.

"I thought I could take you on! But I...but I," Miwatasu paused. "but I couldn't."

"Then why don't you just let me kill you and get it over with! That's the main reason why I've been alive so long! I've been waiting for you!" Mizu raised a fist in anger. "You tried to get all those girls to do the work for you, is that it?"

"No, that's not true!" Miwatasu declared. "I was training them, just in case you were to attack. Before you would finally show yourself each time, the Vampire Sailor had to go against some of your worthless minions, like Beelzebub Lucifer, Sheol, and others like Nosferatu, Valad, Succubous. When the time finally came to face you, I guess they just didn't have what it took to win."

"Obviously," Mizu snorted. "Why don't we just make a deal. Instead of letting me toil through another millennium, waiting for you to appear, just let me kill you now. Patience is not one of my strong points! Dammit! You will die!" She charged at Miwatasu at full force, and inescapably pinned her to the ground. "This time, you let up, you lose."

"I've got to help her!" Rei said. "I know I shouldn't, seeing that she got herself into this on her own, and I'll probably feel bad about this in the morning, but I just can't let her die! Just imagine, all those times in the past, when she tried to be normal, just a regular teenage, but then Mizu would come and destroy it all. She only vanished out of the scene to save herself. I know I'll never be normal, what, with being this and a Sailor Scout, whew! My schedule is booked solid! She can't die without becoming a normal girl first! She needs just those years that were taken away, just those few years of her life, her teenage years! Morgan! For you teenhood, I WILL PREVAIL, SO HELP ME GOD, I WILL PREVAIL!!!" She crashed her sword through the force field. Pieces of protective glass shattered and fell to the ground. "MIZU!!! TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF HER THIS INSTANT!! IT'S ME YOU WANT!"

"Is that so?" Mizu got to her feet. Now the real fight began. The clashing of swords sounded throughout the mystical region, and Rei wasn't gonna let up until the fight was hers. Miwatasu watched in anticipation.

"Rei, you don't have to do this!" She called out.

"Yeah, is that so? Morgan, in case you haven't realized it, I'm a lot stronger than you, therefore, there's no chance of me forfeiting, got it?" Rei blurted as she clanged her sword against Mizu's.

"Amazing," Mizu breathed. "This one's actually got a backbone!"

"Now for the coup de gras," Rei yanked her stake from her belt and rammed it into Mizu's flesh. Instead of keeling over like the other vampires, she simply shrugged it off.

"Hah! That was supposed to hurt?" Mizu took the stake out and broke it in her hand, then handed the pieces to a bewildered Rei.

"Oh shit." Rei sighed. She turned to Miwatasu. "ALRIGHT, YOU STARTED ALL THIS! WHAT DO I GOTTA DO TO KILL HER?"

"Well, I guess I should've told you that before," Miwatasu responded casually. "That would've been nice!"

"Three things you gotta do, and in this order, got it? One, stuff her mouth full of garlic. Two, decapitate her, and three, drive a stake through her heart."

"But doesn't the second one just make the third one invalid? She'll already be dead!" Rei pointed out as she fended off Mizu.

"Hey, don't ask questions, just do it, okay?"

"Fine. So, where's the garlic?"

"Here!" Miwatasu tossed her a sack of garlic.

"Bitch, you gotta open my mouth first," Mizu snarled. "Like to see ya try and manage tha-mmmph!"

"No need to. You already did that for me," Rei replied as she crammed the sack in. Mizu's eyes rolled to the back of her head. "Is she dead yet?"

"Number two, Rei. Number two."

"Oh, right. Got it." She drew her sword. "This is gonna hurt me more than it does you," She sliced the sword right across the neck, and instantly, the head fell off. Blood everywhere. Rei began to feel light-headed. "Now...for number three..." She pressed the stake firmly into Mizu's chest. A blast occurred and Rei was repelled back. She sat up and watched as Mizu's body disintegrated into sand, then nothing. "Whew, all over and done with."

"Rei," Miwatasu rested a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you."

"No problem. Say, where's the antidote? You know, for all these bodies."

"Uh...antidote?"

"Yeah, gimme it."

"Um, about the antidote...you see..." Miwatasu trailed off.

"Morgan..."

"There isn't any!"

"What!?"

"There is no antidote."

"Are you kidding me?"

"No."

"I, I...I don't believe this! I killed all those girls in vain! They're all dead! Dead, I tell you, dead, dead, dead! Dead as doornails! Serena, Ami, Lita, Mina, gone, gone forever! They all died! They're all dead!" Rei burst into tears. "I killed them all!"

"Rei," Miwatasu began. Rei sniffled. "This is all my fault."

