Switches, plugs ,signal lights,.are the accoustic signs of the electric and electronic 'nerve system' of the house. The trend towards ever more complex functions started at the time we developed this modular system that allows for multiple units to be mounted without separating walls. It the became thus possible to mount also larger elements like timers, displays, emergency lights, loudspeakers, etc.

The form of the warning light as a vertical stripe, an exclamation mark, gave us the motive for the whole series. Visually disturbing elements like fixing screws are hided by little covers.

Its destination to the lower market segment led to the decision to produce the series in ABS avoiding in this issue any metallized cover.

It was awarded in 1979 with the prestigious italian Golden Compass.
