salad set of the Serafino cutlery set

a hairpin and comb of a japanese geisha

set posate
This set of cutlery in stainless steel is made from heavy stainless steel plate in order to permit a gradual sculped passage from the 'handle' to the spoon. The single designs are not just a geometric series but has been designed as a sequence of growthof natural forms like like a plant from its initial budding( the coffee spoon) till its final mature developed form (the ladle).Morphologically, this cutlery for the Serafino Zani factory is designed in the wake of japanese tradition as in the geisha's comb. These were made in similarity to the leave of the Gingko Biloba, one of the first trees that appeared on earth

.One will also note the typical split in the leaf that shows up as in the 'fork' of the salad set
