Hello all! Steve here in Fudai, just on the other side of the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco. Fudai is a small (population 3,500) fishing village located in the northern part of Japan. I arrived here in late July, 1999. What am I doing here? I am participating in the JET Program. JET stands for Japanese Exchange and Teaching program. Basically, I`m an English instructor for the schools here. Coming here is like a dream come true. I had been studying Japanese for three years or so, and I am really interested in the language and culture. I like Japan so much, I married a Japanese woman! And I've even started a family here, with the birth of my son Leon. Anyways, I`ve been taking alot of pictures since coming here, and so this web site is kind of my photo exhibit for all of you.
