Free time > ..Goro loves to shop. His favorite brand is Prada. One time a fan teased him for wearing jogging pants while shopping at Hermès. He doesn't like to buy things without thoroughly thinking it over. But he does like to buy sunglasses--he has forty pairs. Goro also likes to read, play the guitar, drive, walk through parks, and go to the movies. Often he goes to the movie theater alone. He does not like going with other people because when the movie is over, he does not know what to say. "For 2 hours, you enter into that movie's world. After, all I can say is 'Do you have to go to the toilet?'" If he sees the movie with a girl, he has a bad habit of looking at her face during the good scenes. His favorite type of movie to watch at home is old French François Truffaut films.

On days off he hates to do nothing, so he hangs out at his favorite tea house which has over 700 blends of tea. Usually he orders the English blend. Also Goro frequently wears striped shirts on his days off; Takuya once said finding Goro on the street is like looking for "Where's Waldo"..