"You darn right it is. Boy, this really isn't your day, is it? But no matter how you look at it, all those girls are gone, and they're not coming back."

"There is one way."

"How?"

"I have to re-write history."

"Hoo boy."

"It's the only way. This is all my fault. I got you into this in the first place. I must make it my prime responsibility to fix things back to the way they originally were, and were meant to be. Before we crossed paths. Before you got involved. Rei, it's up to me to change everything back to normal. Your services are not required anymore. Now it's my turn."

"Morgan, what about me? Will I, will I look normal again?"

"I have no idea. I've never done this before." She motioned for the spring underneath Rei to open. Rei watched as the frozen substance under her feet began to separate. "Rei, I'll do the best I can. Rei," She grabbed her by the crucifix around her neck, then ripped the chain. Remember in the American Sailor Moon episode, titled Cherry Blossom Time, when Racey snatched Serena's Star Locket and her uniform flew off? Same thing happening here. Rei lost her footing and fell in. Her clothing flew off. "Thank you so much. I'll always remember you, no matter what."

"And I'll always remember you-AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Rei fell through. She looked above and saw Miwatasu and the entrance shrinking drastically. below her a black porthole opened. Giving the rash thought that it might be a porthole to hell, she tried to get out of it, but to no avail. She was sucked into it. She felt, saw, or heard nothing.

RRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGG!!! Rei's alarm went off. 7:30am. Rei pushed back the covers and sat up.

"Morning," she sighed. "Man, I feel so weird. So tired. Last night..." She rested her forehead in the palm of her hand and tried to think. She remembered everything, the battle, Mizu, the spring, and Miwatasu. "Did Morgan, did Morgan, did she fix everything back like she promised?" She got out of bed and got dressed. "I've got to find out right away!"

She burst down the hall, and paused before the mirror on the wall. "Nothing new here, I'm still the same," She pivoted around, modeling before her reflection, which did the same. It then caught her eyes. "Wait a second. Hey...my, my, MY HAIR!!! It's back to normal! It's long again! I'm not a prep anymore!" She cheered with excitement. "Morgan did succeed! She did it! I'm me again!" She ran out the front door.

"Hey! Get back here and eat your breakfast, young lady!" Her grandpa yelled.

"I'm not hungry! I'm way too excited to eat!" Rei replied as she ran in place. "I gotta go! See ya later!" She darted off.

Rei charged through Mame Graveyard, a shortcut to her school. "I'm so happy! Everyone's alive!" She burst into laughter remembering the look on Ami and Lita's faces when she bumped into them on the way to the graveyard. As she left their astonished glances, she recalled Lita saying, "Did she steal some of Mina's Prozac again?"

"Ha-ha-ha! It's so great to be alive!" She stopped skipping when a grave caught her eye by the walkway. Rei crouched down to see it. She was taken aghast. "Huh? Morgan Virago, dead? October 31, 1981-December 2, 1995, say, today's December 2nd! But, but, then that would mean, what a second. What does that mean? Morgan's dead now? But how can that be? Maybe when she was so guilt-ridden about screwing everything up, she felt that it would be best if she didn't exist, maybe that's it. Yeah, that has to be it." She forced back the tears and stood up. "I'm gonna miss you, Morgan. You were enjoyed."

"Excuse me?" A somewhat familiar voice uttered from behind Rei. Rei spun around. "Who were you talking to?"

"Eh?" Rei stared at her. She looked exactly like Morgan! In fact, who else could she be other than Morgan? Rei quickly glanced back and forth at both the gravestone and the girl. "Who are you?"

"My name," the girl began politely. "Is Morgan Virago."

"M-M-Morgan V-Virago?" Rei stuttered. "But, but, you're dead!"

"Huh? I am? But I've never felt more alive," the girl replied. "What's you name?"

"R-Rei H-Hino." Obviously she's trying to trick me, Rei thought. Or perhaps, perhaps when she was re-writing history, she made it so that it was though ever happened. Lita never saw her old boyfriend, Chad's roadie never returned, and none of the girls ever disappeared from the bathhouse. And above all that, Morgan and me never met. "I'm sorry. I was thinking of someone else."

"I'm sort of new around here. I just transferred from Youma Junior High," Morgan said.

"Y-Youma?" Rei grew pale. History's repeating itself! Well, in a way.

"Do you go to Juuban Junior High? That's where I'm headed," Morgan remarked.

"N-no, I go to T*A Academy," Rei replied. "But I can show you the way to Juuban. Follow me." She started off. Morgan was at her heels.

"No offense, but don't think I'm morbid or demented or anything like that," Morgan began. "But you give off the strangest aura, did you know that, Rei?"

"I do?" Rei affirmed.
