"College Life" is the first of Greenbeans' works, I believe, and still in progress. Generally, the series is a good, enjoyable read that emits a smile and a laugh from the reader more than once. There are little aspects of spelling and grammar that might require the most minor of polishings - but I usually tend to disregard such details. I pay more attention to things like story and plot, and this episode ("Part 10: The truth in deed") had it. Not like the other parts in their light, warm way (and shorter, too!), this one actually has a still of suspense that is presented right at the very beginning. At some sections, Greenbeans even adopts a different way of writing to achieve the desired effect and I think that this is a nice technical job done by her. The usual timelines that she inserts into her series also helps to add to the effect. The ultimate plot is clever and carried out well, in my opinion. The climax at the end that turns on the light after having been in the dark so long, with the revealing twist, along with a refreshing moment of action has one reading the whole thing again after one has finished. The fact that Greenbeans can do this with a fanfic about "college life" and still pull it off makes this a worthwhile read.
For those who have never heard of "College Life", never read it, or started and never quite got up to Part 10, I say that this one is worth it. Yes, I suppose that one really should read the preceding nine parts first, but I feel that those first nine parts are enjoyable enough to not make that much of a problem. My only comment there is that one might to be a Uranus and/or Neptune fan (like me!) to do that.
