A Tsui Hark production with John Woo at the directorial chair. Ho (played by Ti Lung) and Mark (played by Chow Yun Fat) are are in the business of counterfeiting money. Ho is sent to Taiwan for a business proposition where he is betrayed by a fellow member and later takes over the business. Kit (played by Leslie Cheung) is the cop which is the younger brother of Ho. Kit is sent to work on the case, might have to apprehend his brother in the process. This movie is simply awesome! The ballet of bullets action scenes are perfected and performed great. Chow Yun Fat developed and played the Mark Gor ("Gor means brother in Cantonese") role to an oscar performance. I highly recommend this movie!

Another hit by Ringo Lam! This movie was the first combination of Chow Yun Fat and Danny Lee. Chow plays as an undercover cop sent to infiltrate a gang of bank and jewelery theives. This movie set the tone for Quentin Tarantino's "Resevoir Dogs". This movie did not have too many gun scenes in it, but the story and script was really good. This movie is worth checking out!

Ringo Lam picked the right man for this movie! Chow plays as a leader of a small gang, makes a deal with this gay gang leader (played wonderfully by Simon Yam Tat Wah) to rob a weapons load only to get back stabbed by his own partner. Great guns scenes involving the bullets eye view, with great dialog (Chow tells Yam to go play with himself in hell) by Chow Yun Fat!
This movie was awesome and I highly recommend it!

Philip Kwok Chun-Fung (Kuo Chui),
Cheung Jue-Luh,
Y. Yonemura,
Kwan Hoi-San
- Cameo Appearance: John Woo (Ng Yu-Sam)
Perhaps the greatest action flick I've ever seen! John Woo chose the right title for this movie as it is hard! Great long gun scenes with unlimited bullets with so many people getting blown away you can't even count them. Chow Yun Fat plays the hardboiled detective with Tony "Leung Chi Wai" as the undercover agent sent to look for hidden arms. All I can say about this movie is that if you missed it then tough luck, because this movie is awesome! I highly recommend this flick!
The Killer

- Mandarin: Die2 Xue4 Shuang1 Xiong2
- Literally: Bloodshed Brothers
- Director: John Woo (Ng Yu-Sam)
- Action Director: Ching Siu-Tung
- Screenwriter: John Woo (Ng Yu-Sam)
- Cast: Chow Yun-Fat,
Danny Lee Sau-Yin,
Paul Chu Kong,
Kenneth Tsang Kong,
Sally Yeh (Yip Sin-Man),
Shing Fui-On,
Tommy Wong Kwong-Leung,
Parkman Wong Pak-Man,
Yip Wing-Cho
A John Woo production. Chow Yun Fat and Danny Lee team up again this time in a vice versa role. Danny Lee plays as the inspector and Chow the killer. Chow plays as Jefferey, a hired assasin who is later betrayed by the hirer who sends another assasin to try and kill Jefferey. Danny Lee is the inspector who tries to apprehend Jefferey for his crimes, but later befriends with Jefferey. Lots of fire scenes (especially in a church scene where Chow and Danny go all out against the bad guys!) like in hardboiled with a pretty basic, but cool storyline. An excellent movie and I highly recommend this flick!
The Replacement Killers
Chow Yun Fat makes his first debut in a U.S. major motion picture. John Lee (Chow Yun Fat) is a hired assasin sent to make a hit on a cops son, but things go wrong as Chow hesitates and doesn't finish the job. Mr. Way (Kenneth Tseng)has different plans as he threatens to kill his family and also hires assasins to try and kill John. John searches for Meg Corben (Mira Sorvino) "who creates fake passports" so he can go back to China to protect his family, but she also gets caught up in the heat of the action. A great movie with a Chow Yun Fat speaking English and Cantonese in this flick. Chow's use of the gun scenes add great style to the movie! Director Antoine Fuqua did a great job with this movie! A pretty basic script, but a great movie! I highly recommend this one!
